The Financial Post reports Hip Hop band Aint No Love became the world’s first act to offer their album for sale using a Bitcoin feature on FrostWire. The Tears of Joy EP can be purchased via iTunes, or listeners can donate Bitcoin money to download the album from the file-sharing website.

“Using Bitcoin has definitely widened our reach to people who don’t necessarily listen to our type of music, but like that we get down with Bitcoin, and started listening to our music,” said lead singer Saidah Conrad. “Which is a cool thing in itself.”

Tears of Joy can also be purchased using Litecoin, Dogecoin, and PayPal. Those formats, along with Bitcoin, allow proceeds to go directly to the artist.
