Unload Your 401K teamed with No Guns Allowed to launch the campaign. Snoop has been working with the anti-violence movement around the country. The Doggystyle album creator also released a song titled “No Guns Allowed” featuring Drake and Cori B.

“How I’ve been affected by gun violence over the years is through deaths of friends and family members and associates,” states Snoop in a public service announcement for the campaign. “I’m unloading for the loved ones that I’ve lost.”

NBA player Matt Barnes, NFL player Bobby Wagner, The League Of Young Voters‘ Dr. Biko Baker, and actress Margot Bingham appear in the video as well. The goal of the #ImUnloading campaign is to bring awareness to the fact many 401K plans help finance the gun industry and hopefully convince people to divest from those companies.

“There is a straight line from gun industry investment to gun industry profits to funding of the NRA,” states Jennifer Fiore, executive director of Campaign to Unload. “Half the value of these companies comes from mutual funds and most of the ‘investors’ in these funds have no idea they are inadvertently part of the problem. Now they can be part of the solution.”
