Lauryn Hill Allowed To Tour During Home Detention

(AllHipHop News) After being released from a three-month prison sentence for not paying taxes on $1.8 million, former Fugees singer/rapper Lauryn Hill has to complete three more months on home detention. According to reports, Ms. Hill will be allowed to leave her house to perform during a portion of that time.

Hill’s attorney says U.S. Magistrate Madeline Cox Arleo signed an order allowing the performer to leave her home to tour during the weeks of November 15th through December 31st. She must return back home on January 1st to complete the rest of her three-month home detention sentence.

There has not been an official announcement concerning dates or locations for the pending Lauryn Hill tour. The Grammy-winner recently released her latest song “Consumerism.”
