WATCH BEYONCE’S FULL Q&A FROM HER DIRECTOR’S CUT EVENT IN NYC

(AllHipHop News) After dropping her surprise “visual album,” Beyoncé screened the videos from the project at New York City’s School of Visual Arts Theatre. After playing the clips for the audience, the “Drunk In Love” singer answered a few questions submitted by her fans via Instagram.

Bey discussed the difficulty of keeping the project a secret, being inspired by Madonna, how motherhood changed her, her fear about how the project would be received, and what she wanted to accomplish with her BEYONCÉ album.

“My goal was not picking a number one single. My goal was putting together a body of work,” said Bey. “I just wanted to know if people cared about music, because honestly I was at a point where I felt like everything feels the same… If I could not challenge that, then maybe it was time for me to do something else.”
