Meek Mill-Drake

Meek Mill Releases Drake Diss Track “Wanna Know” (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) It has been a week since Meek Mill nearly broke the Internet with his Twitter rant which included claims Drake did not write the verse on “R.I.C.O.” It has been 5 days since Drake first fired back at Meek with the track “Charged Up.” After Drizzy hit him again with “Back To Back,” the MMG rapper has finally released his own song in the heated rivalry.

DJ Funkmaster Flex redeemed himself from his embarrassing show on Monday when he failed to deliver a Meek response that night. The veteran Hot 97 radio personality made up for that stumble by debuting a Drake targeted diss track from the Philadelphia rhymer. Meek takes aim at OVO’s leader on the cut “Wanna Know.”

Puffy almost caught a domestic when he smacked that b*tch

UPDATE:

It appears Meek is not done yet. Was “Wanna Know” just his opening round against Drake? He posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, “Dreamchasers….. Just warming up!” and another that read, “Meek mill vs ghost writers…..”

  • BlackCezar

Not bad I guess. at least he responded

    • True_Fan

Are you kidding me 7 days for that?

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

        LOL FACTS!

      • BlackCezar

lol..hey what are you gonna do?

  • Kofi Aychmeng

MY EARz hurt damn u Meek ur the one with the same flow

  • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

    Luke warm………….

Question? Could it be possible people heard Drake’s 3 songs and then AFTER made a reference song to it to set him up? Im just saying…..

This song like i said is luke warm, and he said TIP pissed on Drake?

This might be an inside thing with Grand Hustle camp.

    QUEENS!

    • True_Fan

cold water, luke warm is too hot.

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

        CTFU!

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Just did some research the boy Q Miller already said he made those songs AFTER he heard Drake’s. Wasnt trying to set him up, thats Meek with the foolery.

      • True_Fan

Even then think about it, they found 4 songs and Drake has been out about 6-7 years.

  • True_Fan

I don’t even curse, but this is FUCKIN TRASH.

    • soyhiphop

Thats offensive to trash cans everwhere..this is pure shit

    • MassConglom

The problem with Meek’s response is that there are literally NO QUOTABLES, I can remember several bars from “Back to Back” but none from “Wanna Know”.

Second thing is all thoughs interludes taking away from the feel of the diss track.

Third thing is the mindframe behind the disses. Meek literally just reiterate what he’s already said about Drake on Twitter. Drake not only released Charge up(which I didn’t like) but released another diss track before you could even respond to the first diss(and even called it “back to back”,lol).

Drake even found time in this beef to big up his City by making the cover art for Back to Back a pic of Joe Carter after the Toronto BlueJays win their second straight World Series against none other then the Philadelphia Phillies…smh.

Joe Carter co-signed the use of his picture by thanking Drake on twitter saying “My kids think I’m cool now”,lol. Drake REALLY sent bottles to Charlemagne possibly hinting at his first Breakfast Club interview(I Hope). And he donated money to a school in Philly to build a recording studio. Drake is playing #ChessNotCheckers #StepYourWorkEthicUpMeek

      Drake 2-1

  • Weezy F Jordan

    Trash

  • just me

    We waited for that bullshit???

  • Kofi Aychmeng

words so slurred barely could understand him just lower ur tone Meek damn remind me of the kermit meme rappin

  • True_Fan

Meek was better off not responding than releasing this diss.

  • fwea

What is it with him and this damn ROLEX . tf he always gotta add that shit in every song damn😒

    • Appalled Revere

Like Drake doesn’t own any. Lol.

    • saranad

If I could only like your comment 99 more times. Drake didn’t even have to come back with that second diss track. He still hasn’t responded to the first.

  • Hmmm……clever with the audio inserts but Drakes (back2back) was catchier

  • Timothy Purdy

the long wait for………better off saying nothing!!! and im a meek mill supporter!!! tightin up my g score cards not in ya favor, round 2 come on meek DAMN

  • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

    7 days for this????????????

    • Mrs. Davis804

Did he say that man let somebody piss on him in a movie theater?

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

Yes ma’am. TIP playing clueless like that Marvin Gaye trial for “blurred lines”

      • Mrs. Davis804

Thats a whole totally different type of L right there then. Lmao Drake need to take some time off and evaluate some things. Rap beef is the least of concerns when u a toilet in real life. Wtf?

  • krawf32901

Meek doesnt have LilSnupe(R.I.P) to go in and go h.a.m for him….and he’s too busy with his nose stuck up in in Nikki’s butt

  • AntLee06

Wow Meek is so one dimensional. Probably doesn’t even know he lost already…

    • rocnation30

      well written…

      • AntLee06

Hearing the song that’s all I could think..This song sounded almost exactly like any of his other songs.

  • JINX

Now that’s baby lotion soft lmao😂😂😂😂😂😂

  • Thelaw.

Meek if your reading this.. Your getting to old for this. PLEASE don’t think nobody notices.

Ps. Stay in your place fam

    • Anthony Mason

People know about it because the media keeps wiping Meeks a**. Ross is cool with the people who run these media outlets because Ross is a freemason….

  • Poseidon

    *cricketsssss*

Song was trash, as expected. But it says Jahlil AND Swizz on the beat?? Both them dude’s are hot and the beats were mehhh. Maybe Swizz, but definitely not Jahlil. Jahlil makes some serious bangers, not this ish.

  • Gap Tooth Bruce

I thought it was better than Drake first record gotta see what he follow up wit though! #OnlyUnBiasedNiggaLeft

    • True_Fan

I was just bumping DWMTM earlier, and was looking forward to the response, but call a spade a spade, it’s trash and unmemorable.

      • Gap Tooth Bruce

Better than charged up now lets see if he can top back 2 back cuz that was hot

    • BlackCezar

I agree It was better than charged up. Back To Back was banging. maybe he going with that same formula

    • i wouldnt even say that.. meek track fresh hot doo doo butter, and i was rooting for him!! fuuuuuck

    • rocnation30

ey ….meek never have a line where you can say oh wow…. like drake said …is that your world tour or your girls tour….but the truth is it is …lmao

  • True_Fan

The only line I remember from the entire diss track was ti pissing on Drake and I refuse to believe that’s true.

    • fwea

      That’s bout sb

      • True_Fan

Oh, well I was having troublekeeping up and understanding.

  • Sicko

Just OK, can’t understand shit he was saying, however towards the end when it cut off at 50 Cent, it sounded like he was about to Go In. He needs to release that and he could have kept that other BS. His Lyrics needs to be CLEAR, nobody is going to be impress if they can’t understand WTF he is saying. No hate not bias, I wanna see a good battle. I wanna hear the rest of that song at the end because that sounded hard but all the stuff before that was average and confusing

    • Gap Tooth Bruce

Thats go be the response for back 2 back… Drake got 2 off so Meek bout to do the same

      • Actually drake got 3 off. Charged up, Uncharged up, Back 2 Back.

      • rocnation30

we can’t say what its too because meek took a week to get back….for this???? a week for this??? Im a take it back on y’all,,,,,,,this shit was 7 days …….weak…

    • its not even OK.i heard his lyrics, he didnt say shit!!

  • Gap Tooth Bruce

Niggas acting like drizzy aint have to go back in the lab and come wit some shit too….come on people get off da boy sack

    • krawf32901

meek started it tho,…he shoulda blew drake outta the water for drake to need ghostwriters…meek needs LilSnupes ghost to write with that lame azz reply

      • Gap Tooth Bruce

What are we talking about? That shit was better than charged up stop it bro…..Now when he drop the other joint lets see if its better than back 2 back all im sayin then decide

      • fwea

Yooo charge was n a diffrent space drake sounded disappointed from hes tone to the lyrics

      • krawf32901

stop what…im not a fan of either one of these clowns but for meek to pop off the way he did it shoulda been a 1st round ko…drake giving him a run without his”ghost writers”,meek sposed to body the singing nykka in 3,4 bars if he’s that much of a lyrical rap beast.Imo its all kinda weak, but Drake got the ups,4 days for that response is laughable

      • rocnation30

that shit was not better than charged up …you are smoking….lmfao…the meek fans are done

    • fwea

Took drake a day to respond then a day later drop another one hint back to back

      • Gap Tooth Bruce

Fans acting like broads cuz he didnt respond when they wanted him too nigga on tour getting money i would made the world wait to unless they was dropping a bag at the door fukyumean

      • fwea

YO THIS NIGGA AINT EVEN BEAT SAFAREE

      • Poseidon

        Mannn. No, you didn’t…..

HAha. Nah, but really though – he didn’t.

