Chief Keef’s Step Brother Murdered; Chicago Teen Violence Continues

CHIEF KEEF’S STEP BROTHER LATEST VICTIM OF CHICAGO’S MURDER WAVE

Chief Keef’s step brother Ulysses “Chris” Gissendanner III was fatally gunned down in South Chicago last Wednesday (January 2), according to DNAinfo.com Chicago.

Known by the rap moniker “YPN Boomtown,” the young rapper was related to Chief Keef by marriage after Chief Keef’s father, Afonso Cozart, married YPN Boomtown’s mother Aridecy Tate, and then divorced in 2012.

Alfonso Cozart, said he no longer has contact with his son Chief Keef, born Keith Cozart.

On Wednesday (January 2) Gissendanner was gunned down in a car near 124th and Union after visiting his uncle in West Pullman, after which he died at Roseland Hospital at 45 W. 111th S.

According to Chief Keef’s lawyer and grandmother, Chief Keef’s immediate family did not recognize Gissendanner or Alfonso Cozart as family members.

According to Keef’s Attorney Dennis Berkson, Chief Keef “wasn’t friendly” with Gissendanner and had “nothing to do with the kid,”Berkson explained. “And [Chief Keef] has no relationship with his father.”
