(AllHipHop News) J. Cole celebrated his birthday in a big way yesterday (1/28). The Roc Nation emcee shocked the crowd at his “What Dreams Come True Tour” in New York City when his boss Jay Z popped out on stage for performances of “PSA” and “F**kWithMeYouKnowIGotIt.” HOV also presented Cole with a special birthday gift – his original Roc-A-Fella chain.

That was not the only surprise of the night. In case anyone thought Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse caused a permanent split between him and his friend J. Cole, the North Carolina native brought out the West Coast representative to squash any of those rumors. Kendrick was on hand to help run through Cole’s “Forbidden Fruit.” The Black Hippy member also goes into his good kid, m.A.A.d city track “Backseat Freestyle.”
