Young Jeezy Countersues Former Business Partner Kinky B.

(AllHipHop News) Young Jeezy has fired back at a former business partner, who is suing the rapper over monies earned from his record label, CTE (Corporate Thugs Entertainment).

Demetrius “Kinky B” Ellerbee is suing Young Jeezy for $5 million, claiming he executive produced four of the rapper’s hit albums.

According to TMZ.com, Young Jeezy has countersued Kinky B. in court.

Young Jeezy claims that he is not friends with Kinky B. and that they have never entered into any business deals together.

According to Jeezy, he never made any agreements to share half of his profits with Kinky B.

But Ellerbe’s lawsuit claims he was instrumental in obtaining CTE’s deal with Def Jam, yet he was cut out of millions of dollars in profits, which Young Jeezy allegedly redirected to his personal accounts.

“Essentially, Young Jeezy just kind of took over the company, and elected to take all the funds,” Ellerbee’s attorney Mario Breedlove said.

Taking a page right out of Jay Z book well done! ( Sarcasm)

    • hoeyuno

Ha ha. dash made a lot of money tho. he just wasn’t smart with it. he was a dick to so after rockafella nobody wanted to sign to him.

      • BossBeaux

        Word!

      • Dash was just a compulsive investor, he saw this he’d invest in it he saw that he’d invest in it. He made a lot of bad investments.

Knowing Dame, he is too proud and his pride must have got in the way of his businesses, sometimes you just need to know when to exit a business that is causing a financial loss instead of pumping more money into it.

Wish the dude all the best though.

      • Sign him?

Break that down…What does Dame Dash actually do?

        Manager?

        Producer?

        Agent?

        Promoter?

      • Q.

        He’s a hustla, he’s a he’s a hustla, homie
        He’s a hustla, he’s a he’s a hustla, homie LOL

      • Dash took a loan out to buy Jay-Z out of his dead end contract at Relativity Records, Dash bought Jay-Z a benz so he could parlay the drug kingpin image they were going for, Dash got the wolves off Jay-z’s neck over some slight that happened at the Limelight, Dash was paying for Jay’s entire lifestyle, recording sessions, co-features, clothing, travel, gas while he was trying to shop a deal. If it wasn’t for Dash the last time ya’ll would’ve heard Jay-z would’ve been on was high potent in 1986 if it wasn’t for kane who put him on show and prove which led him to dame (Dame was invested in Kane at the time). Alot of Jay’s history has been conveniently rewritten to make him seem larger than life..the reality of his success is greatly owed to others..while yes he’s amazing solo artist he wouldn’t have had the chances he’s had if it wasn’t for others carrying him to the point where he could make decisions on his own. I will say more of Jay’s success is owed to Dame and the situation Dame put him into than Jay’s own gifts..Dame made Jay-z a partner when he didn’t have to and that partnership is what allowed Jay to get benefits in Def Jam even it’s golden child LL Cool J couldn’t and can’t get.

      • MiiUziWeighsATon

Some true…some not true…Dame said the reason him an Kareem started fukking wit Jay was because he was a BK nigga getting money, with Harlem swag….was Jay Rayful, hell naw….but he was getting bread homie and he had bread, his own bread…Jay, Kareem and Dame built RocAFella Records TOGETHER with street money….Kareem was richer than both Jay and Dash…all that other stuff you speaking on you need to provide references for that shyt cuz I never read nor heard none of that

      • atle fjeldstad

I think that Gamer`s story sounded more like the reality, then Jay being a kingpin..

      • hoeyuno

Jay was no kingpin. jays turned out to be a smart dude but I have never believed that.

      • Jay-Z was a BK nigga getting money? Living out his mom’s house in Marcy? That’s the truth..why memphis bleek during all his slobbering of Jay-z early on never said nothing of the sort. All memphis said was “He put me on”..every mofo in the projects has a few sacks for sale..that does not equate bread. You do realize when Jay-Z and Big L put out that freestyle on wax it cost 2g’s because it was still a popular technology to print wax in that era..who paid for it? Dame and Big L…Jay was a glorified hood celebrity because he rolled with Kane when Kane was big..but Kane didn’t have any of that drug ishh around him so how are you with a 5% from 1988 to 1994 who doesn’t associate with drugs but you are getting street money? How do I know what I know? My pops was one of the execs over at Tommy Boy back in that era before he passed. Don’t believe the hype..Jay is a product of his creators..

      • RIP to Pop Duke

Back in 83-84?, my peeps were offered a deal from Tommy Boy, I think it was $00.44 a record or $1.50? That sound about right?

Your story does seem realer than the Kingpin legend, especially the part about being in mom’s house in Marcy.

      • hoeyuno

I still haven’t heard jay zs side of that Freestyle. L tore it up tho… “You was never shit, your mother shoulda swollowed you”…. Ha ha

      • DollasTX

        Keep going…

      • Casor_Greener

Jay-Z wasn’t a kingin. Anybody believing that lie needs their behind kicked

      • DollasTX

No doubt … I was digging the detail in his explanation
I remember reading a RZA article back in the early 2000 where he pretty much described in detail his Shawn carter encounter before rocafella that lead me to believe his story was manufactured and embellished as well

      • jay was getting money in va..listen to momma loves me on blueprint..all fact…

      • Thanx

        .He shops deals?

I don’t understand about DAME signing? They would sign Dame to do what?

      • sign to dame

      • Good look, that clarified it 100%.

      • bigdoe6

Dame is a Genius. What happened when he left rocafella? Jay didn’t have the the mental capacity to keep the roc going. Dame was that nigga.

      • sign to him he had a record label

      • hoeyuno

Umm wasn’t he trying to do all of that with dd172?? Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t that the source of currency suing him over music???

      • Not sure, never heard of DD172 or the Currency issue, but I understand now.

      • hoeyuno

You read it wrong. chill on the blunts ed!!

      • >>Out’s the loud, wipes eyes & re-reads!

        LOL~N

    • bigdoe6

What about Roccett???? And Slick Pulla wonder why he never dropped a album.

    • BernardPerez

Lmfao think bout diddy, uncle luke, suge aint no body tryna cut checks. E.ness learned that da hard way

  • bigdoe6

This OG in my hood once told me it’s cool to have money, have all the bad bitches, have the flyest cars and all, but if your niggas in your crew ain’t getting money with you then you might as well be dead. These successful Black men who came from nothing together shouldn’t be suing each over for anything. Two smart Black men who turned a negative into a positive suing each other over money. Very sad.

  • EzE

kink B been holding Jay Jenkins (jeezy) down from jump back when he use to call himself lil Jay (irony),, its fucked up how all of a sudden when a nigga wants whats over due to him jeezy catches a case of amnesia…

  • Friend or no friend, when it comes to business always have contracts in place.

  • E McArthur

come on Jeezy there’s a long history of interviews and whatever of you and Kinky B saying you two were business partners…smh…

  • Without the BMF co-sign and Kink where the hell would Jeezy be? Seriously i’ve never respected this guys skills, I respect his message but i’ve found him to be extremely fraudulent and virtually made a living off being affiliated with the south’s biggest family.

  • MiiUziWeighsATon

Jeezy bugging….he been yelling Kinky B name out all over his mixtapes and albums…lol…..Jeezy a snake

  • KingChandler

“Kink B told me finish my meal, Def Jam 7 figures we can finish the deal.” You know Kinks lawyers are gonna be bringin up a gang of lyrics for this case. lol
