(AllHipHop News) In the past month, most of the news surrounding Tha Carter V have been denouncing rumors of its impending arrival. Today (April 29th), Lil Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant took to his personal Twitter account to squash all the rumors regarding the album cover.

Last night, Kobe Bryant released a picture on his personal Twitter account that was rumored to being the cover of Lil Wayne’s final album Tha Carter V. After Lil Wayne’s official Facebook account confirmed it as the album cover, Cortez Bryant cleared that up:
The Image that was posted yesterday is NOT the #carterV album cover! It’s just to let the @LilTunechi fans know that CarterV Season is here!

A month ago, Bryant refuted claims that the album would be released on May 5th after Drake announced it would be on stage at a concert.
