  • chae phillip

Yo drake bodied meek..two diss records for that ass…why did meek do this to his self….what a dumb dumb!!!! #OVO

  • faded2easily

    couple zingers but still trash

  • lando

Dam Drizzy. That was tight though, wasn’t expecting that one. Meek got about 24 hours to reply.

  • Vega Diamond

meh….. its getting better … definitely better than that last one… but don’t forget meek use to battle i’ll hold off until i hear his response. #AutoMusOgraphy 10/20 buy it

    • Banksy

Man stop! Post one single hip hop quotable from Meek. One punch line. One dope lyric from the nigga.

      • Dark Matters

“Hater rest in peace. Hater rest in piece.”

      • Banksy

        I rest my case.

      • Dark Matters

LOL I actually don’t listen to his music. So, I wouldn’t be able to tell you.

      • Banksy

Sounds like something he would be yelling though

      • Dark Matters

Oh that is something he said in the famous “intro” song. I meant that I don’t know his catalog well enough to really hit you with his quotables.

      • NCcatsBALLhard

        Check, check, check 8x

    • Man who did meek battle back in the day? He was a YouTube rapper!

    • Dope

Yeah, let’s wait for his tweets..

  • Banksy

Meek is letting his dumb ass fans hype into getting the Ja Rule treatment. I’m not a Drake fan by any stretch of the imagination but that said Drake is clearly the better over all artist compared to Meek. Honestly real Hip Hop heads know that Meek was Ethered by that RAID Cassidy sprayed. It’s just these new niggas who ignore lyrics and count other niggas money who thought different.

    • THE.

True…. Meek use that ole he broke excuse on Cassidy when he got murked and his fans ran with it, he can’t use the same excuse with drake.

  • THE.

‘Trigger finger turns to Twitter fingers’- 😂😂😂😩😩. Hahahaha poor rahmeek!

    • Isa Ibn Maryam

      Classic.

  • Speechless. 🔰🐭👟

  • Jama

One…maybe two good lines. But enough to be winning against someone who ain’t rapping back.

  • Markus

Even though I’m going to question Aubrey’s pen skills from now on,whoever wrote this went in a little more than the first diss track. Your move,Meek.

  • Juleo478

I drove here in the wraith playing AR AB.

Everybody calls AR’s name when there is an problem in Philly.

If AR finds an comfy couch and starts talking for 40 mins it’s over for meek.

    • Hussle

LMAO u know Vlad callin AR this early at 7am for an interview

    • ItGoesDownINtheDM

      lmao good 1

  • MassConglom

I was supporting Meek on his no ghostwriter policy on other threads but if this dude is putting out 2 diss tracks (and called it Back to Back even, lol) before you can even issue your response diss track… smh. This really pains me but even though I didn’t like Charged Up, I have to say Drake is up 2-0 in this beef. You need to drop something RIGHT NOW Meek or your finished. #DoNotTweetYourResponseEither

    • FRUKOH

Meek already finished from the start

  • Gap Tooth Bruce

This how I know Meek was on to something with ghostwriter thing Drake Spazzing! Meek gotta go in Now no choice where dem Barz at boy boy?

    • THE.

😂😂😂😂😂. Meek fans be like!! Meek tried to be a bully got snuffed. The END.

  • Brooklyn Stoop

wow…………nagas must be thirsty as phuck for a rap beef to be hype off these weak ass disses. this diss was better then that charged up but that aint saying much…………charged up was chico gabage…………. this one is only slightly better……….
on another note…………i heard that SB diss track (lmao) and is it me or did SB pretty much say that he knew drake dont write either and aint say ish but when meek found out he ran his mouth like a bish……….. or was he talking bout something else?

    In Black AMerica…..Coming Soon

  • The Arsonist

No Vaseline and Ether. Still top Diss records. This is Charmin compared to them.

    • and don’t forget “I See The Bitch In You”…

      • TheAfroRican

Word….and to top it off, Common had spit that diss record in LA.

    • RespectA

The bitch in you was mean too. The bridge is over. It’s some bangers out there.

      • The Arsonist

        yup

    • Tim

Ether was mostly fictional. Is that your chick, now that’s a diss track

  • El Jeff

Is that your world tour, or your girls tour?😂😂😂😂😂 Drake won already

  • truthhurts

ROBERT CHARLES “Carnival of Fury” check that out for a real battle worth knowing about.

  • this is the Quentin Miller version

  • True_Fan

Drake should release one more track before Tweet Mill and call it 3 PEAT.

  • gurdyghost

More soft wack on wack crime.

  • A.P. Millz-CT

Shout out to my boss b*tches wifing n*gga$!!! Lmaoooooooooooooooooooo

  • jacksjus

Trash. But I guess he’s winning since Meek has done nothing but talk.

  • DaRealist Gemini Ever

Every rap battle is different you can’t compare classic battles for what’s going on now both of these guys are virtually new to the game that’s not really enough material to go hardcore like others have done in the past I mean when cannabis ripped LL Cool J he has over a decade of stuff to go out lol with like I said every rap battles different I’m impressed so far even Safari shock me at the end of his diss because the beginning was garbage but then when he started going towards the end he killed it

    • jacksjus

I think the difference was back in the day those rappers made sure that their diss records were music first. This is why you can still enjoy Hit Em Up and Ether to this day.

These diss tracks of late are a one time listen at best.

      • DaRealist Gemini Ever

I’ve been listening to hip hop since it was created I’m talking back to the seventies when early dissing started happening in hip hop to me it was all about what you said about the person only time people have made it into or less make a hot track also a hot dish in my opinion I’d rather hear somebody go hard lyrically I don’t worry too much about the B but more people seem to be concerned about the beat than actual dick to me hip hop or rap battles for that matter is about the wrapping I don’t really care about the track but I do understand what you mean because if I diss track has a good beat you can still bump it I know I still play ether

      • BDB

Bruh, let us get a period. If not, at LEAST a comma.

