(AllHipHop News) Rapping technician Tech N9ne has signed Georgia rapper Rittz to his Strange Music label. The Kansas City chopper recently explained on YouTube how he discovered the rapid rapping MC while working with fellow Southerner Yelawolf on his All 6’s and 7’s album.

“I was working with this guy on All 6’s and 7’s. He said, ‘Man, I know this one dude; he’s the clearest spitter I ever heard.’ I’m like, ‘Hmmm.’”

Said Tech N9ne in his trademark mumble, “After I met the guy the first time, I went to one of his shows, and I was like, ‘Damn.’ It was so good that I had to say, ‘Trav, we’ve got to see what we can do about this.’”

Before working with Tech N9ne, Rittz’s quick and crisp rhymes were featured on Yelawolf’s “Box Chevy Pt 3” on his 2010 street album, Trunk Muzik, as well as Rittz’s own White Jesus mixtape series. Although, Rittz is signed to Strange Music, he still maintains a strong affiliation with Slumerican records, which was founded by his tourmate Yelawolf.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to see my face on a CD cover in a store,” says Rittz. “I’m so excited, man. And don’t get it twisted, it’s still Slumerican for life. Strange is the label. We’re about to make good music, man. I can’t wait.”
