(AllHipHop News) O’Shea Jackson, Jr. who portrays his iconic father, Ice Cube, in the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton, which hits theaters today, recently spoke with AllHipHop and exclusively gave his thoughts on the recent Meek Mill-Drake beef. The fleeting beef, according to the Cali native is “a healthy rivalry.”

O’Shea, Jr, an emerging rapper who goes by the name, OMG, later explained his disappointment with Meek’s anticipated response to Drake. The lethargic replydidn’t live up to the hype because of the long build up,” he said. With that in mind, OMG wasn’t too impressed with Drake’s “Back to Back,” saying it was “whatever.”

In response to the lingering war of waxed words, Ice Cube’s son shared, “With this whole situation we got to see how far that goes. That first track was so-so, and that second was one was like, ‘Ueh.” In the spirit of Hip-Hop he then challenged, “I want to see if Meek will come back. You know, it’s a healthy rivalry; we might get some good bars out of it.”
