Mannie Fresh: "F*ck Master P" (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) Mannie Fresh let it be known how he feels about Master P at a recent show in Atlanta. The former Cash Money producer did not hold back on the No Limit Records founder after P and his label’s successful run of album sales were given a shout out during the set.

“F**k Master P. I don’t give a f**k about that I’m doing me.” Fresh told the crowd. “Yeah, I said it. Quote it. I ain’t gonna take it back.”

KLC of No Limit’s former in-house production team Beats by the Pound was also on hand at the event. Fresh made it clear he has no issues with KLC, just his ex-boss.

“I’m f**king with KL. I don’t f**k with P,” added Fresh. “I’m gonna tell you what I mean and mean what I say.”

  • trilltalk1

owe he gone see P, cause P gone come some him on some man to man face to face shit. Manny no better then that shit

  • Very Immature

Mannie Fresh is 45 born 20 March 1969 and Master P is 44 years old born April 29 1970. These two men are GROWN and both old enough to be some of our dads. I think if Mannie had a problem as a GROWN ASS MAN just Master P and talk. You guys are in hip hop so I know his number aint hard to find. I would expect something like that from my 15 year old brother. . .back 2

    • ItGoesDownINtheDM

folks in the industry dont be answering they phones … if they even have a personal phone to take calls lol

    • Whodi

This is why fresh dissing him, fresh stated a fact about P stealing “bout it bout it” from unlv which was a cashmoney group and P reply

“Man, let me explain something to you, Mannie Fresh was a producer, a beat-man; we really from the streets, man,” Master P said in an exclusive interview with HipHopDX at the time. “If it was any tension, why you gonna wait till now to say something? I never heard a U.N.L.V. ‘Bout It’ song. When you talk about ‘Bout It,’ you gotta pull that up; No Limit is ‘Bout It.’

“[With] all that, I think people need to be themselves instead of trying to sell newspapers,” he added. “I ain’t into all that, man. It’s not a gimmick for me, this for real. So, I wish him the best of luck, but I never talked to Mannie Fresh back then…don’t even know him like that. I always thought he was a great producer, and I think he should stay in his lane at that…And if you feel like it’s some bad blood over a record or something, c’mon man. [16] years ago you ain’t say nothing. You saying something now? So you must not be no real dude. ‘Cause if somebody took something from me, I’m going to see him.”

  • Killuminati

    no limit lol

  • Obi Won

So at a super producers Beat summit, Mannie Fresh decides to diss P. SMH, I see a vlad tv interview in a few.

    • GP

lol mannie going be doing that dance he did in the get your role on video, while p run around tawking bout its ughhhh on mannie fresh.

  • GP

Man Mannie Fresh dissed P because P did folks durty in the N.O. He had something to do with soulja slim, he got mac sent to jail for life, set mystical you for that rape wrap, let c murder go to jail. everybody that dealt with p either broke or dead. big ed- dead, soulja slim-dead, kane n able-broke, mystical-broke, mac-life in jail, etc, now ask yourself if klc was cool with p y not defend p?

    • Jah

I read the news stories. Slim was in deep before he got killed right on his moms doorstep, he was doing some dirt. That was some street shit. Mac got set up, but he don’t snitch. Watch the video of C trying to shoot up the club. But he should be out, his second case was B.S. but C kept it hood. Mystikal was stupid to take the plea, which sent him to jail for 6. Kane and Abel tried to keep selling dope instead of records. I’m a fan of southern music. The major problem is C, MAC, Slim, Kane and Abel never wanted to leave the streets. You got to get your paper then step away. P did that. I’m not going to say that I didn’t read that he fucked people over. I read some articles on that but rap music is part hustle game, part talent. Mystikal said that on an album himself. KLC trying to keep making music, on stage is no place to burn bridges. Its about money. Real dude do their business in the streets.

      • GP

my point if you the boss pay your workers don’t let me stay in the streets while you live like a king. if you recall slim dissed silk and krazy on make it happen to you ft juvi.

      • Carlos

I agree, but sometimes, these dudes dont put the time into the music, no work, no pay. Paying homies for doing nothing is why Hammer went broke.

      • Jah

        agreed.

      • GP

tru but no limit was droppin album like jordans. now slim he was in jail for robbery( that’s what they say) but my thing is this if I got a label and most of my rappers can sell ima do what I can to keep them outta trouble so they can make money and live good and I get money as well.

      • GP

hammer went broke because everytime he wanted money they told he cant touch this. this he hooked up with suge and you know the rest,

      • Jah

But Juv spent his career dissing soulja slim but not saying his name. Stealing his style and trying to blow. I don’t hate that grind its just irrelevant to have to dis someone to get famous or make money. Its sad that Slim is dead and no one really bumps Juvi. 400 degrees was the shit.

