(AllHipHop News) NBA superstar LeBron James is putting his people on. TMZ reports the reigning league MVP helped his childhood friend, Sian Cotton, get featuring on the soundtrack for the NBA 2K14 video game.
Cotton is an aspiring rapper who had been trying to get his music on 2K14 on his own, but when he found out LeBron would be featured on the cover he thought about reaching out to his friend about the soundtrack.
Cotton says before he could contact LBJ, he got a text from LeBron that read, “‘I wanna get you on the game.” 
Eventually, Cotton’s “Almost Home” was selected as one of the tracks for the NBA 2K14 soundtrack. The soundtrack also features songs from Jay Z (“The Ruler’s Back”), Drake (“Started from the Bottom”), and Eminem (“Not Afraid”).