      • rocnation30

        lmfao…i kno

      • Papi Peligro

Man that Safaree joint was ambiguously gay. I have never heard a rapper tell a dude hey you out of shape. Fat F!CK. OK. But Hey man you out of shape.Sounds like a Michael Jackson beat it line.

    • krawf32901

nobody on this clown’s sakk he was on drake’s sakk bout how he needs ghostwriters and now drake came at him and he’s struggling and scuffling to serve in his words an unproven lyricist who needs ghostwriters

    • rocnation30

      he’s the best tho

  • Poseidon

Meek…. A more appropriate title would’ve been “Anticlimactic”. Lmao. Just saying.

    Back to my nap.

  • Cyber💂🏾Soljah

    No go…

  • Look closely

I’m put it on he couldn’t find a good studio.. This is war meek!! War!! Damn you was suppose to USE drake voice “WOE” every time you said a punch line.. Should have let a real GHOSTWRITER start the BacktoBack off then bring drake in rapping the part.. Then hit the gunshot!!! Could have rapped over ether beat and hov beat and slaughtered dude!! Dude this was your time to Become a heavy weight in the GAME!! Well someone has to loose!!! If drake release “repast” tomorrow.. Smh rip meek!!

    • BlackCezar

      3peat

    • LeCore Noah

Damn that hurts to hear the truth.

    • this has NOTHING to do with a good studio!!!

  • Danny

The song was wack, I expected more then audio that wasn’t clear and a lot of the record was just talking

  • Danny

Meek did get at Drake hard with that P Diddy line though, assuming P. Diddy really did slap Drake

  • soyhiphop

Where do I start..he’s rambling all over the place and the songs trash…him and fake master flex can share this L

  • Gap Tooth Bruce

Simple question Meek joint vs Charged up? I say Meek joint…..Drake first joint made me sleepy

    • rocnation30

lmfao…u stupid…..u a real live drake hater ….just be real…drake shit killed him

  • Isa Ibn Maryam

    Sun sound like he got marbles in his mouth…str8 T R A S H🚯🚯🚯🚯

  • True_Fan

Remember on that other article, I alluded to the fact Meek might be struggling with a response record. I think this track proves it. Meek doesn’t get a mulligan because he started the beef and waited 7 days to respond.

  • Pingback: AllHipHop » Is This Drake’s Response To Meek Mill’s “Wanna Know” Diss Track? (PHOTO)()

  • Sean Power

if you think this good your real meek fan, cause this trash dear meek please as Nicki to proof read your next diss track …. call quentin ask him to ghost wrtie something for you, you need help more than drake

    • Anthony Mason

      For real….

This nigga Zeek acts like he has the SARS virus/ he should have kept all of those bars private/ he’s on some *69 s***/ I stay with bars like I’m Irish/ I’m too hot like Mars climate…..

      • joeyjoejoejr

        Word!

  • Shaun

Cassidy would have done better than that Meek…..way better.

  • seerock

I ain’t a fan of either one of these niggaz but u wait all this time and drop this weak shit! Meek u get the L. “The loudest nigga is alwAys the weakest nigga” I’m neutral not a fan of either. So I’m sorry meek riders but yall mans didn’t come hard enough after all this time. Was straight at best.

  • chosenxeno

And just as predicted by me earlier it didn’t matter if Meek responded or not. Too many people are on Drake’s dick lol. He was going to get hated on Regardless.

“how is Drake claiming King when he has a team of writers”
“who was Quentin Miller riding through the 6 with”(lol)
“Why would a grown man let someone piss on them?”
“Does Meek deserve a refund for not getting what he paid for?”
“why is everyone industry(and fans) ok with Phonies?(this includes Ross)”
“Who’s flow is Drake using? “(Mostly Big Sean’s. “Blessings” is very telling lol)
“His point about money and how sheeps love to go to that”

Say what you will but unlike Drake who went to punchlines MEEK DISS WAS ON TOPIC.

You see I’m the type who Loves “Ether” but also loves how “The Takeover” was so accurate.

    • krawf32901

man please weak is weak and that 94 hour response time rhyme was not a power blow, more like a powder puff sonnet

      • Poseidon

        #FACTS

    • Isa Ibn Maryam

Regardless of all that you just typed…Meeks delivery and flow was on Some Soulja Boy level…Real Rap.

    • pm92101

That would be all fine and dandy but Cassidy already confirmed he wrote for Meek when they had beef and in Meeks response he ADMITTED IT. so it doesnt make sense that they are beefing over this. Meek looks petty and dumb. Im not even a drake fan but Drake has written for Beyonce and Alicia Keys, The dude is a SINGER for heavens sake. Meek is beefing with a singer/rapper. Of course Drake doesnt write every rap… BUT NEITHER DOES MEEK

  • Realest Minority

i swear this pillow fight has to the worst over hyped rap beef ever

  • krawf32901

Meek is losing credibility imo,he sposed to shut Drake down…stop mentioning ya rolex every damm rhyme too that gives yo no points in this battle because Drake can purchase rolexes too and whatever else Meek can purchase.Assasinate him lyrically is what Im saying its supposed to be 1 sided yet Drake is in the ballgame….Drake didnt even go @ KingKunta yet he came for Meek,LoL

  • ShaStud

    Nahh.. Let fella eat!!!

  • THA CARTERVII

This Nigga just made me dislike the Undertakers ring entrance theme music(WWE)!!!!!BRUH

    • krawf32901

LoL,had the gong blaring like he was finna straight tombstomb drake on the track..lol

      • Taeman

Watch he get sued for that shit lol

      • krawf32901

he should get sued by taker for dropping that bs”with his ROLEX on”

      • THA CARTERVII

        CHURCH!!!!😂😂😂💯☑FREE GUCCI MANE!!!

  • True_Fan

Drake>Safaree>Meek If someone could have told me they expected this, I would ask them for lottery numbers.

    • fwea

Lmao not far fetch but still cleverly put

  • that shit soooooooo fuckin wack. meek career over, he let not just philly down, but the entire tri-state area!! WTF!!! like holy shit that was wack!!! smfh.

    • Dex Corneli

I only hope that his career is over

      • SupremeKing

        Lmao😭😭

  • ShortDogg

Nice beat but screwed it up! Also Meek’s flow is weak!

  • krawf32901

drake should tell meek to stick to smiling like a fuqqn cheshire cat at nikki n catwalking atvs n dirtbikes up n down the ave”with his ROLEX on”…

  • meek any from philly no mo’ he from Rhode island now!!

  • I never was a Meek fan and no, it’s not because of Drake. I just couldn’t get used to his style and flow. So I kinda expected a diss record like this. Not impressed.

    • krawf32901

2nd that,my homie tried to turn me on to Meek talkn bout feel his pain in his voice n rhymes…he just be screaming about nothing….”with his ROLEX on”

    • Anthony Mason

His bars are weak. I would murk him on wax quicker than the press could type a bulls*** article. And I’m a producer (not my main career).

He should have hit the boards and used free material. This dude is so weak it is making people uncomfortable.

  • chosenxeno

Unless something else goes down, I’m through with this Topic. Just
remember Drake Stans. Meek has his Stans too. They won’t stop buying his
Album because you don’t like him. And before people say I’m a Meek
Stan(I knowe it seems like I’m more slanted towards him. I just agree
with his stance) Drake has the second most songs in my iPod at 48. Meek
is at 32(Lupe is number 1 with 99:P). I just love taking the unpopular stance. It’s
    more fun:)

    • krawf32901

Im a fan of neither they both have 0 songs on my playlist, but for Meek to be fatt mouthin like he was”with his ROLEX on”…that was weak.he sposed to bodied singing man Drake in 6-8 bars

      • chosenxeno

I’m actually through with this but Drake can actually Rap too. People need to stop focusing so much on the fact that he sings. Like I said below. Meek stayed on topic. He asks some very interesting questions for hip hop. Questions that will affect the future. Like I said to some guy earlier. I wasn’t fishing for punches. I was fishing for food.

      • krawf32901

man fish for whatever you want that chytt was weak idgaf how many facts he stated the delivery was weak, wasnt no ooohhh n ahh moment and drake wasnt lying bout meek bein a twitter finger azz dude he always poppin off n then come weak like he did with Cassidy too

  • krawf32901

    #Meek dat was weak,”with your ROLEX on”…

  • Taeman

He already lost for waiting too long then he decide to diss him over a wwe beat 😂😂😂 smfh

  • BIGC

    Worst diss track ever….

  • Crystal

I couldn’t even finish listening to the track. Drake’s was more entertaining IMO. Who cares if Drake has a ghostwriter? If Meek thought calling Drake out would make him look better, he was wrong. YOU DEAD WRONG! BIGGIE is SMH right about now.

