(AllHipHop News) The embattled Philly MC, Cassidy confirmed on his personal Twitter account yesterday that he will be in Ghana on February 16th for the RLG Accra Night Life Awards. The rapper’s performance is being described as an “honorary moment” in the show’s commercials.

The awards show will celebrate the DJ’s, promoters and all the major players in the Ghana nightlife. The event, organized by EDGE 32 and supported by rIg Communications will be held at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra, Ghana.

Cassidy’s name is not only in the praises of Ghana but also the vitriol of friend-turned-competitor Meek Mill. During an impromptu freestyle session at Philadelphia’s Power 107.9, the MMG MC continued their beef and sent numerous lyrical jabs at  the Larsiny Family general. Meek rapped about Cassidy being in protective custody while incarcerated, Ar-Ab allegedly taking a murder case for Cassidy and also his 2006 car accident.
