KENDRICK LAMAR STOPS BY EBRO IN THE MORNING

While discussing his upcoming sophomore effort, K. Dot said it may be more raw than his debut album, good kid,m.A.A.d city.

“It’s a little more dirty with the live dirty drums…We’ll see how it comes out.”

No big name producers on this one. Mr. Lamar said he’s sticking with his same in house producers, like Tae Beast, Thundercat and Sounwave.

After receiving mixed reviews on his new single, “i,” the good kid revealed that he wrote the song for two types of people.

“I hit Top Dawg and told him I wrote a record for people who’s in the penitentiary right now. I wrote a record for these kids that come up to my show with these slashes on their wrists saying they don’t wanna live no more. It’s serious.”
