AllHipHop.com: First of all, can you tell us which area you rep? And When did you know that you wanted to pursue a career in the music industry?

N.O. Corleone I rep East New York, Brooklyn, in New York City. That’s where I get my style, my energy and my flavor. I first knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the music industry when I was a kid. I noticed the affect Hip Hop had on me and I wanted to grow up and have the same affect on others.

AllHipHop.com: What artists have influenced you and why?

N.O. Corleone I’m a fan of lyrics that display intellect. I like to listen to music I can get something from and that affects my mood and point of view on different topics. So the artists that have influenced me the most would be Rakim, B.I.G., Nas, Jay-Z, Eminem and Andre 3k.

AllHipHop.com: What do you think N.O. Corleone brings to Hip Hop?

N.O. Corleone Presently I feel that Hip Hop has moved away from the art, and less emphasis are placed on lyrics, topics and thought provoking music as a whole. That’s what I feel I bring to Hip Hop. I concentrate on creating timeless music that listeners can be raised on, instead of just creating “now” music for the moment.

AllHipHop.com: Currently you are making a huge impact with your new single, “Notorious B.I.G Forever,” tell us about that song and why you wrote it?

N.O. Corleone The Notorious B.I.G. has been and still is influential in my life and many other people’s lives. I wanted to pay homage in a creative way that would touch everyone. Often times many people wonder how Hip Hop would be if he was still alive, so I put it into a song. Plus, I feel the game needs to be reminded of what skill levels this Hip Hop thing was once based on. The song “Notorious B.I.G. Forever” is the single off of my street album entitled “Don Of The Ghetto.” I also have a track called “We On It” featuring French Montana.

AllHipHop.com: Where would you like to see yourself five years from now?

N.O. Corleone In five years I see myself a few albums deep in the game at the head of Corleone Family Music Group helping my artists become established. I want to build my brand similar to a YMCMB, MMG, or Bad Boy. Look out for me. But in the meantime, follow me on Twitter @N_O_Corleone1 and on Youtube at Youtube.com/nocorleonefamily and check out my street album on Datpiff