      • GP

naw souljs slim was on cashmoney before no limit. juv didn’t jack baby did. he told juvi run with the soulja stuff n lets see what happens

      • Brick Soulja

Magnolia Slim was never an artist on Cash Money.

      • Terrance Goodman

        Look it up he was

      • Brick Soulja

In one of his interviews, he acknowledged that he had the opportunity to be the second artist (after Pimp Daddy) to sign with Cash Money, but declined the offer and never signed.

      • Two_guns_Billy

What song Juvi Dissed Soulja on?Soulja Slim ran the magnolia and Juvi know that..

      • GP

bang bang. you not lying. magnolia slim to soulja slim. RIP brah.

      • Two_guns_Billy

Dude dont understand juvi was a rapper Soulja was a killer..Juvi would have got banned from N.O if he dissed Soulja..B.G wouldnt even have fucked with Juvi if he dissed Slim..

      • GP

banned? ha juvi would have been down bad asap. why you think baby always in Miami. if soujla slim was still alive a lot of n.o. rapper etc might be missin. just like when hurricane soulja slim flooded the n.o.

      • JT

Man chill out. Just stop talking bout this. You are wrong and you can’t get right

      • Just Me!

        TRUTH.

    • therealest1

I honestly don’t know the issues most of those artists you mentioned were involved in.

As much as I hate Master P’s music, I have to keep it realistic, Soulja Slim was deeply involved in dirt that got him killed despite the fact he was in the rap game long enough to make a better life for himself. It was his choices that led to his death.

Mystikal was plain beyond retarded, below asinine, astronomically stupid for incriminating himself raping his hairdresser by taping it! Master P had nothing to do with him setting himself up to get 6 years, it was his own stupidity!

C-Murder just had a pattern of violent acts and even got caught on surveillance footage firing a gun into a group of people. It was his ignorant indiscretion that led to him having a lifelong vacation behind metal bars.

    • W.$.G.T.$

P may have done his dirt, BUT let that man live. It ain’t all about what u sayin bruh. P ain’t accountable for every grown ass mans lives just because he fucked with em at some point. A lot of street shit was going on & when u at the top, u gotta do what u gotta do for u and your fam. Don’t judge the man because people who he was once down with ain’t on P’s level. Every man is accountable for they own.

      • GP

im not putting it all on p, im just saying if I run a business im not about to bring in some folks I know that’s still in the gutta to make money when I know they not going leave the gutta. my thing is this p was the boss, you know these dudes wild so why even deal with them just to cut em loose. that’s crazy. I wouldn’t have had them around if I knew they couldn’t bring that long paper in. p living hell good from what I saw in his recent pics. everybody is accountable for they own but if you got a hard head kid you wanna help you going see fit you do you best you not going be like ima help then when they cut up just leave em hanging.

    • Shut the fuk up nigga, niggas mad p got out the hood and got rich

      • GP

p some garbage. he didn’t want them problems with no one. dude went from gangsta rapper to producing what kid books. now how og is that! I gotta go to parole meeting you sapsuckas be easy!

    • Brick Soulja

      Stop being a liar.

    • JT

      You sound real silly.

  • Jah

Thats funny because KLC didn’t really say anything, not much at all, the crowd had some lightweight boos about it and you can constantly hear a dude saying FREE MAC and FREE C-MURDER. Real dudes mess with C, MAC, and P. You can’t hate on P’s grind he was one of the ones who made the South popular nationwide in the 90s. He had the best deal and thats why he is rich. If it wasn’t for him Pastor Troy and Cash Money would have to stand on their own and not have this pseudo beef with him or No Limit. Rap is the only genre of music where dudes can’t stand on their own and they have to beef with someone. You don’t see that in other genres. Just do you and keep other grown folks names out ya mouth. MAKE GOOD MUSIC OR SHUT UP. Let your work speak for itself. Manny makes hits, P makes hits that the bottom line. Master P is classic South Music. I will always get down with real people.

    FREE C-MURDER
    FREE MAC

    • GP

man pastor troy we ready I declare war a classic. Atl boo mannie fresh after p went at troy. show why they call them the GayTL

      • GP

one more thing listen to pimp c’s hogg in the game, he dissed the shit outta p, nigga aint had a hit since I sold em break em off. who did a song called break em off in the early 90’s! hmmmm.

