SHERIFF’S OFFICE: COLORADO SHOOTING INVOLVING SCHOOLBOY Q WAS NOT RANDOM

(AllHipHop News) Top Dawg Entertainment emcee Schoolboy Q was involved in a shooting that took place outside the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado on Thursday night.

While Schoolboy was not harmed after shots were reportedly fired into a SUV, three other people in the vehicle were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities believe the incident was not a random act.

“This is not just a coincidence. We think there is probably more to it than that,” stated Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Jacki Kelley. “It does seem to be more targeted than random.”

The shooting took place in the parking lot outside Red Rocks, but the victims managed to drive into Denver where they were stopped by police. Schoolboy and another uninjured person were briefly detained by officers at the scene, but no one in his entourage was arrested.

The three suffering from gunshot wounds were eventually taken to Denver Health Medical Center. One victim has already been released.

No arrests have been made as of yet, but authorities claims to have received numerous tips about the incident. According to reports, police are looking for a man armed with a rifle. It is still unclear if Schoolboy was the target of the attack.

“We’re trying to identify and locate the suspect,” said Kelley.
