Happy Friday, my visionaries!

Welcome to the last day of the week, but still another opportunity to make great things happen! Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to your vision and your ability to see the whole picture. I once had an elementary teacher who always said “Don’t lose the forest for the trees.” As a young adolescent, not trying to understand what the phrase meant, I always thought it was the dumbest thing… I thought… if you’re already in the forest, how can you lose it for the trees??? It just didn’t make sense!!

In actuality, people do it all the time. We set grand goals for ourselves (the forest) and break them down into small pieces (the trees), but while trying to accomplish the small pieces, we sometimes lose sight of the bigger picture. Sometimes the answer might be another small piece, but we get so caught up in the current situation that we jeopardize the grand prize!

See the Whole Picture!! Always remember what your original goal is, and do what’s in the best interest of reaching that goal. What you can see beyond is what you will eventually get! See more than just today! See where you want to be ultimately, and keep that vision in your mind’s eye! The future belongs to those who see and prepare for it today!!