      • Jah

I don’t know. It’s hard to say if P had a hit after that, but he still pushed mad albums. Ghetto D 3x Plat. Last Don 4x Plat, 2 Golds after that. UGK is dope but never had a Platinum album. TRU went 2x Plat. and 504 boyz was gold. We all know: Make em say Uhh, Wobble Wobble, I miss my homies, Them Jeans, We Like Them Girls, and I’m Bout it, Bout it. If people don’t know them tracks, they just missed out on the golden age of southern rap. P helped smash the doors open for a way of artists not just the ones on his label. Don’t forget the soundtracks, callabos with Jay-Z, Snoop, Bone Thugz, Nas, Jermaine Dupri, Rick Ross, Game. Yo Gotti, etc. I can’t hate on that as a fan of music, let alone the south. I remember the glory days of the 90s southern rap takeover. Everybody was bumpin it :whites, blacks, mexicans, rich, poor, everybody. Now people tryin to act like P is nothing. He is still grindin independently like he was before. Still making checks, still making bootleg movies, but he is just richer than the other dudes grinding.

      • GP

P had some hits I cant like abou that. the last don only sold because he said it was his last album, after the last don. P went double copper, but ugk didn’t need to sell records they had respect and still do, cant say the same for p. now that song meal ticket with 8 ball and mjg went in for sure

      • Jah

half of UGK is dead. I still like their music. Respect from who? Fans who don’t understand the game or the industry. The industry had to pay P. He owns his music and he had an 85/15 deal with 100 percent ownership of his masters. How many artists can say that. Its about money. This is his job, not a hobby, it aint about how many fleas love you. It’s about how many real dogs are in your camp. I’ll take 3 real dudes over a bunch of fleas trying to get a meal but only know how to street hustle and not hustle in the corporate world. How many others can say they can really hustle in the corporate world. A handful. Jay-Z, Kanye, Cube, Dre, 50, Em, and P. Probably left a few off the list but everyone else is just bottom feeders. These dudes do clothing, music, movies, own businesses, and/or movers and shakers. This is their job and they are Professionals at it. Other cats are just hot rappers, and they will be gone, but we all know of or heard of SeanJohn, PhatFarm, Beats, and know the rappers from their movies or tv ventures. Who’s going to work with a dude named Fiend, Mo.B. Dick, C-murder. Seriously they need better stage names if they want to expand or learn to love where they are going to be. Nikki Minaj is marketable not Pimp C. Thats the industry we have here and why she is on TV even though she can’t really rap.

      • Jah

        RIP Pimp C

      • GP

Hold up Pimp c not marketable? ha James Jones marketable, Nikki Minaj not marketable, I mean if you like the way I lady has to dress a certain way to sale then kudos to you. that girl is trash she couldn’t even touch mia-x nor gangsta boo. I mean you have some point but all in all no limit wasn’t build with real dogs. the realest in the no limit camp were c mac n soulja the rest were just fill ins. p didn’t catch a charge until his music stopped being hot. Gay-z stole his way, diddy milked folks. p did the same, the only real ones u named were cube, dre, and em. 50 shady as well.

      • Jah

If you can’t picture a Late Night Talk show host, or Daytime Show for that matter saying “Introducing our next guest Pimp C” then he’s wasn’t marketable. That goes for any artist. Whether you personally like them doesn’t matter. Names like Eminem, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Master P, P. Diddy, and Kendrick Lamar sound more marketable.

      • GP

lls late night talk show host thou. lol

      • John Williams J-Dub

idk who were fill-ins but the top dawgs was Murder, Silkk, Snoop, Mystikal, and Mia X….everybody else was fill-ins but Mac, Fiend, Soulja Slim, and Mr Magic was up next imo

      • JT

This a old hit and miss ass discussion. Lot of good points, but some of yall just off, period. I can write a book on this conversation so its hard to keep it short and sweet, but thats what Im gon do…top dawgs?? Mystikal—none of the others can compare. He held it down for several albums and many callabos. Its a lot easier to do one or two good albums. Can you keep puttin out real shit?? Mystikal was the top dawg. Silk?? Not even in the discussion! I almost dont even want to talk to you after you let Silkk name come out your mouth second on that list. Him and Mr. Serv On should have just been hype men. Okay so after Mystikal, I gotta say MAC. The nigga was raw, but he didnt have enough work to really put him in the same category with Mystikal. But I gotta give him number 2. Then C-Murder came along later in the game. It took him a minute to catch his flow but he grew into his own. Snoop…I dont even consider him No Limit. That was like a temp job for him and he was out of his element the whole time. That wasnt a good fit. Kinda like LeBron goin play in the D-league. So I gotta throw Mia X in there next. She could be the best female rapper of all time if you wanna be real about it. And she can sing her ass off….Soulja Slim was cool, but he was more of a Cash Money kinda nigga. Fiend, Mr. Magic…they were not professional rappers. They had some good songs, which if you compare the good to the bad its obvious that they were getting help with their good. So in a nutshell; Mystikal was the top dawg. Then you had MAC Slim and Mia. Mystikal was another level from all the rest of them. If he didnt go to jail when he did….Mystikal was about to blow up! He would have did for No Limit what Lil Wayne did for Cash Money. ———All that other nonsense yall talking, looka here. Imma just say some names and yall can connect the dots…..L.L.Cool J, Eazy-E, Scarface, Luke, Diddy, Master P. #gamechangers

