The We The Best Music Group CEO spoke with MTV recently about his near decade long run of summer hits. According to Khaled, no one else in Hip Hop makes big records like him.

“Every summer’s mine. I’m the king of the anthems,” said Khaled. “It’s been seven summers. Now it’s going to be eight summers. Summer’s mine.”

The Miami-based DJ goes on to say he does music for the streets. He also addresses comments that he does not actually contribute to tracks like 2007’s “I’m So Hood,” 2010’s “All I Do Is Win,” 2011’s “I’m On One,” and 2013’s “No New Friends.”

“People think it just happens. It just don’t f**king happen,” Khaled said. “I make these f**king hits and put these f**king hits together. And make the biggest f**king anthems in the game.”