  • Appalled Revere

    Ouch.

  • MikeRotch_og

Meek sound just like his girl cryin’ about Drake’s credibility. You remember Nikki being super-salty and talkin’ shit about Iggy at the awards?

I gotta be honest, tho…….this diss track sucks. The only part that was good was “Shoutout to all my boss-bitches wifin’ niggas!” That shit was funny AF

  • El Dogga

Drake treating Meek like you suppose to do a bully…..walk right up to him and bust him in the mouth!

LOL Meek a “gangsta” and all he doing is tweeting….Drake on the other hand is steadily firing off diss tracks. Now this song is wayyy better than the first; the first was subpar. But who you gonna start beef, and not have no tracks in the tank???

That’s what’s wrong with fools now these days. Everybody wanna talk big online but there is NO TYPE of action with those words!

    Drake 2 Meek 0

    and I don’t like either one so I’m non-bias!

    • Dope

Fully agree, never liked either of them and that first track was weak, but this one is straight up battle murder (at least in this day and age, it ain’t Ether, Hit Em Up or No Vaseline).

      • You hit the nail on the head when you said “at least in this day and age” because this is weak. Today’s rappers can’t even make a decent diss record.

      • Dope

Didn’t want anyone thinking I’m really comparing this one to the others I mentioned, people are easy to misinterpret so had to clear it up. The game is just on a much lower level today.

      • lmao. Yeah you know how sensitive dudes get in the comments sections of websites. Lol.

      • Tim

Definitely not no vaseline. That was rugged

      • TheAfroRican

Can’t forget “The Bitch In You” track. Common murdered HO’Shay, WC, and Wack 10.

      • El Dogga

Exactly! In these days Lamar’s “Control” verse shut the internet down. These aren’t real diss tracks. They don’t even say the persons name these days.

  • Montezuma1

“Trigger fingers turn to twitter fingers. Getting bodied by a singing nigga.” lmao

    • Done!!!!

    • that dude

He had a lot of pretty dope lines. I was driving my girl to work this morning and that shit came on we both had a nice couple of laughs at those punch lines. My girl was kinda shocked like wow, this dude going in right now. And she does not like Drake one bit, or even Meek either.

  • ytgarner

Meek kill this dude this shit weak….

    • Dope

He’s about to shoot some shit.. on twitter.

      • ytgarner

If he do I’m done. Drake sound like he rappin with the kids at the breakfast table.

      • that dude

        Hahaha…

  • chosenxeno

It doesn’t matter at this point. Even if he blackballs Meek out of existence he will never be considered amongst the greats now. He’s basically been knocked down to Iggy Azeala tier lol. Fake pen game having fraud.

    • Palm Beach B&R

“This for the ones who think I don’t write enough” that man ain’t been knocked down ain’t no proof to the ghost writing

      • Shawn Williams

Wat u want Jesus , budda or Allah to show u he got da holyghost writer, dats not going to happen, do u know wat a reference track is, didnt u hear da qm version to da song drake being question about dog, do u know wat a 16 bar is, do u know who ya dad is, if i prove ya dna matches ya dad, will u accept dats ya dad, i doubt it,no disrespect but dayumm boy u da dumbest on here, I myself have a favorite rapper but if dat fuk get expose on some shit, it mite hurt but dayum I’m not going to keep defending him on wat da fuk he got caught doing, especially when shit is evident, reference track n shit, wat da hell is he doing playin wit his fans emotions lol

      • Palm Beach B&R

Do you know how many tracks drake has since he dropped ima need more than 1 reference track

      • Shawn Williams

Do u know how many ghostwriter drake had since he drop, u don’t need more than dat…..go n listen to Charla Magne flex donkey of da day, then u will know wat to expect n not to expect. I tell u one thing tho, whoever sitting on those other reference track bout to get paid to b silent

      • Palm Beach B&R

Crazy thing is I’m not even a drake fan but I hate unnecessary hate or assumption this man has a huge body of work and people want to crucify the man from 1 track do you know what really goes on in the industry situations come up with tracks here and there all the time so I can’t dit here and condemn a man from one track when he’s given top hit after top hit with bars above damn near the whole game people need reality checks this probably the same people who believe whatever the news tell em you believe half of what you hear! Facts is truth backed up by a body of evidence this ghostwriter shit is hearsay and one reference track is not enough to cement drake has a ghostwriter

      • Shawn Williams

Nah bruh, even tho i understand where u coming from wit it, this shit drake getting accuse for ain’t nuttin new bruh, shit is greater than drake, this ghost written business is huge, record companies need ghost writers, even niggas dat do beats, take other ni66as shit, nuttin new, ya problem is u tryin to figure this shit out, not ya job to do so. Just how da game goes, ni66as write for other ni66as all da time, no one us sayin drake can’t write some shit to have nodding yur head, dats not wat being discuss here, all I’m sayin is, drake is one of many pop artists dat don’t mine gettin a complete song from others here or there, why u can’t c it for wat it is bruh, get ya feelings out n step bak n observe

      • Palm Beach B&R

Trust bro I know I worked in the business NOBODY in the game who they are what I’m saying is if there is no concrete proof to see or listen available until then you believe the body of work this an outlook with no feelings bro I’m a fact base man you are innocent until proven guilty I can’t go off what might of happened I need the evidence to prove and one track is not enough give 20 30 reference tracks that match drakes hits or songs with the date created on the drive people jus look for ways to not like someone without finding out All the evidence. Biggest problem is Meek brought attention to something that’s all through out the game for lower tier artists and some big artist Meek to chill on his rants cause people con run with what he say even if he ain’t take the time to have concrete evidence to go with what he said its still all here say

      • Shawn Williams

In dat case it’s nuttin else I or anybody can say or do to convince u, wat u don’t understand for someone who claim they been n da industry, is dat when u ghost write for a top artist or artist n general, u want dat on da low, u don’t want it out there, dats how u make ya money. Once it’s put out there ya money stops. Can u atleast agree to dat wat I just said, assuming u a real ni66a

      • Palm Beach B&R

        Who they say they are

  • RayStantz

Not impressed with these first two tracks… This shit is the equivalent of slap boxing. Meek needs to respond now though.