  • Darknezz

Drake never said he was from the streets but the kid has talent.I remember when no one knew who he was releasing mix tapes but they were nice. He earned his strips. Record labels was fighting each other to sign him. Meek came up the hard way and earned his stripes as well but on the street level. The issue is that he is not as talented and this situation is exposing it

    • Whofarted42

Wrong homie! Drake was under wraps down in Houston where J prince jr had him and schooling him. Drakes style of singing and rapping came from Devin the Dude ,Kirko Bangz and chalie boy…don’t let that fool you.

      • Darknezz

I feel you, now Devin the dude that boy is nice! People sleep on that cat. I knew when I heard him with the Odd Squad he would go solo.

      • krawf32901

Drake took Devin style and took it mainstream,LoL

      • Sirdom

But real niggas sniff that shit out from miles away. Get you nose hairs trimmed

      • Darknezz

Now you would assume since Meek comes from battle rapping he would have the advantage but I don’t believe he’s versatile enough to overcome this situation. Because it’s just not what you say but how you say it.

      • Sirdom

Somebody stole the herb out my doobie ashtray. Man devin is actually that.. That dude

      • Sirdom

Thank you. Drake is s puppet man

    • Darknezz

When you are fighting the champ (Drake) and you are the challenger (Meek). Meek has to hit him with a knockout blow to win cuz if it goes to a decision Drake is gonna win by default. It ain’t fair but you got to take the title.

  • GMF357

Homie had an intro and about 4 different beats and had the same basic flow with the best punchline about somebody (diddy) doing something to drake. All that tough talk and he rapping about what other ppl did….aside from QM n all. Plus I figured that whomever goes 2nd in a beef diss should have the better joint cus they have ammo

  • krawf32901

Nikki prolly gone dump Meek in bout uhh lets say 96 hours….him and his ROLEX,

    • SupremeKing

      After the tour😭😭😭

  • SmittyJ

I’m not a fan of either rapper but it ain’t so much Drake is killing dude lyrically. It’s the presentation people!

  • TRUTH SPEAKER

“you know you fvcked up right? you shouldn’t have said nothing…” thats Meek talking to himself on some psycho ish. Meek was never meant to battle like this. He let his mouth get him into a situation he’s not built for.

I like some songs by both artists. But damn this is weak. Does this even really qualify as a diss track?

  • Mrs. Davis804

Drake lyrical my azz, if he let another man piss on him in public none of that matters.

    • RespectA

Right! What the hell was that?

      • Mrs. Davis804

He shoulda put that in the intro. Woulda been a wrap from there. Like wtf?

    • krawf32901

      that was directed at SB

      • Mrs. Davis804

Yeah, meek lost. SB look like he get disrespected. No surprise there. They need to leave that man lone. Get at Aubrey.

    • golder1

That was Nicki ex he was talking about

      • Mrs. Davis804

I heard. Doesnt make drake any more authentic though.

  • RespectA

Can we get a Joe Budden vs Cassidy battle?

    • Mrs. Davis804

As long as joe dont catch feelings. After that dizaster and this meek bull i aint doubting cass again.

  • Insite The-Formula

this is what drakes charged up was supose to soundlike!!!..yall was joking on drakes charged up record when it came out and when “back to back” came out yall drake bandwagons act like yall wasnt talking shit about that “charged up” weak ass record..just by how this record ends you can tell thiers another record instored to even out the score

    • TheOnlyCoop

Exactly this song is just Meek showing his jab.

  • Black Adam

Meek spit the harder bars. Drakes was catchier. Another round yes? At the very least 3.

    • krawf32901

chytt was weak bruh bruh…but im from the no vaseline, ether, king of tha hill era

      • Black Adam

So am I and the shit hits hard. Beat bangs and Meek spit facts. It wasnt no home ru hit but he caught some points. Negras need to stop frontin.

      • krawf32901

frontin on what drake replied back n went in,meek came back with this half azz chytt thats not all that bruh not his shots at drake imo….how high are you listenig to that im sober n clear headed n its weak

      • Black Adam

drakes diss was entertaining I can def say that but it still wasnt

a home run hit either. Id still like to hear what else they both have to say. I’ll go as far as to say I liked back to back more because it was unexpected and funny but this wasnt that bad either. Just my opinion.

      • krawf32901

all im sayin is meek hollered drake needs ghostwritersyet he cant shut drake down on these two songs directed at him, drake said he has the midas touch n he does ol boy didnt write for alicia, beyonce n others platinum artist.meek is barely a gold artist but speaks on his rolex like that phases drake.drake isnt street yet he doesnt lip sync like milli vanilli so all meeks statements weren’t factual

      • ItGoesDownINtheDM

what about drake getting slapped and pissed on lol if you want facts lol

      • krawf32901

Safaree got pissed on,not drake and so he got slapped by diddy he never said he was gangsta but he’s more marketable than the dirtbike kid”with the ROLEX”that cant seem to body him on wax…do your homework bruh bruh

      • Black Adam

You defending a man getting smacked in the face by another man and doing nothing in return?! Lmao! No wonder you think drake alrdy won.

Its only round 1 going into two. Meek made reference to not stoping unless they pay him to basically saying he has more heat rdy to go. Neither of these dudes made an Ether or takeover. Neither was no jada vs beans.

      • krawf32901

im not defending a damm thing, neither one of theses clowns pays not a single solitary bill of mine, but i do know one thing for all the talk meek spittin like a broad he’s not doing much damage by my observations.drake is platinum plus and meek is barely going gold and nikki is helping his ratings at the momene along with this weak beef he’s conjuring up….im not a fan of either for the record but meek aint doing any damage

      • Black Adam

Yea he is. Its just hasnt sunk in yet but it will. Give it time. You’ll see.

      • golder1

Ain’t nobody paying Meek. But Diddy didn’t slap Drake, even those at the party said that isn’t what happen. Drake did get rushed and tossed, Drake had a dislocated shoulder which you don’t get from a slap. But funny thing is Diddy was the Drake back in the day noone was scared of him and they showed.

      • ItGoesDownINtheDM

yeah but keep in mind diddy has never claimed gangster either … but diddy slapped the ish out of aubrey … not punch … SLAPPPED !! … lol stop making excuses for drake it is what it is ……. take this L

      • TheOnlyCoop

        Let that bitch break.

      • Black Adam

The damage is alrdy done to drake among any true hip hop fans. Dont write your own ish you cant be at the top. I doubt these two dont have a few more songs in them.

      • krawf32901

well im not a fan of either so i could care less, but for meek to be all loud n fat mouthing like he did drake is giving him a go

      • Papi Peligro

he not even talking about Drake he talking about Safaree

      • Black Adam

        Both

    • cromthelaughinggod7

Explain bars? Explain what lyrical metaphors he spit? This was below average. He flowed on a hard beat doesn’t make it sick. As krawf32901 said. I also come from the era that cube had no vaseline to ether, common vs cube, canibus vs ll cool j. The only thing that was dope was the beat. People want lyrical skill. This shit was wack.

      • Black Adam

Neither diss to me belongs with those up there you mentioned which is my point. They need to go another round. These were just jabs at this stage but drakes had more lasting effect and punch. Ive got drake still up.

      • cromthelaughinggod7

I put your name by accident and it would not let me correct it. I don’t agree with you saying this was a good diss record. It was complete trash.

      • Black Adam

Thats fine. Im not calling it great either. Meek couldve went harder but like his ppl are saying, he has another in the chamber rdy to go. Its chess not checkers.

      • Mack II

He need to get Roxanne Shawntae to kome write some of his battle rhymes.

  • big_mars75

Thru all that yelling and mumbling i don’t remember one damn quotable! Shit was hella trash!

And he just be like “Baby ima silly muther fvcker I know”
That was my bad How could I spazz out on ’em?
i just took that record and threw trash all on it
    😂

  • rocnation30

thats the whole bottom line meek is 1 dimensional…you can’t battle someone being one dimensional….thats why he will never be in a top 5 or 10……. all rick ross rappers are one dimensional..they are costars for him…MMG kinda be hot the albums but when them niggas drop solos…they be hurting

    • Darknezz

      Preach.

  • ApricotNapalm

wtf was that, not sure y he had skits inthe middle of a diss record like he went off so hard he could just throw in an interlude….but it backfired- went from trigga fingers to twitter fingers & got BODIED by a singin nga

    • krawf32901

      sure did

  • FACT_CHECKseed

That Drip Drop sh!t from empire went harder than this!

    • Black Adam

  • Thought Dog

Sad that this went over the internet’s head. He had bars for 3 people and 2 different hype beats with an ending like there’s more to it. Tons of proof that drake isn’t penning his stories as well. The era of corporate rap is here.

