Lil Wayne and Jay Z Confirmed To Be On Drake’s New Album

(AllHipHop News) Drake’s follow-up to his multi-platinum, Grammy award winning sophomore album Take Care is beginning to take shape. Rolling Stone previewed the rapper’s album and notes that both Jay Z and Lil Wayne will make appearances Nothing Was The Same.

The official tracklist is still unknown, however the Rolling Stone confirmed the name of a song entitled “Connect” which is said to be a tear jerker. “That one hits you in the heart,” Drake says of the record. “It’s painful and beautiful at the same time.”

The inclusion of “Connect” seems to at the very least add more doubt to the rumored tracklist for Nothing Was The Same leaked on Drake’s father’s personal Instagram account over 2 months ago.

    Most influential hip-hop artist(s) of all-time:

    1) Drake — he brought unprecedented levels of realness to hip-hop and saved it from dying.

    2) DJ Kool Herc — he invented it, pretty self-explanatory.

    3) The Native Tounges Movement — Responsible for tonnes of quality records; made the Black conscious vibe cool and influenced pretty much everyone.

Honorable mentions: Jay-Z, DJ Premier, 2pac, Nas, Rakim

Dr. Dre doesn’t make the cut because he’s the biggest fake of all-time. That’s why Drake has refused to work with him several times and instead shouted out Native Tounges artists like ATCQ on records. Drake knows real hip-hop. Dr. Dre has always had ghostwriters and aids producing records. While Dre has several notable records, he hasn’t produced as many records as Premo, Dilla, Madlib, RZA, Alchemist etc. He’s mad overrated and he is gay. Word is that he keeps the Tupac hologram in his basement and jerks off to it.

  • More slow singing and bragging about what he has when we all saw the video of Drake being denied entry for an exclusive event. #cornball

  • Live Well

Drake is too safe to ever be great.

    • ItGoesDownINtheDM

drake is far from safe .. he might not curse much but like kanye his lyrics are very explicit and bravado … and he reveals alot of his own personal faults in his music …. far from safe …………. if anything id just say he has a better angle …. he doesnt have ish working against him like making his name Uncle Murder or some ish like that …..

      • Live Well

Drake is boring. Same 3 boring, self absorbed topics: being rich and famous, people hating on his wealth and fame, and how fragile he is emotionally.

  • ShortDogg

Drake is an R&B singer and not a rapper! Be for real! Dude is weak lyrically.

    • ItGoesDownINtheDM

so your saying drake is more like Rkelly than Jarule ?? or is he more Jarule than Rkelly ?? lol
