Don’t go crazy just yet! YES, French Montana was bumped from Summer Jam, but it was from Summer Jam 2011! In an interview with the NY Daily News, Bronx native French Montana tells the paper that he was supposed to come out as a surprise guest during Rick Ross’ set last year, but was bumped due to Ross’ set running too long. Check out what he said about the incident below:

“I was kinda hurt,” Montana said of the missed chance to perform “Choppa Choppa Down.”

But fear not, this year Montana has his own set and he promises lots of surprise guests.

“It’s a big thing for me, especially being from New York. It’s the night that everybody talks about,” he said of the concert, adding that over the years, the Summer Jam stage has seen the biggest entertainers, from Jay-Z to Michael Jackson.

“It’s going to be the biggest event of the year,” the “Shot Caller” rapper said.
