Eminem Releases “Rap God” From The Marshall Mathers LP 2

“I’m beginning to feel like a rap god”-Eminem

Eminem has three personalities and on his latest song from The Marshall Mathers LP 2 he employs over 10 different flows to express one message: he’s really REALLY nice.

Eminem is scheduled to perform at YouTube’s 1st annual Music Awards on November 3rd. His upcoming album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will be released on November 5th.

“Rap God” will be available on iTunes in the U.S. at midnight  ET.

  • scullyson

    Garbage

    • Sekou Garrett

      Obviously lyrics aren’t your thing.

    • Joe

I picture you saying that with one tear coming down your cheek while masturbating to your Drake CD. Your garbage.

  • CPrada Sophus

    Dope

  • gametime2013

He straight murder that track cant wait for mmlp2

  • scullyson

    deleted my comment ?….cool ..lol

  • LaurynHernandex

This song was trash. No concept just a bunch of rhyming to a rock beat,so how is it a sequel. He needs the bass brothers cause every 3 years he embarasses himself.

    • AK

no concept? you must be be slow its about trolling new rappers

      • LaurynHernandex

Nope. I looked at it and it has no message that is worthy of a third listen. He’s fallen off.

      • AK

thats why you dont get it you need to give it a few listens to fully comprehend what hes talking about especially if you dont understand the concept from the top…

      • LaurynHernandex

Nah,if it was any other rapper you’d agree, but no bias exist in me. My judgment is he’s fallen off.

      • AK

i dont judge on race or character i judge on the actual music and he def hasnt fallen far off , hes 90s raps are better but those are classics

      • LaurynHernandex

Nah, iyo it’s classic sounds like a rant from a 13 year old to me.

    • TheInfiniteToker

You’ve just proved that you are nothing but ignorant. To call Eminem trash, is to also insult the intelligence of all of the elite emcees who have praised him as one of the best. By your logic, Kool G. Rap didn’t know what he was talking about when he called Em Top 5, Rakim didn’t know what he was talking about, Talib Kweli didn’t know, KRS-One didn’t know, Mistah F.A.B. didn’t know, or Redman, Chuck D, Pharoahe Monch either right?

They have all claimed him to be either the best, or top 5. You have no valid argument you could use against the statements of legends and other elite emcees.

      • LaurynHernandex

Em called Redman & Kurupt the best alive…All you just typed means nothing because I can form my own opinion. Also I listen to none of them.

      • TheInfiniteToker

Then you obviously must be a YMCMB/MMG faggot.

      • LaurynHernandex

Someone doesn’t like Em so they like YMCMB? I notice how you were so quick to name them instead of Nas,Big L or Loaded Lux. Face it you only know 5 rappers 1.Eminem 2.Lil Wayne 3. Rick Ross 4.Drake 5. Niki Minaj and so you think if he’s better than them he’s better than the rest which is typical Stan logic. Lol you got your feelings hurt when you found out your rap god is just over hyped and average which appeals to 11 year olds.

      • TheInfiniteToker

I only know 5 rappers? The catalogue of artists in which I listen to are not anyone from the Cash Money/Young Money or MMG camps. I listen to shit like Tech N9ne, MF Doom, The Pharcyde, Scarface, Mobb Deep, Big L, Diabolic, La Coka Nostra, Necro, Ill Bill, Goretex, Rheteric Ramirez, Swollen Members, etc.

Why would you expect me to say you listen to Nas, Big L or Loaded Lux when you stated specifically that you do not listen to people like Kool G. Rap, Rakim, Pharaohe Monch, etc. The majority of people who say they don’t listen to that, listen to the YMCMB/MMG shit.

Ehhh, anothersong without a plot line just screaming and yelling saying how he can do something in multis. Not even better than relapse yet from the singles I heard. Every song of his use to have a story now he’s just rhyming multis. Boring

  • Guest

Ehhh, another song without a plot line just screaming and yelling saying how he can do something in multis. Not even better than relapse yet from the singles I heard. Every song of his use to have a story now he’s just rhyming multis. Boring

  • It sucks ass, now downvote me, tell me Eminem is too deep for me, I listen to Chief Keef and Im a racist.

wow most of you dont listen to lyrics at all , listen to the worldplay and what he talks about on this track its brain fuckery, its about trolling the new rappers, i can tell most of yall too slow these bars going over your heads.

    • Sekou Garrett

Thank you! He lyrically murders this song.

    • LaurynHernandex

Yeah, lyrics and metaphors are cool, but it’s still has no concept.

      • AK

the concept is hes a rap god to these new rappers

      • LaurynHernandex

Nah, he’s just a angry whiteboy

      • AK

you cant be angry when your the highest selling hip hop artist of all time you should try a new genre hip hop aint your thing

      • LaurynHernandex

lol I’m laughing at all the whiteboys thumbing you up.

      • AK

        your slow nuff said

      • LaurynHernandex

“You’re” Damn, you dumb as shit ain’t you boy?

