Stevie Williams Talks Skating; Takes Over Macy's With Lil Wayne

(AllHipHop News) Professional skater Stevie Williams and rapper Lil Wayne launched their respective brands at Macy’s on Friday (June 1), during a special event at the Beverly Center.

Stevie Williams’ DGK line and Lil Wayne’s Trukfit brand launched during the exclusive event, which included an autograph signing and VIP reception.

Williams, a native of Philadelphia, named his skate brand after his old crew “Dirty Ghetto Kids.”

“What Wayne and I are doing is bringing Skate Culture inside of corporate entities where a lot of our fans shop and we’re proud to do this with Macy’s,” said Stevie Williams.

Williams, who is also a brand ambassador for Supra footwear, G-Shock watches and 9Five eyewear, was excited to launch the brands with Wayne.

“It’s exciting to share this moment with my homie Lil Wayne and show the world skate fashion is cool,” Williams added.

    LOL, they got me!

  • Stevie Williams = legend
    Lil’ Wayne = fake poser

  • Damn Stevie why? Macy’s is the death knell for street wear brands, always has been. Once it hits Macy’s its considered main stream and the true supporters want nothing to do with it anymore. It’s a catch 22. I worked there while in college, I seen it happen too many times.