    • golder1

It didn’t go over anyone’s head, it just wasn’t that good. He could have done better. And corporate rap as this generation calls has always been apart of the music BUSINESS. From Vanilla Ice, Kriss Kross ect. Do I believe that Q.M has written music for Drake maybe but who knows. Q.M said when he met Drake at the studio and he was 90% finished with album and didn’t write anything for but studied his flows and gave suggestions. Who to say he didn’t give those suggestions by recording Drakes lyrics and deciding the flow pattern. Nobody knows but what I do know is Meek could have came harder. Drakes diss was a little better

      • Thought Dog

The music business is totally different from real rap. This is the major problem with the new fans like you. You just don’t get it with this genre.

      • Guest

        Church!!!

      • golder1

You sound dumb because you know nothing about to make that assumption. I’ve listen to Hip Hop( Hip Hop is more than rap) since the 80’s and bubble gum rap has always been apart of this genre. Just because you don’t know the history of Hip Hop that’s shows you don’t know much about this genre. Underground and independent labels are still part of the music business that you just don’t understand.

  • Global_Mission

This Fraud here had everybody waiting almost a full week to cut and paste some ish together..smh!!

  • Guest

This whole beef is a metaphor of what hip hop culture n the world is becoming. Yall see how many ppl riding Drake’s D right? N’s n B’s wanna be entertained. Lies n fake shit are usually more entertaining (Aubrey=any B u see wit a fake ass=Love&HipHop) then the truth. N’s love a show!!! The truth hurts n N’s love running from the truth!!! Drake been getting paid to act since his teens but these N’s grew up watching him ACT so they attach him to their childhoods when life was easier n fluffier. Pull yall skirts down, let ya balls drop n man da F up!!!

    • krawf32901

      wth are you talking about….

      • Guest

ppl love fake sh!t n wanna be lied to cause its more entertaining (Aubrey=Drake).

      • krawf32901

well i didnt grow up on aubrey, lol i grew up when screech n them was running degrassi…and i was napping in class when we watched it

      • Guest

Whether u like his flow or not Meek spitting truth n N’s don’t respect the truth cause it’s not as entertaining.

      • krawf32901

its weak the delivery was weak

      • Guest

So if truth is weak, do dat make lies good?

      • krawf32901

where did drake lie on his diss, meek is a twitter hands type been tweetin since Cassidy n K.Dot true or false

      • Guest

        Drake IS the lie brah!!!

      • Dope

It’s OK Meek, you lost, but you can still get that Nicky tour money so go do that and just pretend this whole beef never happened.

      • Guest

        True.
Drake is an actor. True or false?
Actors read off scripts written by other ppl n portray that script on screen/wax. True or false?

      • krawf32901

        hello,true or false

      • Guest

I’m not a fan of either brah. N yea Meek shoulda came a lil stronger (he ain’t done yet tho) n yea he was weak 4 catchin feelings n goin on Twitter. But I respect truth over flow n entertainment value. So bein that Drake is the best n only actor (A Lie!!!) in the game, Meek won from day 1. But again, ppl wanna be entertained 1st so the truth doesn’t sound as good.

      • Mack II

        Kome on Meek!!

      • Guest

Not Meek brah but dat response proves my point

      • Mack II

I don’t listen to neither! I believe lil homey is just salty that these niggas is at his girl.. And Blood is riding his girls coat tail real talk.. Maybe Ricky needs to write his ghost raps

      • Guest

I think he was in his feelings too. N he is piggybacking off chick. But real recognize real. But Drake is actor by trade n reads scripts. If this were a movie, he gets da Oscar. But this is suppose 2 be hip-hop

      • Mack II

It’s a teenage kids game homey oh boy is on a pink tour. There’s not to many real ones now a days that’s why I keep scarface and method in my rotation

      • Guest

        U ain’t never lie brah!!!

      • Mack II

Still think Kurupt is one of the hardest to this day to touch the mic.

      • Guest

That’s my point fam. Real ones (truth) ain’t respected anymore. Niggaz would rather be lied to (Drake) cause it makes fake asses twerk!!! Lol

      • Mack II

I got you homey! A lot of people now a days are brain washed. Trying to keep up with the Genders… That’s the world we are living in now

      • Guest

That’s truth brah! Sadly niggaz ain’t tryna hear dat either. Salute tho fam!

      • Mack II

Like I said in my other post.. If it don’t make dollars, you know the rest- Dj Quik

    • main0

All that is fine, but in regards of this song, you’re saying these bars are on point?? Negative, bars were wack his Twitter rant was better. The cutscenes in the song took away from the track. He had the ammo he should have spit but he didn’t. There’s no D riding this was weak response to back to back. If it was a response to charged up cool but it wasn’t he took a week, 7 days for this??? He have to be better this won’t work

      • Guest

I didn’t say they were on point. I said it was truth n niggaz love the show more then truth!!! Charged up was lame brah n this was weak too. He should came stronger. But if u listened 2 da end he ain’t done yet.

    • CooL_KiD_305

When and where have you been around drake to call him fake? He seems genuine to me. The dude don’t bother nobody, but it’s your opinion so whatever.

      • Guest

Damn brah catch up. HE’s AN ACTOR PPL!!! If yall can’t under dat yall don’t understand English

      • CooL_KiD_305

Lol, you are to invested into this beef. Trust me these niggas will continue to ask drake for a verse fake or not. So don’t lose sleep over this shit.

      • Guest

I slept great brah. Lol n u right. jus sad 2 see this shit coming down too

  • ghettogov

I think Drake paid Meek to write that wack Azz Diss. Why else would it have taken this long?

  • ghettogov

I mean this whole beef could be one elaborate damage control scheme. It’s too convenient for both parties and rap in general honestly. I hoped for something better from meek. I didn’t expect better, but I still had hope.

  • Greg Gorham

As a response to Charged Up this would have worked. Back to Back though is clearly better than this.

  • Dope

Back to Back is definitely better than this (both as just a song, and as a diss song), not just the delivery but the pauses, skits.. shows he had no real concept.

  • Pingback: Meek Mill Releases Drake Diss Track “Wanna Know” (AUDIO) | Concrete Dreams()

  • ghettogov

You could pull five random people off the street and at least three of them could make a better Diss record than this

    • TommyDilfinger

And that’s just in the Hamptons alone.

  • Dark Matters

Awww man. This is a blown opportunity. Meek had all of the ingredients to make it a really great diss song. Too many flaws, in this. The beat at the end, is the beat he should’ve used for the entire track.

Edit: Having listened to it again. The actual track was decent but the flaws really mess things up. The “I wanna know” hook is underwhelming. And the sequencing of the cutting and pasting could’ve been better.

    The bars are revealing, though.

    • Pernell Whitaker

Yeah, if he just calmed it down and made it easy to hear his punchlines he could’ve had a little hit back here… I was straining hard to keep up and hear what he was actually saying tho

      • Dark Matters

Yeah that was one of the flaws, for me too. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. However, that cut to the reference track should’ve been placed at the end to make the track less disorderly, I think.

      • SupaDoopaGhost1

Yea it’s just not a good track. I’ve listened to it three times and the only line I like is the Puffy one. Its just underwhelming. If he had dropped this before Back To Back maybe I would feel different.

      • Pernell Whitaker

Agree wit that… It actually is a very decent diss, it just takes patience and hard work to find that out – not what you want from a diss tbh lol!

      • Dark Matters

        LOL Indeed.

  • bbm8989

All yall pussies is “milli vanilli” hahaha. Bitch niggas side with bitch niggas all day. Get off that boys sack

    • krawf32901

if nykka come weak im real enuff to call it how it is…and idk meek nor drake to kno if they real or fake, but i know drake giving meek competition to not be able to write

      • Guest

U missing the whole point brah. From what it sounds like QM might be giving Meek competition!!!

    • Guest

U ain’t lie brah. But bitch niggas out number real niggas so the battle was already over as soon as Meek sent dat tweet.

      • Jozie723

Trigger fingers turn to Twitter fingers….. if they was cool Meek should have hit him up and talked to him instead of Twitter. I swear Meek light skinned…. he always in his feelings.

    • Brash_E

Done doing favours for people, cause it ain’t like I need the money I make off a feature. I see you n*ggas having trouble going gold, turning into so and so’s that no one knows. Come live out your dreams out at OVO (cause they’ll never get a crowd that big on their own- basically saying your welcome). And this is from Drake weaker track.

Quote one well delivered punchline from Meek’s ranting? Like he’s delivering facts, cause he ain’t and needs to dig a little deeper. The deepest blow off this rap wasn’t even directed at Drake so why we even here? Stay on point. This shit week I can recite a bunch of events too doesn’t make it good rap. Ya’ll ain’t paying attention.