    • Shawn Williams

Meek no to come at dat ni66@ qm neck, not drake……drake da messnger, qm da writer lol, these rap new ni66@$ softer than jello

  • Weak??? You must be new to rap how old are you ?? 11

    • Lou Velazquez

This shit is weak im sorry but if yall niggaz think this is a good diss record go back and do your homework on real dis records not this weak shit foh

      • STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN

Nigga diss records back in the day were on some real murderous shit from real niggas . Dont expect the same these days ! So enjoy this shit .

      • real niggaz dont rap.

      • Shawn Williams

Dats a lie, rapping came from real ni66@z,real struggles, real life, but fake ni66as took it ova n made all da money

      • Shawn Williams

        Miss dat shit

      • Lou Velazquez

Enjoy what ???This trash this is like two females cat fighting miss me with this shit lol

      • chosenxeno

He had a couple of good ones in there but it wasn’t nothing crazy lol. Here’s what I think. I think the bomb comes on Drakes Album. Meek is probably going to nrespond. Then Drake will stay quiet up until release week. A new diss will come. A diss that’s on “Views From The 6”.

      • Shawn Williams

Tell these lil fuk boys, they don’t know wat a dis record sound like, shit got me weak to comment for real

  • Palm Beach B&R

Drake meant for charged up to be sub par it was a ⚠ warning! Meek went on stage said some bitch shit now Drake dropped Back to Back but trust drake got a headshot killer in the chamber “if I hear another one I got another one you still ain’t replied to da othrr one” meek should save himself apologize and save his career he on the verge of extinction at the hands of a singing nigga

    • Shawn Williams

Drake or qm, who u said got da head shot waiting

      • Palm Beach B&R

Drake got da head shot in the chamber that man ain’t got no ghostwriter ain’t no evidence don’t give 1 reference track when Drake got a whole body of work with numerous billboard hits no evidence no guilt

      • Shawn Williams

Nah , he got of body of work from a body of ghost writers, answer this player player, if ya girl gets caught wit a dick n her mouth, dont u want to know who else dick she been suckin besides dat one dude, or r u gonna say, my girl is bad, she only got caught wit one strange ni66@; dick n her mouth, real talk, dont matter one , two , three…drake got expose, he’s not da only rapper using ghost writers player player.I still like most of his music, dats ad far as it goes, as far as him being da brain behind it all, dats a no no, fact, dat boy drake took a whole 16, no one does dat, I know it hurts but fuk it, he did wat he had to do to get paid, dat some guirrela shit for a soft cat lol

      • Palm Beach B&R

Tell me this player player if you was on trial for serial killer wouldn’t you expect them to have video evidenceevidence fingerprints murder weapon footprints all the evidence that is needed to link you to every single one! Speculation playboy will never be facts until you can show and prove facts

      • Shawn Williams

They only need one murder wit evidence to convict u bruh, u doing time, same as drake, got caught wit one reference track, it’s like a gun wit body on it, another ni66@ fingerprint on it but its n ya possesion, somebody going to jail, who is it going to b. Drake or qm, u choose

  • B.U.

Drake surprised me on this one. He was direct and to the point. He got Meek out here pump fakin.

  • that dude

Ok, this is what the “Charged Up” shoulda been. I think he put Charged Up out to see what Meek was gonna come with. Meek took to long then started poppin’ shit at a show then Drake bombed on him. If Meek doesn’t drop some Ether or Takeover type shit first time out, It’s a wrap. Drake might not have to respond anymore, or he can put the nail in the coffin’ with one more heater and just end it.

    • Dope

If Meek doesn’t respond with a song it’s over anyway, Drake wins by default.

      • chosenxeno

Drake wins but he still loses.

      • Dope

Drake definitely wins, I’ve seen your other comment and you just seem to be hating, and this coming from someone who hates Drake and what he brought into the game.
He didn’t have any respect from rap fans anyway, and his rnb fans don’t care about who writes the songs, so in this case he can only win some respect like he just did from me, and a few others I’ve seen in comments who also aren’t fans of his but recognize he did good so far in this beef.

      • chosenxeno

Hating how? This is nothing special. I even said I liked the “Singing Nigga” line. His fans don’t care but he does.

        “Last name greatest/First name ever”

He told you what he was hear for.

All the money in the world won’t fill the hole.

      • Dope

That’s what every rapper wants.. nothing special there. You hating because you can’t accept that he is winning here so you must make it salty. As I said I hate this guy, only ever heard three songs in full and two of those are Charged Up and this one.
But even with that I can give respect where it’s due, and in this battle Drake, who is ”the softest in the game” comes out charging and ”street” rapper Mills hides behind his twitter account.

      • STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN

You just hating bitch and THATS THE BOTTOM LINE…

  • chosenxeno

LOL I do like the “you gettin’ body by a Singing Nigga line”. He basically turned his greatest weakness into a strength that was actually the best song in the rhyme because it’s stategic. I didn’t like the “Wifin” line that much. I can’t get with criticizing people for being affectionate. If Nicki wants to look out for her dude I don’t see nothing wrong with that. This dude wifing strippers. Those in glass houses…

P.S. All AR does is snitch on niggas. Biggest hater in Philly.

