(AllHipHop News) Every summer, radio personnel and record label executives alike are looking for that breakthrough summer song to heat up the airwaves.

Early on, as this summer gets under way, radio stations nationwide are playing the Atlanta-born record, “Cashin Out” by rapper Cash Out, and produced by none other than DJ Spinz.

While Hip-Hop fans may still be getting used to Cash Out, they have already embraced the music of DJ Spinz over the last year, as Spinz has been responsible for the popular songs “Riot” by 2 Chainz and “Ring, Ring,” a Future and Rick Ross collaboration featured on Rick Ross’ Rich Forever mixtape.

AllHipHop.com caught up with the 23-year- old producer and radio DJ to find out the story behind the hit song, “Cashin Out”, and how the two came up with the hook and song.

“‘Keisha’ is another term for loud, as we would call it, or good weed. ‘Nina,’ you know, that’s a 9 millimeter, and ‘Cashin Out’ really speaks for itself. Me and Cash Out, we got in the studio in November, and we were going through a couple of records. He gave me the hook, I fit it around what he said, and it turned out to be crazy,” DJ Spinz told AllHipHop.com.

In popular Hip-Hop fashion, the remix was released last week and features Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Akon, and Yo Gotti – all artists that Cash Out and DJ Spinz hand-picked.

“We wanted to get each person for different reasons. We got Akon because he is a huge international artist, and Akon is one of my favorite artists of all time. Jeezy because he is a legend. Fab reached out and jumped on, and [Yo] Gotti, those were the best verses we heard, and I thought it would be a good balance because it’s not too heavy in one spectrum,” DJ Spinz explained.

While Spinz is new to the game in many people’s eyes, he actually has been working his hand in music for nearly a decade.

“I’ve been DJing since I was 14, and I got into radio back in Augusta, Georgia, my hometown, back when I was 16. So I started doing a music a while ago, and I really started making beats when I got to college,” DJ Spinz said.

Spinz has been busy on the heels of the “Cashin Out” success, as he has work with Big Sean, Waka Flocka, Travis Porter, Roscoe Dash, Future, 2 Chainz, and several others artists on the cusp of release.

“Me and Future did some more work, me and 2 Chainz, me and Waka Flocka did that “Rooster in my Rari” track and Rich Kids who just got a deal, work with Kid Ink, just continuing to make this quality sh*t. Also, me and Gucci got a record that features Fab as well; that’s co-produced by my homie, C4. That’s called “Makes No Sense”,” an excited DJ Spinz told AllHipHop.com

DJ Spinz, who was mentored by DJ Scream, can be heard on HoodRich Radio on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 on Tuesdays and Fridays, as well as Sirius XM’s Hoodrich Radio with DJ Scream and Cory B.
