KNOCKOUT NATION: Hip-Hop Discusses Floyd Mayweather Vs Marcos Maidana

This weekend, Floyd Mayweather will square off with Marco Maidana in a highly publicized and hyped fight that goes down in Sin City, Nevada. The undefeated Money May is an overwhelming favorite in this bout, but Maidana is expected to put up a spirited fight. Many experts speculate that the champ may actually knock out his opponent on his road to retirement. Knockout Nation hosted a conversation with Royce Da 5′ 9″, Glasses Malone, Andreas Hale and Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur, all boxing enthusiasts. Is Maidana already just another notch is Mayweather’s belt or does he have a punchers chance? Will these seemingly easy bouts tarnish the undefeated champion’s legacy? And what about Manny Pacquiao? Could age catch up to Floyd? These questions and more get answered in this live video chat.

  • Dope concept! Hip Hop Boxing again?

El Chino is going for the KO!

    Floyd better be ready!

    • LaurynHernandex

lololol Floyd got this in the bag. Whiteboys just aint ready. Floyd gon whoop is ass and get his dick sucked by a broad

      • El Chino ain’t a whiteboy!

He’s bringing the heat…even if he doesn’t bring the skills.

      • Celz

That he did.. Floyd prolly gonna celebrate this W at the house

      • Maybe Floyd was off, but El Chino had the Blueprint!

      • Swagavelli

What’s the blueprint come in 20 pounds over weight and just throw punches non stop. That didn’t work so what else will he do???

      • He won minimum, 4rds off any FloMo’s card, so, copy those 4rds.

Don’t let Floyd turn it into a chess match like he did from rd 7 on ( 7-12 = Shut out for Floyd )

The blueprint = to beat Floyd up.
Land that arcing “Right OVERHOOK” ( sorta like a reverse HOOKerCut, & go for the eight kidey, and bread basket / mouth of the stomach / diaphram, and attack the left / front shoulder armpit, right in front shoulder joint / ball & socket.

That will wear down Floyd’ jab, stamina & legs, which will inturn, allow the opportunity to land more body punches, possible some that score, because the armpit shot from a center axis will knock him off balance ( albeit for only 1/2 of a split second…but long enough for an akward shot to have the opportunity to land / develop.

Dela Hoya used the same tactic, off the jab, but he faded.
Floyd’s conditioning regime is incredible, so unless his opponents is even more incredbile….it won’t work, without a doubt, 90% of Floyd’s fights are won in the gym with superior conditioning and knowledge / studying.

Between Floyd Sr & Roger, Floyd’s mental application of the sport is superior to almost any other boxer….and that’s not even counting Jeff Mayweather’s help.

      • Swagavelli

Dude you cant have a real blueprint to something that hasn’t worked 46-0….He hasn’t gotten worn down or knocked off balance so its still just a hypothetical guess still…

      • Not true!

Judah & Mosely did both, Castillio outlanded him.
None could maintain due to conditioning.

This Ninja Floyd runs home after the club…

      • Swagavelli

Dude they lost at the end of the day, Whatever they did Floyd adjusted too and won the fight. So if you have a blueprint for 3 or 4 rounds that’s not gonna beat Floyd….

      • Yeah, winning the fight 1rd at a rime, like Floyd does…but you can’t beat Floyd unless he stops running home after the club….or you start!
