Daily Word: You can have it all….
reat morning my great people! Welcome to the best day of your life… Everyday!! Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to having it all. We live in the “now generation”… A time where adults and children alike are impatient and want everything instantly… In some short recent years (mainly because of technology) we have been conditioned to not have to wait for outcomes… If we want it, it appears that we can just have it! Contrary to what is being perceived, when it comes to success it does take some work and time… It’s not to say that you can’t have all that you desire, it just means that you are going to have to put in the work! Oprah said it best ‘You can have it all. Just not all at once.’ Many times we continue to ask for more opportunities when we haven’t even done anything with the ones we were given already! Stop overwhelming yourself! You can either give 20% to five things or 100% to one at a time! We live in an abundant world so you are never going to be short of opportunities! It’s great to envision your next step but make sure that you are concentrating on the task at hand and completing it to the best of your abilities! As Alexander Graham Bell once said “Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus.” Finish your breakfast! Live life to the fullest but remember take it one step at a time!!
“There are two kinds of people, those who finish what they start and so on”
“Winning isn’t always finishing first. Sometimes winning is just finishing.”
“No matter how long it takes, If you keep moving, One step at a time, You will reach the finish line…”
“One step at a time is good walking”
“When you have a great and difficult task, something perhaps almost impossible, if you only work a little at a time, every day a little, suddenly the work will finish itself.”
“A house is built one brick at a time. Football games are won a play at a time. A department store grows bigger one customer at a time. Every big accomplishment is a series of little accomplishments.”
-David Joseph Schwartz
“When we are sure that we are on the right road there is no need to plan our journey too far ahead. No need to burden ourselves with doubts and fears as to the obstacles that may bar our progress. We cannot take more than one step at a time.”
-Orison Swett Marden