      • Guest

But was it Drake or QM dat wrote that brah?

      • Brash_E

Well whoever writes for Drake must be doing a hell a of job for years now cause he’s flow has sounded pretty consistent all these years. Lil Wayne went from garbage to phenomenal lyricist overnight he’s been accused of it too. I swear Cass ghostwrote for Meek, all them mofos do this shit. Meek’s girl doesn’t even write all her stuff either. You can’t call a man out for doing the same dirt you’ve done. That’s like a fat chick calling another fat chick, fat.

      • Black Adam

Who said Cass wrote for Meek and No.everyone does not have ghoswriters.

        Stop that.

      • Brash_E

Are you in the industry? When you get to a certain level yes they do. Everyone on the top billboard charts don’t be naive. When you’re bringing in that much money they don’t leave it to you anymore they wanna make sure they can milk every dollar out of you.

      • Black Adam

If that were the case, non would risk exposing even one person.I think youre stretching it a bit bud,

      • Brash_E

Do me a favour bruh and Google any rapper that’s successful on Wikipedia, then check their discography then pick a track and check under written section.

      • Black Adam

Credit for Hook writes and actual full song structure and lyrics are two different things bruh. Drake has entire songs written for him. Thats the difference. Not just a hook here or there. If non of an entire song is your idea then wtf are we listening to you for? GO get the dude that wrote it,since its his mind that wrote the entire song.

Not to mention drake took Big Seans flow, migos flow, Kanye style etc etc.

      • Guest

There’s a big difference between a Accusation n physical evidence brah. But u right!!! His movie team is great at script writing n he’s the best actor in hip hop!!!

      • bbm8989

Apparently YOU aint paying attention homeboy. Stop getting caught up in the “Headlines.”

      • Brash_E

What you did right there was more clever than anything on this track. Rap wise a lot of dudes would tear Drake a new one but not Meek he’s garbage. Drake the type of dude that wouldn’t fight a battle he couldn’t win.

  • scullyson

Sound like he’s gargling salt water..weak…Truth be told Meek still aint recover from that beat down Cassidy delivered to him on “Body”…BS aint nothin..

  • Papi Peligro

Meek need to get on twitter and just hold that L key dont type nothing else. Weak comeback.

    • Appalled Revere

      😂😂😂😂😂😂

  • bubbylana

Niggaz ride drake so much them muthafuckas gon be pregnant . Meek ain’t never came weak he got under his fans skin foreal Just as I expected. Cause a real hiphop fan can’t declare a winner before the shit even really pop off Niggaz saying meek lost ain’t even responded yet that’s how u know you swinging from his nuts sweet ass punks!

    • bubbylana

And when i said his fans I’m referring to drakes fans

    • Guest

Might as well strap up n get use 2 it brah. Koolaid niggaz run this shit now. Protect ya neck fam

    • Papi Peligro

Man Meek you need to get your bars right stop being in chat rooms, tweeting, facebobok, making fake accounts. Who gonna want to tweet your album after that. I mean no telling if my followers would run into some mess like this they not going to trust my judgement.

      • bubbylana

Haha *slaps knee* that was clever ! Here’s one, maybe if you realized drake ain’t a bus or a bike , you would stop riding him to get through your sweet ass day.

      • Papi Peligro

Aight Meek but maybe you should have included some of them metaphors in your song. You can’t have yo best lines on twitter and chat forums.

      • bubbylana

Ima sell them shits to the OVO ghost library

      • Dark Matters

        LOOOOL

    • main0

But but, this song is trash and I’m just a hip hop fan. I can careless about either but this guy bars were elementary. Nothing that made you said wow he’s killing him, the back to back record at least had something. Besides the puffy line the rest of the song was forgettable,

      • bubbylana

That’s cuz your a person that looks for super lyrical metaphors and rhyme schemes both these Niggaz used the same flow they always use but who was really too the point and more personal. He even shitted on his fans bro! But I’ll say this, meek didn’t go as hard as he could have

      • SupaDoopaGhost1

Meek is supposed to be a BATTLE RAPPER. Battle raps are about super lyrical metaphors and rhyme schemes. FOH.
Meek didn’t deliver. End of story.

      • main0

If he released this right after charged up I would have said cool this is a warm up. I understand he has more coming, but when will we hear it next week? The spotlight was on him and he failed to deliver. If he comes with something harder and better I will change my tone, until then I’m sorry but he’s losing. He could say he has 4 more records I could careless cause I don’t hear them and I can only go by what he has out now

      • bubbylana

Today’s listeners are more impatient due to the perpetuation of this so called battle in social media. Everybody got a voice on the internet but nobody’s word is law. I see what your saying though but cmon now …. Drake got pee ‘d on :/

    • Slick El Shadii Blak

Dude Shameek screams like bitch, that’s his Phuk voice when Niki puts the strap on in him. Shameek PADUSSY he should just hire goons and I think Drake is puss for the most part. Big Ghost Ltd have way better Drake diss smh. This weak mill response makes Drake shit sound like ether and that is a blasphemous statement. Shameek need to just stick with the EAT A BOOTY GANG agenda smh @duck bill mouth MUDASKUNT.

  • Mack II

If it don’t make dollars Nigga!! You know the rest- Dj Quik

  • Papi Peligro

Everybody Tweet Meeks album next time so we dont have to hear him talk about the bars he aint got but they waiting to be released on somebody.

    • Brash_E

There might not be a next album.

      • Appalled Revere

Ross gotta pull the plug on him.

  • El Chivo

meh he needs to tighten up he’s getting split like a losing sqaud in a premiere game

  • Papi Peligro

This beef just needs to end it hasn’t given us but 1 good song. Lifeline, Wanna Know have got to hang in the hall of fame of worst diss tracks of all time.

    • O SKI

I wonder how much of this beef is even real. This beef is boring as hell…

Roxanne vs. Roxanne Shante… Now that was beef… LoL

  • DaRealist Gemini Ever

That was one of the worse if not be worse dis records I’ve ever heard in my existence and I’ve heard every diss record since dis records ever started the problem is you really can go hard as somebody when you can’t really say anything negative about them I mean when a person looks better than you as more money than you more fame then you more hits than you overall is just more talented than you plus you’ve appeared on numerous songs with the person what else can you really say I mean that’s why people thought you couldn’t come back when Jay Z and I would take over but at the end the day it’s all about what you can come up with with your creativity I understand he’s on tour and didn’t have the ability probably to get in the studio he was rushed but he shoulda waited I mean if you want to come, hard

    • bubbylana

Wait you said a person who looks better? That’s a wild pause Elton John

      • SupaDoopaGhost1

I stopped reading when that nigga said that shit.

  • Brash_E

Why is this dude bringing up 50 and Ja Rule when he’s the Ja Rule in this situation?

    • Pernell Whitaker

Lol, that reference left me mad baffled too!!!

  • Hahahaha shit almost weaker than Drake’s first one

  • Aiden_Abetting

It’s a shame. Rap beefs on wax died when 50 killed ja. Rip to the real beef on wax.

  • Banksy

Garbage, Trash, belongs in a dumpster, rubbish, put it out on the curb, trash wants it, waste, toilet water, pure shit etc etc. This nigga just Ethered his self. He really should’ve left this on twitter because this boy is not built for the booth.

  • SwisherSweetT

Problem is for the first half of the song it sounded like he was mumbling. I couldn’t hear most of what he said

  • Markus

If Meek wants to really get at dude the right way he should get an old school beat, calm down on the mic so he can be heard clearly and maybe he can atone for this tragedy he calls a response. Weak,Meek. Very weak.

  • MrThree1Se7en

What he say? Delivery, Delivery, DELIVERY! Need to work with KRS-One on breath control….

    • Pernell Whitaker

Too true homie… Sounded like he actually had some nice blows in there, but I was straining to hear everything clearly!

  • Rockhard

    Damn

  • Rockhard

Don’t matter… I’ll never respect somebody that tries to stop a man from feeding his family. Ghostwriter or not. He’s feeding his family and doing things for kids and communities. Meek tried to interfere. Smh

  • truthhurts

Wack, just as I suspected it would be. Meek was supposed to use the same beat Drake used to slaughter him. As I said on yesterday’s post; his response would have listens but not as much of an impact as Drake’s responses to him. This shit is almost on the same level as Safaree diss to him. I knew he would talk about how much money he has and how much murder he’s about. That predictable flow is no good meek, we need some shit out of left field ie, No Vacaline, Hit Em Up, Either, Take Over ect…This shit really on Safaree level of diss tracks.