    • Shock

This nigga drake has a different woman every week lol. Who he wifing?

      • chosenxeno

C’mon man. You’ve seen his main chick. He even says in one of his songs she was a ex stripper and he told her she can’t do that anymore or some shit like that.

      • Shock

All I know is that the nigga gets pictured with a new woman every week. He ain’t got no kids. He don’t be fawning over women in public like Meek. Really you are letting everyone’s opinion based on songs cloud reality

      • chosenxeno

Your right. Fawning over your girlfriend is stupid and lame. You niggas act like 3rd Grader when it comes to relationships:

“Ew, he kissed her! Meek has cooties”

      • Shock

No I’m just saying don’t say they do the same thing when they don’t. I’m married so I have no problem with Meek showing affection, but I’m showing the difference between he and Drake

      • WIWYCB

that’s strength of that bodied by a singin nigga bc everybody talks about how corny & emotional drake is but is showing meek in that lane for real. drake raps & sings about these women but like dude above said, he gotta new one every week. I rock w/drakes catalogues bc what, you not supposed to show emotion to your woman? let her know you like/love her? dont be sucka either, but that’s whats wrong with dudes..always tryin to be a tough guy. im on your team, im sure you didn’t get your wife by acting like it doesn’t matter if she comes, stays, lays or prays. now, meek lookn like a real simp. but hey..do whatever works.

    • Dope

He did that Eminem style, take what the other guy can use against you and use it yourself.

  • STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN

Yall mofos need to realize that this bullshit started cause a nigga didnt tweet him….. BOY! A fuckin tweet from a nigga who seem like he cries, huffs and puffs when he is angry! Meek mill prolly trying to ger lyrics of nicki minaj! That nigga is a chump!! MEEK THE TWEET MILL

    • STFUUIgnants

“Meek the Tweet!!!!” I’m past dead LMFAO!

  • The Legendary Troll

RIP Meek Mill 1987 – 2015. Time of death, 5:00 AM Central time. Funeral services will be held this saturday at the churck of Nicki Minaj

    • WIWYCB

      HAHAHAHA

  • Juststrolling

Meanwhile meek still writing up a diss track to the first one

  • TheAfroRican

It’s funny how nobody noticed the picture Drake used. It’s the picture of Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Joe Carter hitting the infamous game winning home run to beat Philly to win back to back World Series titles. That itself was more clever than the diss record.

    • drake is definitely a sports junky

    • Jleeo

oh it was noticed lol the picture says it all! lol

    • EVOLONE

Yeah the photo was on point

    • WIWYCB

      shit you aint lyin..good catch!

  • chosenxeno

I’m a hater because I don’t consider him a great? I’m sorry but in a world where Lupe is creating puzzles with raps he is writing, Kendrick is creating Cinematic Experiences, saving lives and inspiring protesters with raps he is writing, Eminem is pushing the limits of syllables with raps he is writing and Jay is changing everything we thought about Age and Relevancy with raps he is writing, you’ll have to forgive me. I expect more from the guy who is supposedly the “Crown Holder”. I don’t care about his money or accolades. That has never been the crateria for greatness in Rap, try as they might with Forbes list and award shows. Drake is a good performer. He can no longer be considered a “crown holder” imo. Flex is a retard for all the hype surrounding this but he damn sure called it right. Drake should not be getting the Rakim treatment if he isn’t writing. Heck. Kanye sells like crazy and is superior musically to Drake, but no one has ever considered him a GOAT and he was Drake before Drake.

INB4 “His fans don’t care”. That does not change the criteria. There’s a reason people place an asterisk on Barry Bonds even though he’s the home run king. You dig?

    • Dark Matters

In regards to Flex flaking on playing the reference track to R.I.C.O, I think this had something to do with it.

      • chosenxeno

        Interesting.

    • Palm Beach B&R

Kendrick not the only writer on his credits

      • chosenxeno

Bilal and people like that contribute hooks. Not writing hooks was never a big deal. Drake basically cloned everything about Q.M. in my opinion. “AirplaneMode” and “Cinematic” from Quentin Miller tell you all you need to know about their relationship. I still like Drake as a performer but you Stans with your excuses and blind devotion are starting to make me dislike him. He got found out but he will still get money and probably have a longer career than Meek but it is, what it is.

      • Palm Beach B&R

I’m not a Stan I like good music I’m a Wayne fan but you can’t say Drake has a ghostwriter with such a big body of work and the fact that Drake has written for and worked with so many artists! Show me evidence of q miller from drake hitting the scene from dayv1 cause from day 1 the first track I heard with Wayne til now drake bars have been on point

      • chosenxeno

I don’t deny that he writes and he has also written for. This is about the Crown and the criteria.

  • Dark Matters

Meek needs to find that dude from Drake’s hometown that did a song with Drake but who can no longer stand Drake’s guts. Put him on a fire beat by Jahlil Beats. That’s the only way he’ll be able to win this one.

    • Dubz

Nigga better do it by himself.

    • Isa Ibn Maryam

Disagree, Meek jumped out there by himself. This is his own declaration of war…he shouldn’t need a lifeline.

  • stop

Ok. I rock with Meek over Drake all day. I don’t really even listen to Drake but damn. Meek needs to respond right now cuz this ain’t lookin’ good. He’s gettin’ dragged.

    • disqus_8gQkV1Y55t

im wit you on this…..nigga cant pop all that shit off on twitter and not respond…..he got to come with some fire shit……nigga career might be hanging in the balance if he don’t move right

      • stop

Yeah he needs to reply today or I’m callin’ it. You can’t take 5 days to write a response record when homie done already dropped 2.

