Gotta be my favorite dude in the R&B game, this mans talent is a breath of fresh air in today’s game where most artists are singing about Ciroc bottles and groupie love. Glad he picked Universal too, for some reason I pictured Drake starting a label and having The Weeknd as his first artist, glad that shit didn’t happen. The only let down for me is that the album will be a compilation of his 3 mixtapes, I’ve already played the shit out of all of those tapes, not that they aren’t incredible, I was just hoping a dude like this who doesn’t flood the game with new music like some artists (which I love because it makes you appreciate the quality more) would have all new material when he dropped his debut on a label. Either way I’m looking forward to the new tracks, hopefully there’s more than just a couple.
