Happy Giving Tuesday!

Welcome to the day set aside to give back! No Really…. Today is Giving Tuesday! We had a day for giving thanks (#Thanksgiving), and two days for getting deals (#BlackFriday &#CyberMonday). This year, let’s help create #GivingTuesday™, the giving season’s opening day. Today is the day that charities, families, businesses and individuals are asked to come together to transform the way people think about, talk about, and participate in the giving season.

It’s a simple idea. Find a way for your family, your community, your company, or your organization to join in acts of giving. Tell everyone you can about what you are doing, and why it matters. Let’s create ways to give more, give better, and give smarter. For more info, visit GivingTuesday.org.

Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to…. Giving!! There’s a universal law that says, “the more you give, the more you get.” There is no coincidence that the people who give the most are the ones who have the most! Yes, you may say that they have it to give, but you’ll be surprised at how a little can help a lot. Giving is a selfish act! Not only does it make you feel great that you are helping someone less fortunate, but it also gives back to you in-kind!

Starting immediately, I need you to get used to giving! Not with an ulterior motive, but with an open heart, to someone who CANNOT repay you. Your purpose in life is to leave the world better than how you found it! Give back what has been given to you, and help push the world forward! You have more power than you use and can help more than you think! #GetUsedToGiving!!