  • The Legendary Troll

Legend has it, Flex still at his computer waitin on that email

    • chosenxeno

Check below for the Email he did receive:)

    • Montezuma1

      Dead!

  • I honestly can’t even listen to meek album anymore smh.

    • Keith Eades

Fell from top 10 to not mentioned at all in just 3weeks! lol… I’m charged up!

  • Jleeo

This aint ether, or hit em up,..but not many can reach that level…this aint bad…gave me a few chuckles! “you gettin bodied by a singing n*gga” lol “shout out to all my boss b*tches wifing n*ggas” lmao get em’ drizzy

    • chosenxeno

The singing nigga line is strategically brilliant lol. Drake knows what people say about him behind his back.

    • WIWYCB

right..or prob any of the ll cool j or g rap songs back in the day. but it is on point. wish it went another verse longer, but ill take it. and ya that singing nigga line was nice but “shout out to all my boss b*tches wifing n*ggas” had me dyin!

  • Digg

    woah.. good shit !!!

  • Keylon Jackson Di Natale

boy u were in the studio, while meek was in ur town …. thats the biggest dissed ever…. you should have jumped on the stage and sing that back to back shit lolll… its like niggga come to my own house having my people screaming his name waving they hands and i aint doing shit, but right after that im going to the basement to talk shitt lolll

Meek was in Toronto last nite….nothing happened. Drake firing off disses to the internet crowd while Meek gettin his money on tour. trying to rush to out a victory or a not well though out diss record from meek. Even when Meek got chin checked by cassidy, his response record was a straight up BANGER. On the real, Drake should have showed up in Toronto…..crickets stayed home puttin out half cocked. Ill give meek a minute because I see the whole situation, But meek better drop something

    • WIWYCB

“while Meek gettin his money on tour” urr his tour or his..? nvm lol at any rate, his tour or not, he is getting some money. cant knock that. guess we cant count this a win for drake til meek responds. I expect him considering he started it but like you said “meek better drop something” cuz so far it aint looking good.

we sorry Drake…. we didn’t believe you… we thought you needed more people……

  • cant say who won until meek respond. he should just release two tracks… back… to back.

  • seems like the whole track just goes at meek for using twitter, because drake doesnt tweet much. and that meek has a boss bitch as a GF. Sooo.. really drake ant say shit about meek. he could be holding some shit back.. But meek could flip it easy like, but well see.

    • chosenxeno

Actually, I will give Drake some credit for this even though it’s still not top tier. Everything he said is to make Meek appear to be the softer of the 2 if you pay attention:

You open up for a woman
You Tweet when your suppose to be a killer
      I’m a singer and I’m dissing you

It’s clever. He’d better be careful though. He’s unintentionally stung Nicki in each diss. She can do a lot more harm to him than Meek. She can bury him for that “Starstruck” line easy.

      • ehh, he opened for his GF who is a boss bitch, having a boss bitch as a GF is a good thing. lol a killer can tweet doe. Is drake tougher because he doesnt tweet much? no.

its not bad he did what he could do and did it well. but all my points stand, esp when u think about it.

      • chosenxeno

I keep saying the same thing. I fail to see how Meek benefiting from his girlfriend is this horrible thing. People are acting like he’s Kevin Federline or something lol

  • chosenxeno

  • GZ

Drake is playing chess with Meek. He’s capitalizing on Meek’s inability to respond back lyrically.

  • Felix Mayfield

Meek wants to respond but he’s lyrically insecure. Meek is waiting on Nicki to write his response.

    • chosenxeno

It has nothing to do with that. Nicki is on tour in Canada. Today is the last day though. It wouldn’t make sense for him to f*ck up her money with his personal Drama.

      • Dubz

Then he shouldn’t have said something to begin with.

      • SupaDoopaGhost1

That cant be it, because he’s been on stage ranting and shit. Truth is, Meek doesn’t have the bars to mess with Drake. He only messed with Cass cuz he thought it would be an easy win, and once R.A.I.D. dropped he quieted down. Same thing here.

      • Celz

Drake and Meek are all L’s in battle.. This is like the undercard match that comes on so you can hurry up buy more snacks before the main event.. Ludacris, Common, Jay Z, Cassidy… Who else served one of these niccas? I think I lost count..

  • game213

What I have seen from all this drake/meek shit is that drake really has a lot of haters out there. are we really puting meek up against drake and making this seem like meek is on the same level. both drake records killed meek and meek is not as witty smart and nice with the bars like drake. out of all the people that have come at drake (common, pusha t, kendrick,) meek is by far the weekest and least lyrical.

    • Isa Ibn Maryam

Do really believe Drake didn’t have collaboration on this diss…

    • therealjjohnson

But did he write this? I need someone to explain the 10 Bands reference track. Who would just rerecord a song thats already made? Because if the Q.Miller guy didnt write the song, what was he doing?

Thats not Drake hating…that people wanting to know if he the man behind the rhymes. And who knows where the clever and witty lines come from.

That being said, if Drake did write this its hard out here for Meek lmao!

      • Blue Skies

It was one song….and that song was for the clubs and wasn’t lyrical. It’s not like someone ghost wrote 9am in Dallas, headlines or even language. Drake can be very lyrical and 10 bands wasn’t a song that was.

      • Celz

Caught with ghost writers twice.. That’s a no no..

      • Blue Skies

I thought it was one…either way I believe Aubrey writes most of his lyrical stuff and gets ideas from other people, very common in the music industry.

      • Celz

He stole a rappin 4 tay verse with no credit given.. I’m sure he writes most of his stuff too.. But he has a Barry Bonds asterisk to any real hip hop fan..