    • STFUUIgnants

Exactly, Drake haters want to paint everyone as Drake d-riders for speaking the truth. When the truth is most wanted Meek to respond with some Ether/No Vaseline/The B!tch in You… type ish but he didn’t. As a hip hop/lyricist fan I’m don’t give a ish about how much crack Meek sold and how much Drake didn’t, who’s from the streets and who aint, I call it how I see it. And Drake’s diss was better-much better regardless of who wrote it. I think Rick Ross (Meek’s Bawse) would have even had a better reply…much better flow anyway. Ex-prison guard or not

  • ANDRE SALAZAR

LMBCAO!!!!!! Canada/Toronto – 3-0!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!! This is the WORST song I’ve heard from this CLOWN EVER!!! If Meek is trying to prove he SUCKS at making music he PROVED it quite EASILY!!! Didn’t someone tell him that Meek rhymes with WEAK, which is what this track IS!!! Did he try to compare his money, & authenticity vs. Drake’s = Drake DOESN’T work for the POLICE!!! #BattyBoy

  • game213

Hahahaha Meek stop it, you exposing yourself. You just a nigga that got some cool songs on some hot beats. you got no bars for battle for a smart witty nigga like drake. This ghost writing thing is not as big a deal as you think it really is lol.

    • therealjjohnson

You’re right about Meek. But the ghost writing thing should be a big deal. I dont get why its not. Who knows if Drake even wrote #Back2Back ?

  • Not a big fan of either of these two.. but Drake has the better diss songs.
Meek needed to come back with “ether” and he came back blowing “bubbles”…

Damn, just a week ago Meek thought he was on fire and really feeling
himself hard, on some top of the world sh*t. Number one album…..
Co-headlining a a world tour….. He was charged up and ready to go at
the neck of anyone who wasn’t feeling him. Shoot, so much so that he
figured he’ll aim even higher and try to dethrone the top rapper in the
game. I mean, while he’s on a roll and everything, why the f*ck not,
right? Lol. He thought he was about to scoop up all of Drake’s fans
and elevate his former lowly position to the very heights of the rap
game, all in one clever death blow. It sounded like something that
    should work without a hitch.

He had his hitman and co-conspirator
Funk Flex in position, ready to fire the coup de grace. He had the fans
on his side, fresh from a #1 album. The coke in his nose was fueling
the fire in his veins and the superstar p*ssy was making him feel like
    he was THAT NIQQA…

Sooo…. what does Meek Mill do?? Well, he
took to his twitter page, as usual, to go in for the kill. To begin the
execution of the brilliant master plan. It looked like the plan was
going off without a hitch. The fans got heated. The lines started
blowing up. He got the hate snowballing and the momentum building in
his favor, and just when he was about to take the crown and assume his
    new position……

    BOOOOM!

Dude unwittingly built a bomb so
powerful that it blew up in his face. He used TNT that you just don’t
use in this rap game unless you are absolutely certified and verbally
qualified to handle it properly. And we all found out too soon that he
    was just a rookie.

The blast was so powerful, it literally took a
few days for the smoke to even settle. People were desperately
searching for Meek’s body in the rubble of his formerly active Twitter
account, calling out his name to empty responses. Fans began to move on
en masse, giving up hope of ever hearing from him again. Investigators
began piecing together the events leading up to his demise, after the
fact, and it started to become painfully apparent what actually
conspired once they were able to put the pieces together: he was the
architect of his own undoing. Lmao.

    But it was too late…..

    7
days ago, Meek Mill was the billboard champ. 7 days…. 7 days and
now his career is looking like it might be on life support. How do you
go from #1 album to laughing stock of the industry in 7 days? I mean,
he started off with what should’ve been a good point too. But he
painfully underestimated his opponent. He got caught up in the hype of
the popular hating. He heard the usual comments. He figured he was
facing a “pop tart”; a softy; a mushy r&b singer who was all hype
    and no self-penned bars.

    Well he thought wrong.

He was led astray. Was it the public’s fault? Maybe? But maybe the coke? Maybe the p*ssy? The quest for power? Who knows??

    But here we are….

    Witnessing
something unprecedented in the history of music. I mean, seriously,
this is a historical first. Nobody goes from chart topping success to
low level mockery in this small amount of time. Nobody. Except Milli
    Vanilli……. and now Meek Mill.

I think this should serve as a
future lesson for any persons wanting to advance themselves at the cost
of others. Meek’s fans have all begun to do an about face on him. He’s
facing a Milli Vanilli backlash (ironic, since he’s framing Drake as a
Milli Vanilli type) over his inability to battle in a fight he started.
As a man, that sh*t is just pathetic.

We have to assume he’s now
going to make another diss track since the public has already deemed his
current one totally ineffective and refuses to embrace it. But is this
the logical way to go from here? Have we learned anything from the
past yet? I suspect it’s just gonna be more nails in the coffin for
this dumb boy. He’s blind, and obviously being out-witted and acting on
some really moist emotion. But then, if he stays quiet and leaves it
as is, he knows he takes the L. Being that he’s the literally loudest
rapper in the game (and on a message board) and seeks out our attention
and admiration, you know there’s only one thing he can do now:

Add fuel to his own fire and setup himself up for even more failure.

  • ChiVa02

Meek….you need a ghostwriter too homie..

  • TruthHurts

Meeks whole diss track sounded like a drunk Mush Mouth rapping in Drakes flow. The 6 bars that I could decipher weren’t that hot, the rest needed a translator. Weak response for real!

  • Felix Mayfield

Meek needs a ghostwriter and a translator.

  • dbfromdc

MEEK NEEDS TO GO BACK IN THE LAB!!! THE SONG WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!THE DIS IS TRASH!!!

  • The Arsonist

Both disses were fairly weak, Meek having the weaker of the three. Im glad I grew up in the 80’s and 90;s and remember the LL and Kool Moe Dee battle and every battle since then but these days these MC’s aint really taking the art seriously, now I understand why dudes really kept their mouths shut after the Control verse.

  • RayStantz

The only thing I heard in that whole rant was another reference track by Q Miller…. Drake is trash… Meek is trash… worst battle ever… the end.

  • A’jay

Funk Flex tried saving Meek’s ass,i can even do better than this shii on a freestyle after waking up…

  • Pingback: AllHipHop » Ja Rule Responds To Meek Mill Name Dropping Him On “Wanna Know” Drake Diss()

  • TheAfroRican

What the hell was this? Was Meek really a battle rapper before he got signed? I can’t tell with this diss record. It sounded just as bad as that Iggy Azalea freestyle and/or as bad as his “hits”. The only thing that was clever about this diss record was the Sonny Carson excerpt….just like Drake using the Blue Jays picture smh.

Please somebody end this wack ass beef, immediately.

  • Obi Won

Wasn’t feeling the young thug flow, that ish is horrible, but when he got back to himself it picked up. If this was just a Warm up like he claimed, then cool Meek can still catch up and kill. But if this is it, then Meek is done!!

    • ursocalledgod

this nigga done aint no catching up. you cant send no weak azz warning shot at a nigga that clapped at you twice. then you wait 3 days and put this hosh posh of bullshyt out? who the fucc uses soundbytes when you trying to get at a nigga? smh

      • Obi Won

Smh lol, this was unexpected and just bad

  • The Legendary Troll

Meek: Yo Nicki, so did I kill em or nah?

Nicki: You stood up for yourself baby, thats all that matters.

    • rocnation30

      Lmfao

  • The Legendary Troll

The reasons why this diss is trash

    – it has too many intros
-Too many sound bites. Hard to sit through em all
    -None of Meeks lines stick
-The ja/50 line was lame because of the abrupt ending without expounding on it
-Drake aint a fighter, so bringing up fighting incidences like the diddy thing or the movies doesnt hurt his image
    -Meek bars is light

  • Reazonero

He already said all of that on Twitter though…

  • Meek…. You see, this whole battle is exactly what’s wrong with today’s hip hop. Nobody studied a f*cking thing! If 50 Cent vs. Ja Rule is your best frame of reference then you have a serious problem. Drake’s sh*t was soft and felt like some chamber music n*ggas would take a dump to. Imagine if LL Cool J came out with “I need love” as the soundtrack for his diss record? WTF?! Now Meek comes out with this incoherent sh*t sounding like he gargled with bleach before he recorded. It’s like he’s sitting on a corner with the old school boom box pressing record and pause and fast forward while sipping an Old E / peroxide slurpy. Wack as f*ck! Point blank? Ain’t no winner in this sh*t when two of the people battling show that they haven’t studied the battle on a world stage and don’t understand the level of seriousness you’re supposed to take this at. My final judgement?

