(AllHipHop News) Dame Dash is never one to refrain from commenting on Jay Z’s affairs. Earlier today (May 12th), Dame Dash sent out a seemingly subliminal message on his personal Instagram account to his former partner following the release of Jay Z and Solange’s fight footage.
Merely hours after news broke that Solange Knowles assaulted Jay Z in an elevator, Dash made sure to comment on Solange’s fighting talents on his personal Instagram account:
The subliminal shots between Dash and Jay Z have been numerous since the 2004 break-up of Roc-A-Fella Records. On Jay Z’s song “Thank You” from his 2009 album Blueprint 3, he remarked “Lucky lefty. kiss the wifey goodnight.” According to Beanie Sigel back in a 2009 interview with Power 99:
You took everything from him already. You took the clothing line. You took the record label. You took everything. He has nothing. Now he’s going through financial difficulties and gets divorced and then you feel that comfortable in a record to say, ‘Lucky Lefty, by the way kiss the wife good night for me.’ You already killed the man, he’s dead already. Now you gonna stand over top of him and urinate on him and stomp him.
Dame Dash’s ex-wife Rachel Roy filed for divorce in March 2009, six months before Jay Z’s Blueprint 3 was released.
