The original show, which featured guests like Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Tyra Banks, Serena Williams and others, featured guests and comedians in impromptu, head-to-head “improv battles.”

At its height, from 2005-2007, “Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out” was one of MTV’s highest rated shows in the network’s history.

“Wild ‘N Out” aired for four consecutive seasons and helped introduced comedians like Kevin Hart, Katt Williams, Affion Crockett and Taran Killam to new audiences.

“I get asked every day when ‘Wild ‘N Out’ will be back,” Nick Cannon said. “I’m thrilled to announce that the show will be making its long-awaited return very soon – bigger and better. With our show’s original cast, everyone from Kevin Hart to Katt Williams, Affion Crocckett and Taran Killam becoming household names, I am looking forward to working with MTV2 as we work to introduce the biggest comedic stars of tomorrow with the return of ‘Wild ‘N Out.’”

“Building on our long-standing relationship with Nick Cannon, we are ecstatic to welcome his creative genius back to the MTV family,” said Paul Ricci, Senior Vice President of Programming and Production for MTV2. “The re-mixed ‘Wild ‘N Out’ will deliver a high-energy, clever and hilarious addition to MTV2’s original programming line-up.”

The new incarnation of “Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out” is seeking brand-new comedians for the new series, which is slated to air in 2013.