      • Just Me!

WHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY hasn’t ANYONE liked this… Let alone EVERYONE?! 100% Truth.

      • trilltalk1

if i am not mistaken and i am a fan of Pimp C music. but i think P put hands on him back in the day. Lil J had to step in to keep that from getting ugly for Pimp C.

      • trilltalk1

        Lil J is J. Prince

      • GP

he stepped in because he knew p would get tossed up. not saying it did or didn’t but ima look that one up.

      • GP

pimp didnt get paid by p….

pimp ran his mouth….like he always did…p had pimp grown man napped…p goons pistol whipped em….p called j prince..to see if he would give the ok…

j prince was pissed off..n warned p…if somethin happen to pimp outside of the ass whuppin….all hell would break loose….

c-murder wanted to gone n do it..on some why we gotta ask for a ok fukk these nikkas…but p respect lil js gangsta…pimp was still talkin shyt…lol..n c threaten kill mama wes pimp momma..

they let em go…out of respect for lil j….he didnt want them 5th ward problems…i remember back when this shyt was goin on….it felt world war 3 was bout to happen…all the new orleans d-boys stop comin to the nawf for work n everything…

      • Obi Won

I remember that time period, then later on, when Pimp C got out of jail, he would shout out Master P a lot for doing his thing

      • P.

This is correct. P had Pimp C in a trunk because of his goons lol. And this is coming from a fan of both No Limit and UGK but

P deserves his respect in the game because he was the first to do a lot of the stuff you see artists doing today. P also messed over a lot of his artists as well as the industry so that’s the reason why he has been blackballed and can’t get back on. I saw someone say that P owns his masters. That is incorrect. Beats By The Pound owns the masters to No Limit. P didn’t pay them like he was supposed to so they sued and won.

As far as Mannie Fresh is concerned, if it is one person from the NO that can say F P and got the music clout (and street clout) to back it up it’s Mannie Fresh. Most underrated producer of ALL TIME

        .

      • Brick Soulja

It was C Murder and his goons.

      • Brick Soulja

Yeah, but C Murder and his boys put Pimp in the hospital for that. They beat his ass at a show in Texas.

    • Terrance Goodman

Still bumping murda murda kill kill kill

      • Jah

        Thats whats up.

      • GP

        yes sir

    • Two_guns_Billy

C murder wont snitch and locked up over something another rapper thats dead did..Thats what I heard

      • MR..ASS..TO..MOUTH..

c-murder is locked up for shooting a gun into a crowded nightclub which killed somebody .they got it on video

      • Mike

another person who doesn’t know shit . The video your referring to that went viral online When C-Murder discharged his gun after being denied entry into a club was a different incident no one died or got shot that night. C-Murder was found guilty of shooting a teenager inside a club after a rap battle took place.

      • t1m3b0mb

tell em! ppl can’t do their research but quick to act like they know

      • Brick Soulja

      • Terrance Goodman

  • Pastor Troy timing was perfect…but he should did that “No Mo Play In GA”…That was MY SH!T!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Master P laughing from his beverly hills mansion, meanwhile i just heard some of p’s new music that shit the truth

  • Brick Soulja

Bitch Fresh thought he was more important than he really was. He really thought that Cash Money was going to fall off after he left them. It must have hurt his pride that they sold more albums after he was gone.

  • John Williams J-Dub

it wasnt a serious diss to me imo….

  • Terrence Rbg Warren Sr.

I skimmed through some of the comments and I see one thing in particular that was not mentioned. Mannie Fresh produced for Mac on his first album “The Lyrical Midget”. When Mac first got locked Master P stated that he had the late Johnny Cochran on the case. Magnolia Slim or Soulja Slim to some stated this on the song he had with B.G. titled- not my dawgs. I believe that’s where some of the angst comes from in my opinion. I am a fan of both though.

    • Two_guns_Billy

You heard that boosie and c-murder song?c-murder going at P a lil bit on it…