      • therealjjohnson

So you think its OK to take a whole song from someone else and rap it like you wrote it just because, as you say, “it was a song for the clubs”?. What other special circumstances do you think its ok to be a fraud in?

      • Blue Skies

There is nothing wrong with getting ideas from other artists. It happens all the time. Doesn’t mean he’s not writing at all. And he wasn’t hiding the fact that Qmiller was one of the Co writers of that album. It’s in the credits.

      • therealjjohnson

Did you listen to the reference track for 10 bands? He spit 90% of the exact same words. Thats not getting ideas. Thats using someonese verses as your own.

  • xXx

    R.I.P meekie

  • VENDETTA

i was hoping for more substance…meek shouldnt be allowed back in Philly if this is the track that ends him…i mean its ok, but still kinda soft…sounds like he trying to protect nikki although we all know shes the one who told meek about the ghost writing…you should be embarrassed if you were a meek fan

    • Dark Matters

This soft ass track could never end him. In fact, by getting Drake to release two tracks and not responding Meek has proven a couple of things. First thing is that Drake is actually quite vulnerable about his spot in hip hop and that Meek has actually scraped Drake’s Achilles’ heel – authenticity (it is clear that Drake is sensitive and insecure about his authenticity. You can tell he thinks about it).

Drake has expended all of his power. He can’t possibly drop another track right now. Nobody would care. Meek has all of the attention on himself, at the moment. That means he has the power, at the moment. He is touring which means his tour (or his girl’s tour as Drake pointed out) is getting attention. It is really up to Meek to do what he wants with the attention. He can drop a really well prepared diss and eviscerate Drake or he can keep milking the attention as free promotion for whatever else he is doing.

  • Reblogged this on .

  • Kamil Charlie Hustle Walton

to be clear…i’m a bigger fan of Meek…Drake sings too much. BUT i call it how i see it. Drake just bodied him. I hope he gets up and keep fighting….

  • Elayorx El

Yeah, it’s a serious novella going on with all parties involved, from Safaree, to the “ghostwriter”, and of course all the other popular suspects. Notice Safaree threw a nuke when Meek’s defenses were a bit compromised, which may have exposed more truth, causing Drake to drop his Megaton bomb the next day. Let’s not forget to take into account Funk Flex’s credibility, and experience in the game. The fact that DM below provided a copy of the equivalent of a “cease and desist” letter, raises red flags for me. It almost seems as if Meek cannot respond the way he really wants to. I rock with both artists, with this almost being no different than the Jay/Nas fiasco a while back, with a woman in the middle of that storm, and random accusations flying all over the place. People were saying Nas was done as well, not to mention the PTB getting involved, and preventing Nas from truly ethering Jay, stopping his Summer Jam performance. I see similarities here, with supreme power struggles taking place underneath the surface as well. It’s bigger than music sometimes, and we should never be surprised if our favorite artist has help(even with raps), or assume that their career may be over due to a lack of a “timely” response. This situation wreaks of politics.

    • Celz

This is no jay z verse nas..

I never said it was. Merely drawing comparison/contrast.

    • DaHomey6Deuce

MAN FOH….Meek just wasn’t ready simple and plain AND he lost his
biggest supporter in Hot97…Drake knew from watching Ebro yesterday
playing all his instrumentals in the background that meek lost his
biggest ally…and just went in for the kill…When Ether came out Kay
Slay hyped the f*ck out of that record because he hates Jay..Flex
could’ve played the same role for Meek but his Dumb ass chose the Barbs
over his Allies…Even if he comes with a Ether type diss now..THE
DAMAGE IS DONE..PLUS He needs to come with a diss that tops 2
records…..He’s down 2-0……at least Nas was down 1-0

      • Elayorx El

Ok, no doubt. But no reference to the letter to Flex? You have concrete proof Meek was not ready? Man please, Meek can still put it on smash with one record. It’s about quality fam, not quantity.

      • DaHomey6Deuce

Fam Meek looks real bad right now…he needs to come with something real strong and his subject matter isn’t that strong..And drake checkmated his ass..he lost Hot97…He didn’t go after Nicki, because she could feed Meek some stuff, plus he put Nicki checkmate as well..He put her in a position like who’s side are you gonna pick..if he dissed her too she would make the obvious choice..plus he just won over CTG, one of the persons that been bashing him for years with 6 bottles of champagne….aww..man it’s over for ya boy Meek…..

      • Elayorx El

LOL….you may be right, but I never said I was solely in Meek’s corner. Please review the original post. BTW, you don’t think it’s a bit funny style Drake(if it’s true) all of a sudden is good with Charl? Takes us back to part of the point of the original post: politics. Ahhh, keeping one’s enemies close could not have a better meme with that one.

      • Isa Ibn Maryam

Great points…I have no dog in this fight but as a fan of Hip Hop Meek needs to make this competitive because right now Drake has basically boat race him thus far.

      • jacksjus

In HipHop it’s different. If you notice HipHop artists are the only ones being held accountable for their lyrics. Particularly when controversial. So it’s usually written by the rapper.

      • Jae

I can agree with that to a certain extent..I know that most rappers after becoming a brand has writers, not all their songs but a good portion.

      • jacksjus

        I can believe that.

  • Jae

Once you become a brand, you no longer have to write your raps, writers and songs come pouring in to you. At that point, you are able to pick and choose what beat you want, what lyrics you want. The game is now more about who can deliver the content the best. So STFU and crying about him not writing ALL his raps.

      ^^^THIS BULLSH!T^^^

Sorry, that’s not hip hop. That’s corporate mumbo jumbo.