  • NEWSKULL

I am sorry Guys he went in!… people expect him to be “till I collapse” type of shit… forget that… shit will never happen again… it is been a long time since I heard him on point like that… the flow match the beat and while listening to it I had to replay some shit back … y’all just can’t hate on that…

  • dee

he just gave fans 4 or 5 different styles and not one time did he mention anything about money, the club, buying the bar out, hoes, maybach, the trap, keys etc

    • TruthSerum

He didn’t mention much of anything of merit at all either, just a bunch of nothing. meaningless punch lines that arent clever or funny, dated pop references (nobody cares about Ray J marshall) and meaningless wordplay (Yackity Smackity Rappity …..STFU).

Back when Em had content worth hearing, he didn’t have to do 10 different flows in one song, the lyrics themselves were enough to hold your attention. Now, he has nothing to say so he over-compensates with the mechanics.

I dunno, dude was my favorite rapper at one point, from the time I heard My Name is up until the 8 Mile flick came out, everything since has been a downward spiral. His stuff now is so bad its unbelievable……. How a man can go from songs like “Stan” and “Lose Yourself” to this just confuses me. Everyone falls off eventually, but Em fell off a cliff, and just when you think he’s gonna hit bottom he drops even lower. SMH

      • dee

        o ok

      • LaurynHernandex

lol yeah why did he mention ray j? He lame

      • wtf

you realize that he used 10 flows on purpose to make fun of the hot rappers, kendrick flow schoolboy q flow absoul flow hosin flow a$ap flow… he sent shots at a bunch of people

I have always been a fan but my mom even like this one and she aint a fan. She says good music is good music no matter who it come from.

  • Brooklyn Stoop

eh…….. it sound better then the garbage he been coming out with for the last few years
to bad this is ONE song, if i can hear atleast 2 more good tracks then i will say he got back nice
but this song cant make me forget the wack ish he been doing and the excuses his fans like to make

  • Jonathan Bacher

I can understand that people like the song content wise but overal this just isnt pleasant to listen to.

    • LaurynHernandex

      Yeah,but Stans won’t accept it.

  • Divergent Viewpoint

When Eminem dies so does HipHop!

    • LaurynHernandex

lmao no it won’t. Em makes a album every few years and Kendrick and drake each sold a mil,Jay sold a mil,Cole at nearly 800,000,kanye at a mil,Plus everyone on the url is better than eminem.

      • Celz

Don’t take it too far lol

    • Brooklyn Stoop

i get it, your only allowed to listen to eminem music

    • Celz

He’s stupid for that shyt bro killed it.. I don’t really like the song too much but glad he spittin.. His last single was ass trash

  • JerZeBoy

Em does go off on some funny $hit a lot but that makes it funny/entertaining, better then hearing the whole I sell kilos and have the heaviest chain, etc……..cant deny he can keep it flowing though. People will say there is no substance to it, but lil Wayne’s music does? lmao

  • atlantahiphopshop

Let the over rating f*ckery begin. Stan, Your on. Here is your leader of the white dominant rap acceptance revolution. If he wants to impress me, he should make one of his comedy raps about how the 13-35 yr. old white kid makes him a god regardless of how corny he is, because they personally identify with him in more ways than one. His numbers have nothing to do with talent, hip hop is divided racially, and the whites have more money to waste on bullsh!t.

    • iamwhoiam

So if a black lyricist spit the same shit then what would be the problem? Also the whole “god” thing, he’s talking to aaaall these rap “kings” out there. His lastwords are “why be a king when you can be a god” like it or not that “white guy” can spit!

    • markeus

hes saying he is a rap god , not thee rap god. The whole song is him just showing how much he knows about hip hop and how he can do any flow. Hence all the old school hip hop shout outs. All the new school rappers only shout out people from the 90s and even Em himself . while ems inspiration in the game goes way back. no 13 year old would know half the references he makes . im sure you dont

  • Heart of a Slave, Blood of a k

Let me preface my comment by saying, his first major hit was “Hi, My name is”. I was like, what is this bullshit. I wanted something better representing Detroit. I didnt make the connection that he was the same dudes I heard rumblings about when I bought those rawkus record mixtapes back in the day. I thought he was a clown and didnt listen to him until “lose yourself”. Like Ja Rule and Nelly, their first mainstream song made me miss most of their career. With all that being said, I am on my 3rd time listening to capture all the nuances. It is a solid song and he seems to be crafting an album for hip hop heads.

Eminem went at this whole industry with this track, used all their flows against them… you can hear A$aP/meek mill flow in the beggining. Yelawolf flow, kendrick, schoolboy q, ab-soul, hopsin, tech 9, he went at everybody

  • Josh Sykes

Em killed the looking ass nigga beat. Y’all niggas should just stop hating now.

  • iamwhoiam

But what about that JJ fad “super sonic” flow??? Shit I must be the oldest head on this page! Lol