    Drake = 0
    Meek = 0
    Hip Hop = -2500

    • rocnation30

Lmao… But drake won… I know I get it you hate drake so much you still won’t give em his credit… And that lol cool j battle was trash as well…

      • How did Drake win by releasing a slow jam diss record? You could f*ck your girl to that sh*t!

Naaaah homie! There is no winner in this one. Both of these dude are amateurs and showed the worst. Major loss for hip hop.

      • rocnation30

You sound crazy your favorite artist crowned off and blessed drake.. Jay z , Kanye west, NAS all have said drake is the next best thing…. U sound like a hater saying he isn’t these are the best we talking here… And as far as a slow jam record the whole entire internet world and social media is goin crazy over the diss record … The only one who isn’t is u because u were hoping meek would win… But I told you before this started drake is special… The dude has God given talent we haven’t seen that shit since Jayz….meek mills or nobody in rap today could really go at drake bar for bar maybe Jay……think about it this dude was supposed to be done after flex and meek lied and said he has ghostwriters but guess what nothing happened he will still push a million units because those type of artist meaning the great will never fall to internet lies it’s impossible ……
        1 JAy z
        2. Drake
        3 PAC
        4. Kanye
        5. Fab

That’s the great above read it digest it

      • First of all, f*ck both of these dudes when it comes to emceeing. Meek ain’t even in my top 200! And with Drake singing on 80% of his albums, don’t even ask me where I rank him. Only mediocre fans from a mediocre era worship mediocre artists and crown a mediocre artist in a sub-mediocre battle. You’re playing yourself…

      • Bk chuck

you ever heard of a warning shot? I can admit i didn’t like the beat to the first one but the bars on it where better than what meek dropped his track was a 5 at best the beat and samples were better than meek bars. lyrically drake killed both tracks if he wrote them. meek let the streets down period

      • A warning shot???? What you’re talking about goes against the very common sense of basic living.

If you’re out here in these streets and someone bucks at you on two different occasions, is your shot going to be a warning shot? That sounds dumb.

If you ask me I blame Rick Ross’s fake ass for this one. Ross is fake and so he can’t give proper lessons on how to prepare for battle. It’s like the blind leading the blind.

That’s why this sh*t is so fake. Hell, even Drake didn’t get properly schooled by Lil Wayne on how to prepare. You don’t kick battle raps over LL Cool J’s “I need love” soft type beat. What the f*ck was that soft ass n*gga thinking? Okay he came out with the second track which was better. But why? If I gotta put a hot one in your dome I’m not going back to the scene of the crime to do it again. GTFOH! I’m going to send a deadly shot the first time. Anything else and you’re playing Hazel The Maid on some trying to clean up your mistake type sh*t. For that and that reason alone I call this battle a loss for both parties.

    • main0

Sorry black Jay that back to back was dope.

      • Oh so with the 1st song sounding like chamber f*ck music he gets a pass on, but you’ll take the second one, right? GTFOH! Ain’t supposed to be no do overs in this sh*t. Drake doesn’t get any points on that issue alone! Please…

      • God Body

yeah it’s like people forgot Drake is the new milli vanilli in this. He gets -2500 point just for that before he makes any headway against Meeks, which witht his mediocrity of a release should put them at about even.

How can anyone say Back to Back was any good when we know someone ghostwrote it for him, which is the allegation he’s trying play down in the first place. Do overs and ghostwriting in one song against an even weaker reply. I really don’t get why anyone is giving either of them any props.

      • main0

1st track was wack… I think everyone agreed. Next song was dope. Let me try to break it down, the 1st track in a rap battle is usually always a volley. If meek dropped his wack track right after charged up he wouldn’t be getting killed like he was now. He started the battle and made us wait too long. He might comeback with a part 2 next month. Would we be interested??? probably not as, many people feeling this battle is over. Also back to back by itself is dope Which is what I stated so I don’t unders your backlash about that statement

    • God Body

By far the most comprehensively accurate analysis I’ve read about this subject. You’re doing gods work.

      • I mean the dudes that are out here defending any one of these cats CLEARLY don’t know a f*cking thing about the culture. It’s embarrassing to read this sh*t…

      • 5% Hov

you two trippin….. Back to Back was on point…

      • Once again I have to clarify to another Drake Stan…. If you use a love making track as the foundation to a diss song, you’ve already lost. The reason nobody wins this battle is clear to people who take the culture seriously. It doesn’t take 2 tracks to make 1 point about the same damn target BEFORE the artist even responds to one! That proves your initial message was weak and that Drake felt the need to bring out a mop bucket. They both get straight zeros for this. And anybody that thinks otherwise is on some fandom sh*t.

      • 5% Hov

        “another Drake Stan.”

WTF??? Bro… dont talk to me like that… I said its on point – now Im a stan… ?? LOL FOh period havin ass nicca….

“They both get straight zeros for this.”…. youre a fool. Stop commentin on dis den and keep ya mouf closed…

      • Flawed opinion but I respect it nonetheless.

      • 5% Hov

        ….Not u too God….?….smh

    • God Body

It’s like watching two sheep savage each other. It’s homo erotic sword play in rhyme, it’s special bus / short bus roasting, it’s Liechtenstein versus Vatican City in soccer, it’s a Jamaican sound clash were the opponents are using speak and spell electronic devices as their main amplifier. It’s the personification of mediocrity. My big toes produced more fire than either of these ‘rappers’.

    • The Legendary Troll

Back to Back was a knock out blow wtf you talkin bout? The 90s are over dawg get over it

      • Yeah…. If you consider having to release TWO diss records in succession to get ONE point across BEFORE receiving the target’s FIRST response a “knock out blow”….. That’s almost MORE embarrassing than Meek’s response. That’s embarrassing to the culture and I’d delete that screen image if I were you.

      • The Legendary Troll

You must be related to Meek

      • Nah.. But I am related to hip hop. Judging from your pic you’re related to R&B. It’s that or….errrr…. Canada? Hahahahaha…

      • Brindle

        lmao

      • Wtfcity

I understand exactly what you are saying. A far as the 90s go, these weak ninjas think these clowns actually have skills. Shaking my head. The golden era is just that for a reason. If these fools studied that maybe hip-hop would be headed i the right direction.

    • 5% Hov

      Na…

      Drake = 2
      SB = 1
      Meek = 0

    • Brindle

Agreed 100%, both these cats soft, Meek tried to go hard by roping up the boy momma and sh!t but this just too delicate…

    • Black Adam

Hip hop is definitely the looser in this whole thing. Big time.

  • swift

yall niggazs hatin dickridin…… It sounds like the first diss isnt aimed at drake. he talkin about somebody wh “HAS NO MONEY IN REAL LIFE” that certainly aint about drake. the second half is just a teaser. let it breathe……
    TO this generation.
this is the last real battle yall are gonna get.Nobody is gonna want to battle after the rule changed where niggas can have ghostwriters and niggas writing punchlines for em. This is the last real MC battle on wax. who gonna wanna hear somebody diss record Kendrick Lamar when ghostwriting is allowed.? This is it….for this generation
yall were so excited when Drake baited Meek with a weak verse. Now let it work. ….and enjoy this last diss record battle

    • Knight

Ghostwriter or not, do u really think Kendrick would have came back with some lame shit like this after hearing drakes 2 disses? Be honest with yourself. Meek claim to be the best also, so a ghostwriter shouldn’t mean shit!

  • Jleeo

is it garbage day? someone needs to take this “track” and place it on the curb… sooooooo wack… im not a meek fan, but with all the smack he be talking, and the smack down drake be giving him, i expected better! who told this guy this crap was good enough to release?!? can barely understand this mumbling fool… toooooooo many audio clips…. and the whole track doesnt even sound good…. r.i.p mr. minaj.

  • ursocalledgod

THIS NIGGA TOOK THREE DAYS TO COME WITH THIS BULLSHYT? LMAO its a wrap. I never really fucced with either one especially meek his delivery and basic azz bars annoy me. say what yall want about the boy drake the boy got bars. he BODIED weak mills. this just digs the grave deeper.

  • WaterMELON_RANGER_CHRI$$$

Why yall hating Drake admitted he a singer and if im.not mistaken all if em use ghost writers NEYO The Dream..look at the song with him and the dream from the earlier days and tell me that aint a blended track(Shut It Down). as far as im concerned he he sing on all his songs with that “SLOEWD UP BEAT THAT MEAN ITS TIME REFILL YO DRINKS CUZ THE BEAT JUST WENT LEFT” moment…. they boy never claimed to be gangsta like Chris Brown so Meek Might as well take on.Trey Songz is what it started off as in my opinion on the type of battle it was anyway

Bodybags People “He got killed by a Singing Nigg@”

    • swift

      please
Just drake calling himself a singing nigga Means he’s admitting he doesnt write his own lyrics..Which IS THE WHOLE PROBLEM. even calls into question whether he even wrote that verse. THINK ABOUT IT.

