TREY SONGS AND NOONIE WARD TEAM UP TO HELP THE CHILDREN OF CHICAGO

(AllHipHop News) R&B star Trey Songz and Chicago businessman/activist Harold “Noonie” Ward have teamed up to help at risk youth this holiday season.

The celebrity singer and the local Chicago native will present the “Christmas In The Hood” annual toy drive.

According to Noonie, his relationship with Trey Songz started after the pair witnessed a violent altercation in Chicago together.

“He was in town when we saw some bs together where some kids got hurt,” Harold “Noonie” Ward told AllHipHop.com. “He said lets do something to help this these kids, so we both said at the same time ‘let’s do a foundation together.”

Trey Songz and Noonie hope to give away over 5,000 toys during the event, which will take place December 21 at the Chicago Youth Center (CYC) in Chicago.

A variety of celebrities and rappers will be in attendance, as well as members of the Chicago Bulls basketball team.

The event is still seeking toys for donation to be handed out.
