(AllHipHop News) Noted Hip Hop producer Pete Rock is celebrating Black History Month by releasing the “Roy Ayers Tribute Mix.” In honor of the legendary Jazz musician, Rock mixes nearly 40-minutes of tracks featuring samples from the Ayers catalogue.

The Pete Rock and Roy Ayers connection began several years ago. The two previously toured Europe together in 2011 after meeting at a New York City show that was also dedicated to the Vibrations creator.
It was during that trek overseas that the “Roy Ayers & Pete Rock” t-shirt emerged. The exclusive tee designed by 503 Collective is now available here.
