“I’m probably in the top five n***as he did mention, so go and do your motherf**King research,” said Nicki, “I also feel like maybe he’s one of those respectful gentleman that probably felt like I don’t want to say a female’s name, or maybe he just don’t think the kid is ill.”

The other bars from “Control” that had many East Coast emcees jumping to reply to Kendrick where the ones where he named himself the “King of New York.” Being a Queens native, Nicki countered that statement with her own proclamation.

“I’m the Queen of New York. I’m the King of New York,” added Nicki. “Let me tell you why. Platinum albums. Plural. Number one in five motherf**king countries. Don’t play with me.”

The “Roman’s Revenge” rapper left one final half-jokingly response for her competitors.

“When you got an album that go number one in Japan, and the U.K., and Australia, and America at the same motherf**king time, and Canada, then you can speak my motherf**king name b*tch.”