  • STFUUIgnants

I’m not a Drake fan (or obsessed Drake hater) but I have to say its looking bad for Meek right now-regardless of who wrote these lyrics. What can he do-Meek aint that dope lyrically and he can’t lay a hand on him. That’s his girl’s label mate and according to her-family.
This might ruin their relationship…hell they’re probably fighting right now.

  • John Sangi

One would think that before Meek opened his mouth he would’ve had a bullet in the chamber (A Track on standby) for Drake…Meek is a one dimensional artist, this is what he should be good at, instead he’s quiet…Drake is a better artist all around & I’ve been in high price studios with high priced engineers and have worked with real producers, I know the difference between a producer & a beat-maker. A producer adds ideas to the record, also will tell you say that word with in this tone of voice and even sometimes say, change that word to this word etc. Anyone can be a producer or an assistant producer on a record by simply making recommendations for the record. In Hip-Hop no one should have a GHOSTWRITER the whole point is it doesnt take talent to say words, it takes talent to sing….Hip-Hop is not singing & most rappers these days including Drake & Meek have no idea what a flow is or rhythmic pattern or breathe control…Do I think Drake needs a GHOSTWRITER, NO I think he writes his own music. Lil’ Kim used to write all her own music but you would hear BIG rhyming her words showing her how to flow it over the beat.

    • swift

Naah man…..Drake had/has a straight up ghostwriter. whether he wins this “battle” or not. I just dont accept rappers who spit other people’s lyrics. a hot record is a hot record. Drake puts out a hot record I can rock with it. but listening to him as an M.C. no way.

      • John Sangi

I don’t know man, I dont believe he does (use Ghostwriters) A lot of Drakes Music sounds the same, his content has always been the same. Ive listened to a lot of Drakes music in an attempt to like him as an artist and although I think hes talented the man just doesn’t appeal to me overall, Same goes for Meek. A lot of these guys don’t appeal to my style of music. I heard Drake blatantly steal Rappin 4Tays verse on Player Club for another track & I will still go on record & say I don’t believe he uses a Ghostwriter.

      • STFUUIgnants

I feel the same way about Drake’s music. Which song did Drake use the verse for that he stole from ‘4Tay?

The consequences for Meek will now face for outing Drake will be nothing compared to the consenquences Rap will suffer, since no one sided with him. Meek did not plan it but he kinda “Martyed”. Unless he can put something together that is passionate and intelligent they will literally be able to throw anyone out there now, unchallenged. Look at the Tyrese situation. That is the future of Rap. If you don’t get what I’m saying now you’ll get it in a few years. Enjoy the Packaged Product’s victory but know this, the next ones they Package will look even less like you than he does. When that happens I will hopefully be around for my I told you so.

    • DJ7

Some hope that intelligence is still around on these boards…salute!

      • chosenxeno

People dont understand what a Meek loss does to the soul of the Art. I really wish someone who could express themselvesbetter had said what he said. His response will probably be goonish. I pray he surprises with some introspection.

    • rocnation30

What the hell are u talking about….yall drake haters sound sad and pitiful …lmao …. Drake is number 2 in the game…just wipe your tears…lmfao

  • Jmo-Texas

I wonder how much time it took Wayne to write this “freestyle”. This a battle of two b*tches!! Meek is mediocre and Drake is even worse!

    • rocnation30

Wayne…… I can tell you don’t listen to rap at all ….wayne career been over……can’t drop carter 5

      • Jmo-Texas

I can tell you don’t know shit about me and are prolly a young-head that thinks Drake is the messiah of hip-hop…which is a ludicrous thought and/or statement. You outa line with that foolishness that Wayne’s career been over lol. What planet do you live on where “Wayne doesn’t put up numbers when he drops a carter album? A place where all of the current so-called rappers would dare to drop a album the same date as Wayne. Or maybe u from a place where Wayne hasn’t sold countless records?” Since u talk in fables, I’ll present some quick facts: “As of 2015, all of Wayne’s albums have been certified at least gold by the RIAA. His album sales in the United States stand at over 15 million copies as of July 2013, and his digital track sales stand at over 37 million digital copies.” And that doesn’t count the tons of number 1 features. So to answer u r statement, yes I listen to rap, and I’m 33 and prolly heard more rap than you. It’s obvious you are one of those young haters or ur a girl. Cause only b*tches and b*tch niggaz jam Drake! I’m not the biggest Wayne fan but I do know facts and the facts show Wayne not done just yet.. I bet your dumb-ass gonna be the first one to try to download your first copy of the Carter 5 for free online lol!

  • bubbylana

Man …. Drake falling into a death trap…. If he doesn’t it’s cause the elite didn’t allow it. I would say this is better than charged up. Nigga still sneakdissing Meek got the potential to say some funny ass shit bout drake but if he doesn’t that’s career suicide

    • chosenxeno

Meek can’t win with a goon rap. Meek needs something powerful, introspective and borderline Artsy. If he can’t do that he can’t win. Drake is now the key for the industry to rid rap of things that matter as watermarks for greatness. When Meek loses brace yourself for Justi Bieber’s heavily Ghostwritten Rap Album. I would love it if Meek did some thought provoking joint over Dead Prez “Bigger than Hip Hop”

      • bubbylana

A goon rap lmao I can’t deal. Naw I expect meek to disrespect drake as a man . Really violate that nigga. Yall know how meek came up in the game compared to drake drake was never underground that’s why it would be a shame if he didn’t drop some ether. I don’t like how this battle has been perceived, alotta drake dickriders mostly nerds college bitches sneakdissers really riding with the memes all that fuckshit meek need to kill all that

      • Dubz

He aint killed shit yet….charged up was corny but back to back was nice…had some good bars…niggas that keep talking about what meek gonna do…but we just waiting to hear something. Shouldn’t have taken this long.

