(AllHipHop News) In the midst of her American Idol press tour, Nicki Minaj appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show With Jay Leno where she opened up about past career aspirations (“Doesn’t everyone grow up wanting to be a bus driver?”), first thing she would do as President of the United States (“I would legalize illegal U-turns”) and more.  Nicki refers her gig as the new American Idol judge as “getting a day job” in between working on her third album.

This interview faired considerably better than the young mogul’s recent run-in with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club where she demonstratively accused the radio hosts of giving her bad interviews because of a lack of interest in researching.

Nicki Minaj’s as-of-yet untitled follow up album to 2012’s Roman Reload: The Re-Up is slated for a 2013 release.
