(AllHipHop News) Rapper Snoop Lion has announced and April 23 release date for his highly anticipated album Reincarnated.

The album, which is being executive produced by Diplo and Major Lazer, features appearances by artists like Drake, Akon, Busta Rhymes, T.I., Chris Brown, Rita Ora, Mavado and others.

Snoop Lion is preparing to release the album’s next single, “No Guns Allowed.”

The new track features Snoop Lion’s daughter Cori B., an artist in her own right.

“We were searching for true reggae music and the message of peace and hope it reflects,” Snoop Lion said of Reincarnated. “It’s so much a part of who I am, and this record is all about paying homage and giving respect to those who created and love reggae music, and hopefully introducing it to a whole new audience. I feel truly honored to make this album and respect to all who blazed the path for me.”

Reincarnated is being released by Snoop’s company Berhane Sound System, in conjunction with Mad Decent, VICE Music, and RCA Records.

In related news, on March 15, Snoop Lion’s movie “Reincarnated” will debut.

The documentary chronicles the recording while that snoop went through while recording the Reincarnated album in Jamaica.
