(AllHipHop News) Harlem native Vado has officially become the newest addition to DJ Khaled’s We the Best imprint, which is housed under Cash Money and distributed by Def Jam Recordings/Universal Motown.

Vado, who recently parted ways with former label Interscope, joins fellow artists Ace Hood, Mavado and Yung $avage under Khaled’s label.

“[DJ Khaled] is family,” Vado told ThisIs50‘s Jack Thriller. “Of course we got the same vision and that’s the takeover and going straight to the top and staying there.”

Most recently Vado released Slime Flu 3, a 17-track mixtape featuring the likes of Fred the Godson, Jae Millz, Gunplay and J.R. Writer, that has been downloaded from DatPiff over 100,000 times in the past eight days.

In addition to announcement about his new home, Vado spoke on a supergroup he may or may not be forming with fellow New York staples Lloyd Banks, Juelz Santana and Fabolous.”They’re my brothers for real,” he told ThisIs50.

“They show love and for them to be from New York and respect and show love to another lyricist…and not look at me as the challenger or whatever, it’s all love and we’re like brothers and so we was talking about it like ‘let’s be a supergroup and just smash it!’

When further pressed about the reality of the four emcees joining up, Vado said, “It could definitely happen but me personally I gotta come up and stand right next to them. They all got their weight up.”

He continued, “They’re all platinum artists and I didn’t even get my feet wet yet. I don’t really belong in that group to keep it 100% as far as my status, I’m not talking about my talent.