      • bubbylana

That would be a big disappointment in todays hip hop. I still expect him to drop something cause there’s no way around it. There’s no other record he could drop now except a response. Niggaz anticipating it so much that it doesn’t really matter nemore

      • rocnation30

Shout out the boss bitches wifin niggas… Nicki wolfing meek too funny

Oh yeah … Is your world tour or ya girls tour…. Meek never had a world tour

      • bubbylana

Nigga Nas waited a whole month to drop ether. The difference is the socialmediabullshit

      • rocnation30

Lmfao … Shut up nigga meek can’t flow like that… Drake bodied that dude

  • RonRico Jones

I think Drake is looking way smarter right now. Charged up was like when a weak nigga is yelling and you calmly say “you don’t want these problems boy”. Back to Back is like when dude don’t shut up and you sock his ass in the mouth and he tastes his own blood. If Meek tries to fight back I think that when he’ll really get that full ass whooping.

  • Mrs. Davis804

    The beat is slick.

  • scullyson

    Decent

  • rocnation30

That’s heat number 2 for you drake haters..,, meek don’t got the bats to run with drizzy … Only a few artist do that’s Jay

  • rocnation30

The drake haters is really praying for meek to say something …. Lmfao this shit is hilarious…in my drake voice he gettin bodied by a singing nigga… That line was for the drake haters on here

  • JerZeBoy

I said it before, i aint a fan of Drake but he smoking Meek. Meek dont have bars for this….ask Cassidy!

  • JerZeBoy

Drake rappin about what Buddens was saying lol

  • Mack II

  • Fosho3528

I’m quite impressed that the cover of the freestyle is Joe Carter (Toronto Blue Jays) hitting a walk off home run to beat the Phillies in the 1993 World Series. That alone was quite subtle and clever. Well played indeed.

    • YouTight

back to back word series I might add.

  • Fosho3528

If Meek wanted to really make this interesting he’d get Puff on a track with him. Hmmmmm….

  • AntLee06

I listened to Drake since he used to rap with Nickelus F. He’s BEEN nice

  • i hope views from the 6 sound like this! he definitely just proved that hes ready for a 12 round fight and right now hes got 3 won already. meek lookin weak and cant take the heat. this is sad by all means because as much as i dont give 2 shits about meek already. . . he supposed to have drake under pressure right now and all hes done is type

  • Str8_BLACK_History

I’m kinda dying to hear Meek now 😂

    • fukumean

He take to long im none interested to hear shit unless he quit rapping this guy makes the rap game weak and this is rap wtf he gonna have to do some pimpin curly skits and shit

    • Papi Peligro

man Meek verse is going to be so garbage, He doesnt have that intelligence factor

  • Dark Matters

    Another perspective to consider.

This track could never end Meek’s career. In fact, by getting Drake to release two tracks and not responding Meek has proven a couple of things. First thing is that Drake is actually quite vulnerable about his spot in hip hop and that Meek has actually scraped Drake’s Achilles’ heel – authenticity (it is clear that Drake is sensitive and insecure about his authenticity and whether he’s perceived as authentic or hood enough for hip hop. You can tell he thinks about it).

Drake has expended all of his power. He can’t possibly drop another diss track right now. It would make him seem as giving Meek too much respect and it likely that nobody would care. Meek has all of the attention on himself (see @kill_confirmed:disqus comment immediately below), at the moment. That means he has the power, for now. He is touring which means his tour (or his girl’s tour as Drake pointed out) is getting attention. It is really up to Meek to do what he wants with the attention. He can drop a great diss and “eviscerate” Drake (thus building his stock up) or he can keep milking the attention as free promotion for whatever else he is doing. If his past diss releases are any indication I think he’ll come out stronger after this episode and Drake will still be Drake to the those that already love him – nothing will change.

    • Papi Peligro

man thats a wimp lo win. Meek taking Ls

All your favorite artists use ghost writers. Go to music X-ray.kom (I put the k because ahh will block it if it promotes another site) and see the ads posted by artists looking for songs to buy for upcoming projects.

    • Dark Matters

I just looked and didn’t see it. Joe Budden who is on the site (for example) was looking for beatmakers/producers, hook writers and vocalists. In a hip hop sense – placing a song and writing someone’s lyrics are two different things. I suspect you’re drawing conclusions that aren’t necessarily supported by what you’ve found. Now, I’m not going to go on a limb and say that people (other than the usual suspects) don’t get their rhymes ghost written for them (because I just don’t know). However, this screenshot you’ve provided does not constitute evidence of rappers having their bars written for them.

Let me give you an example: Empire State of Mind was a song that that was already complete before it got to Jay Z – beat, hook drums. Jay Z put his lyrics to it and had Alicia Keys sing the hook instead of the original vocalist or songwriter. That doesn’t mean that someone wrote Jay Z’s bars.

Song placements happen all of the time. Producers make beats with specific artists in mind, all of the time. Sometimes that beat comes with the hook already created. Sometimes the hook is changed. At other times, it’s left as is and the rapper just spits their bars. So, I’m going to say again that I of course I can’t state with complete certainty that rappers don’t get their bars written for them. However, that screen shot can not be taken to constitute evidence of rappers getting their bars written for them.

      • Papi Peligro

xactly you cant tell by the credits

      • Aiden_Abetting

Most artists and labels use this site for song formats as well as ideas for new material. Most artists get concepts from others which most times include a pre made hook or even lyrics. if you go to the site itself and do some digging you will see a lot of ads looking for writers for songs etc. I’m just shedding light on a site that openly invites ghost writers to help artists. I posted that screenshot to show that MMG also invites the idea of a possible ghostwriter….they just use different wording to make it not so suspect.

  • Aiden_Abetting

Looking for songs to place with artists…MMG is listed
