THE SECOND AMENDMENT BROKEN DOWN
Recent mass shootings have started new efforts to further break down the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The people have a right to protect themselves against the government, according to the founding fathers who drafted the document.
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
“A well regulated Militia,” ~ This phrase’s meaning is open to debate about who does the regulating, with the government and the people both claiming the right to regulate or govern the militia. Should the military be a reflection of the populace, or stronger than its population. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Massacres like Black Wallstreet, M.O.V.E., and the one portayed in the movie Rosewood, depicting the massacre in rural Levy County, Florida, in January 1923, and recent ones could have possibly been prevented by a well armed populace. There have been many shootings stopped by armed citizens. The real “D’jango Unchained”, Dangerfield Newby, was with John Brown at Harper’s Ferry, on October 16, 1859, and illustrated the contrast between The Government’s and The People’s militias, the government won, and slavery continued. The film ”Birth Of A Nation”, was the Clansman‘s portrayal of the Ku Klux Klan as heroes, and their racist violence against the defenseless, as American Knights in white sheets. Without protection, there can be no security.

THE FIRST U.S. GUN CONFISCATION
“The Special Report of the Anti-Slavery Conference of 1867 complained that freedmen were “forbidden to own or bear firearms and thus, rendered defenseless against assaults” by whites. Or as a letter printed in the Jan. 13, 1866 edition of Harper’s Weekly observed: “The militia of this county have seized every gun found in the hands of so-called freedmen in this section of the county.“
This was the second gun confiscation in the history of America, the first sparked the American revolution, which commenced with “The Shot heard around the world!” at the Battles of Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775. a date, which is tied to the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing, The Waco Texas tragedy, and the wrongful conviction of Youtube’s July 4 Patriot AKA: USMC’s Sgt. Charles Dyer, who help start the organization called “The Oath Keepers” with E. Stewart Rhodes.
