(AllHipHop News) MC Lyte has been tapped to host HipHop 4 Life’s annual “Youth Fest” event taking place in New York next month.
The event, which will take place October 6 at John Jay College in New York, aims to help 12-18 year-old’s build self-esteem and leadership skills.
In addition to MC Lyte, popular radio host Charlamagne and Angela Yee from Power 105.1 will be among the notable speakers encouraging the teenagers.
The theme of this year’s annual “Youth Fest” is “Don’t Pressure Me… Respect Me!: Combating Bullying.”
“Youth Fest” will feature an activity fair, parent workshops, performances and entertainment.
HipHop 4 Life life will also provide over 200 children with a free lunch during 2012 “Youth Fest,” which takes place from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