      • swift

and yes that picture is drake photoshopped into MILLI VANILLI. Two singing frauds.

  • Saiyan Prince

Remember when ‘Takeover’ dropped and everybody thought it was over for Nas, especially after that wack ‘H to the Omo’ dis? Mad people thought Nas was finished. Then there was ‘Ether’. Sheesh! Point being, don’t count out the underdog in a fight. Jay tore Nas up on that Summer Jam screen, just like Aubrey got Meek with the ‘Back to Back’ and the Blue Jays artwork and all. But all it takes is one solid chin check and the fight can be over.

    • 5% Hov

      “one solid chin check ”

      Meek aint Nas

Oh no doubt! But it could still happen. For Meek’s sake anyway.

This nigga is gonna be on the #ClosedCaptionTour with Migos, Keef, & Thug…

  • byrd

There are some people that are on some powerful ish this morning let me break it down for you Drake knew that Meek didn’t like him he even said it on the Angie Martinez show he didn’t say no names but he knew Meek was gonna try something & he waited when this ish 1st started Drake out smarted Meek by buying 1 of his bigest haters Charlamagne 6 bottles of wine & then put a pic up of Joe Carter of the world series winning home run going back to back against the Phillies Charlamagne gave Meek donkey of the day today & he a big fan of Meeks another person on here said that his song last night was luke warm bruh stop it the song was trash & another person said Meek need to do a freestyle to redeem himself c’mon man y’all need to just stop the song charge up & back to back was ok the moral of the story is Drake out smarted Meek & that’s that some people making themselves look stupid Drake was steps ahead of Meek & that’s it.

    • King Kredible

Drake is better than Meek. Meek fans can rant all they want, at the end of the day they know it’s true.

      • byrd

        Yup Exactly.

      • Celz

They both lost can you admit that?

      • LatarionMilton

        How Sway

      • Celz

Facts beat jokes any day.. And if Drake is the best… What spot is Quentin Miller? 2nd? Co best? Lol.. Meek got made fun of and rightfully so.. But barbershop across the land just took Drake out the running.. He better not ever mention Kendrick again lmao.. J Cole just passed Drake up on the rankings too…

      • LatarionMilton

But Drakes jokes wasn’t true? That is his girls tour, Meek is heavy on Twitter, Drake was featured on Meeks top singles, Drake is a singing nigga that was on his ass.

      • Celz

What’s worse though? Having a famous girl or gettin pissed on and slapped.. Having a bad twitter problem or frontin like you’re top 5 with a ghost writer.. I would take Meeks L’s over Drakes lol..

      • LatarionMilton

Oh I’d definitely take Meeks L too lol

      • Celz

Don’t get me wrong.. Drake winning the battle tho..

  • pauleyPee

So I’m 32……….. And I’ve been around long enough to remember Milli Vanilli………. Apparently, Meek’s camp are special ed. and couldn’t read Milli Vanilli’s wikipedia entry.

Milli Vanilli WON A GRAMMY!!! For a song that not only did they not write (which WAS NOT the controversy), but because they weren’t even on the track. AT ALL!!! They just danced in the music video and mimed everything. They didn’t sing the song, write the song, or record the song yet were parading around as artists. THAT IS FRAUD!

Having collaborating partners is not fraud… Especially if those partners listen to you enough to mimic your style and come up with material that will fit you. This is the “music business”. You do whatever it takes to get the job done. Especially when you’re a huge artist and the demand for your material is sky high.

    • Celz

I was around that time too.. Ghost writing is ok in other genres because the artists sing and play instruments which is arguably just as hard as writing. Since rappers don’t they are expected to write. These reference tracks go far past collaborating.

      • pauleyPee

I could see if it was a battle… And the raps were written by somebody else… Or if it were a hijacked freestyle… I would totally cosign the argument. But we’re talking about a regular ass song. A regular track. What does it matter? lol

    • Do better

What if you found out Jay-Z, Nas, Jadakis, Eminem or Pac didn’t write their stuff. My whole late teens, early twenties would be ruined. Would they still be on people top MC list. I think that answer is no. Why does this guy get a pass. I do mess with his music, but in my eyes he can’t talk about being the best,(maybe best entertainer, not MC). EVERYTHING IS SUSPECT NOW, EVEN DISS RECORD!!

    • Vincent West

Milli Vanili were caught lipsyncing bruh

      • pauleyPee

        Right… What are you missunderstanding?

It’s not just the bars, the delivery was trash too lmaoooo

      • Poseidon

Co-sign. The bars AND delivery were all trash. Period. Nothing to do with who’s rapping.

  • Makoto Shishio

After this diss track, meek is gonna need a ghost writer cause that $#!T was weak af.

    • Mack II

He need Game to give him a 101 on how to write a diss song.

  • Mos High

Again we have a problem here has his girlfriend Nikki wrote every single rhyme she spit? Lets be real Safree didnt write anything? The irony of his girlfriend having fake breasts!!! and butt!! He shouldn’t call anybody fake or not real right now.

Suppose Drake had 1 verse written or assisted big deal. Now if someone writes all of his music which we know is not true then it’s a deal. Meek clap back was weak and everyone knows it. This who is a real ni##a is damn foolishness. What does that even mean? If you use that term real nigga your a follow fashion clown

    • Brindle

      how you know Safaree didn’t?

  • Knight

U fools make me laugh! Meek gets a pass for his whack diss track because drakes first track was lukewarm???? Let’s look at it from this angle…….meek talks a bunch of trash, drake throws a jab, meek does nothing, drake give him a few hard body blows….meek does nothing….then meek comes days later and throws a paper ball at drake lmaoooo. The streets wouldn’t give him a pass, so y should hip hop???

    • Poseidon

That’s a perfect analogy. That’s exactly how all of this played out. The classic case of the bully getting that work from the nerd. Everybody’s laughing at Meek right now because of what HE did, not Drake.

      • Knight

I guess u are the only person that see it. They talking about everything but rap! Ok, drake got pissed on….ok drake didn’t write a song or two….ok ok ok. Nobody is tripping on the fact meek started all this because a a grown man didn’t TWEET his album? Lmao. The non writing, pissy Jew is STILL whooping his ass on the Mic lmaooooo

    • Brindle

if we sticking to streets and hiphop, then these fools is both trash so you in the wrong lane… Drake finally responds to someone dissing him and the 1st track was wack, Meek 1st track was wack, Drake 2nd track was better but still wack and not much better than Meeks 1st, plus he supposedly got urinated on by TI’s homie… all I see is losers… but Meek still gets one more track…

      • Jmo-Texas

Agreed! It’s what I been saying for days..both are trash!! Only a fool would expect a “epic battle” from 2 mediocre artists! It’s like watching Chingy and Peety Pablo battle!

      • Brindle

lmfao @ Chingy vs Peety, that sh!t would be hilarious though

      • Knight

        Lmaooo that was funny

I think that answer is no. Why does this guy get a pass. I do mess with his music, but in my eyes he can’t talk about being the best,(maybe best entertainer, not MC).

I agree. But it’s all speculation at this point. Until u get proof u can’t discredit him. I ain’t saying he s goat by any means, but I ain’t gonna discredit a man because another nigga pissy over a tweet that didn’t happen. I work off facts. And as of right now, bar for bar, drake is winning this so called rap battle.

  • Celz

Who was Quentin riding thru the 6 wit? Puffy almost caught a domestic… Cot damn! Facts over jokes all day..

Back to Back was better but damn that hurt.. Drake won the battle so far.. But you’re in denial if you think it was one sided..

  • JerZeBoy

meek don’t have this type of bars in him (loss) – Undertaker(wrestler) coming out music. This was really bad, and im not even a fan of drakes……..smh

  • I think Meek didn’t lose people are just into drakes character. Lol that’s what makes his fans. Meek might be a little not relevant but I think he paused himself on how fast the diss came out. Diss losing is not Meeks character it’s like chess just wait.

and mentioned him in the song … guys like him crave that kind of pub … its like the time jayz mention star from star n buckwild in a song …. star puts that @ the top of one of his major accomplishments .. you gotta remember these guys are just lipservice so to get thier name cememented in a track thats actually getting air play is kind of big for thier brand .. people who didnt know of them will check them out and its just free publicity … whether it was done in a good or bad way … cause guys like charlmange thrive off negative stuff so if its in negative fashion its in even more success to them … but this drake and charl is still more success for charl cause hes used drake as an enemy all these years to troll listeners and now him and drake have a chance @ being cool which means he may sit down @ the breakfast club which for charlmange is the ultimate CHECKMATE !! ….
