(AllHipHop News) Fresh off the release of his brand new mixtape, Cops N Robbers, MMG affiliate and Def Jam’s own Gunplay is piecing together producers and guests to appear on his debut album, Medellin.

In an interview with HHDX, Gunplay revealed that he has collaborated on a track for Medellin with Pharrell titled “Steel Drums” and is also awaiting a verse from BIg Sean for another untitled collaboration.

“Expect Pharrell on there,” Gunplay told HHDX. “I’ve been working with him recently. I got one with him called ‘Steel Drums,’ and I’m finna do another one featuring Big Sean. I’m just waiting for the vocals back and stuff. It’s going to be huge.”

Artists like Rick Ross, Pusha T, A$AP Rocky, Yo Gotti, Trina and Rockie Fresh recently supplied verses for Gunplay’s Cops N Robbers so it’s certainly safe to assume that he and the label will be calling in some more heavyweights for Medellin.

He also stated that he would be featured on Lil Wayne’s upcoming album I Am Not A Human Being II.

“I’ve been working with a few cats,” he told the site. “I got one with Turk, a couple of fools, and I’m on Wayne’s new album coming out. I’m on that,” he said. “There’s so much man, I don’t know where to start.” Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being II is set to drop on March 26th.

Gunplay’s Def Jam debut, Medellin, is slated to be released sometime in the 2nd quarter of this year.
