Joe Budden: Meek Mill’s Music Is Too Hard For Him To Act So “Sappy” Around Nicki Minaj (AUDIO)

JOEY DISCUSSES MEEK’S RELATIONSHIP & ALBUM SALES

(AllHipHop News) Joe Budden seems to have an issue with how Meek Mill is handling his relationship with Nicki Minaj. During his “I’ll Name This Podcast Later” episode, the Slaughterhouse member addressed Meek and Nicki. He pointed to the couple’s highly memed appearance at the 2015 BET Awards where Meek came off as awkward to some observers when he was around Nicki.

Budden stated:

Part of my problem with that is that Meek’s music is too hard. Meek’s music is too hard for me to look at him with this f*cking sappy f*ck sh*t. Be the hardcore guy that I’m sure she was attracted to at some point. It’s nasty. I hate everything about it. I’m glad a dark-skinned guy is behaving this way. Light-skinned n*ggas, we’re not moving like that…

Light-skinned guys, we’re used to getting the bad b*tch. He’s like this b*tch just stepped off a f*cking Mars and is the only girl. Oh my God, I just hate it all. But I do appreciate them both keeping the hope of love alive.

The “Pump It Up” rhymer also discussed Meek Mill’s decision to release his latest album Dreams Worth More Than Money early. Budden then predicts DWMTM will sell between 140,000 – 160,000 copies first week and the project will not top the first week sales of Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise.

Sean’s third studio LP pushed 173,000 equivalent album units in its initial week. Dreams Worth More Than Money is projected to sell around 200,000 equivalent album units opening week.
