The Game Comments On Beef With Young Thug, Addresses 50 Cent & Chris Brown (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) The feud between The Game and Young Thug had seemed to cool down, but the issues reheated recently when the Compton native spoke about Thugger during an interview with The Breakfast Club. The two rappers went back-and-forth on social media, and Game then fired shots at the Atlanta rhymer during his performance on Skee TV.

DJ Skee also got Game to sit down for an interview for his show. The Q&A included the “100” spitter talking about his new 2-disc album The Documentary 2 and working with Dr. Dre, but the conversation eventually turned to the ongoing conflict between Game and Thug.

“Girl Scout cookies – that’s it,” expressed Game when asked about beefing with Thug.

Long before Game was taking aim at his latest rap rival, he went up against his former G-Unit boss 50 Cent. Despite not publicly reconciling with Fif in recent years, Game insisted he does not have any issues with the Power actor/producer at the moment.

“I haven’t seen 50 in like 10 years, and I don’t got no beef with him these days. I watch Power sometimes,” states Game.

In addition, Game offered high praise for Chris Brown. He called the R&B superstar a “good dude” and “one of the best performers.”

      he bi polar

      • WeakSauce

That’s the word on the street lol

      • WIWYCB

youre giving him too much credit by calling it bi-polar. I highly doubt he’s bi-polar. Its simply immaturity.

  • Kevin Marchetto

He’s got no issue with 50 right now, but give him a day or two

    • Charismatic eNegro Jef Vinson

He’s waiting for 50 to say ANYTHING.

    • therealest1

You along with us all know it with his bipolar ass.

  • baller187

dre music has has fallen off jackin us off with the DETOX BULLSHIT FOR 15 YEARS

    • Anthony Mason

Like I said before I was in high school when that s*** was supposed to come out. I dont care if he dropped the hottest album out now I still won’t cop it…..

He took half my life so far bulls***ing with that trash. He was by a long shot my favorite producer as a kid…..then I found out he had ghost producers. Scott storches keyboard and production skills make Dr. Dre look like milli vanilli…..

Meanwhile….5-10 years ago I was trying to emulate “Dr. Dre’s” sound and ended up making some beats better than his s***. Oh well….. In 2015 if you are too scared to drop beats and albums that means you are shook of the competition….blllaaaatttt!!!!

      • Papi Peligro

        LOL.

    • Q.

      “COMPTON” = DETOX

      • Anthony Mason

I kind of think that is what ended up happening….

When they dropped that call me a doctor garbage years ago I was like….it’s over…..S*** sounded like a robotic symphony mixed with evanesence or something…..

      • Q.

The co-producers pretty much confirmed in an interview that Compton is essentially “Detox.” He scrapped 15 years worth of songs and put together an LP in 6 months off of pure inspiration.

Funny thing about “Call Me A Doctor” is Dre didn’t even produce that record.

      • Anthony Mason

Yeah I knew he didnt produce that one either.

      • Anthony Mason

By Dre’s cadence on call me a doctor it sounds like Eminem wrote his lines for him too.

Funny how when some of these dudes get the big big money they get old they get lazy and uninspired. Dre is a producer not a rapper so he should be hot into his 60s but he is not even there yet and he is wack now….

I hope he just gets the courage up to release the boatloads of good beats he scrapped. Just because he doesn’t find them to be “perfect” doesn’t mean we won’t really really like them. He seems so damn insecure about his craft sometimes…

Eminem needs to do an album with all bass brothers beats. He sounds so dope on that style of production. They gave him his push at the beginning so I think it would be a nice way to finish his career when he decides to….

      • Q.

Dre’s always had ghostwriters since NWA, that’s no secret–I give him credit for at least picking good writers, and delivering his lines well. Don’t hold your breath on those vaulted songs; Dre’s notorious for scrapping finished songs that artists he worked with thought were banging. Bottom line–If he doesn’t like the song, it’s not going to see the light of day. He’s not lazy, he’s a perfectionist. Everybody says he still grinds in the studio, even though he’s worth a bill. already.

      • Anthony Mason

Well what he likes does mean 2 s***s to me. I want to hear it (the music).

Based on what he has released the last 15 years tell you right now he is not all that he thinks he is….since 1999 possibly his taste in music has changed DRASTICALLY……

Some people call me a perfectionist at times or super obsessive compulsive in my career…Do I use that as an excuse or crutch? No. That is bush league and he knows it….

End of the day I’m just a guy here on this earth doing what I do in my personal and professional life to the best of my ability. DRE is a bit pretentious and always has been…

      • Q.

        ???

      • Anthony Mason

I had mad typos…..haha! I was on the run. Busy day….

All im saying is Dr. DRE is not a perfectionist because his music is not perfect and a bulk of it he did not produce solo. His stuff the last 10 years has been mediocre at best. He did put some bangers together for Eminem, and 50 though….like 13 years ago…..

      • Q.

Dre may lack musical chops, but he has vision. All those projects with his name on it didn’t come about by accident. He knows what he wants to hear in the end. All these talented artists and co-producers vouch for him. People say the same things about Kanye’s music. People tend to forget, Hip-Hop music up until recently was mostly sample-based, meaning to be a good producer you needed a good ear foremost. With exceptions, most of the legendary producers weren’t formally trained in music. This is why you see big-time producers bring more musical talent on board as their repertoires grow. That’s the smart thing to do!

      • Anthony Mason

Bruh he just Isn’t the best now and he knows it…

He is super rich….Awesome…..That does nothing for my ears or intrest in his music….. I don’t even use his headphones because they don’t meet my needs musically. If they did I would….

It’s cool though. He seems to like where he is at so my opinion means nothing to someone with his ego and level of success….

I am just another dissapointed former fan who thought he was the best producer alive and found out he hired the best to make himself stand out…..

For real though…some of Eminem and Porters joints s*** on Dre and that is his own camp no?

      • Q.

I don’t know about this big ego with Dre you’re talking about. I never heard him really say he’s the GOAT producer. When you think about it, Dre is actually one of the most reclusive out of the legends–he shys from the spotlight in most cases. And a lot of people who work with him says he’s passionate and humble. Their words, not mine.

      • Anthony Mason

        Irony…song called “big egos”….lol.

Way I look at it…being a recluse doesn’t make you humble. I’m not saying he is a jerk . Dude might be super cool to work with and have vision! I just perceive things how I do as does everyone else…..

      • Q.

To each his own opinion. Chances are, if you got the chance to know half your idols personally, you’d be disappointed. That’s just people. I’ve never felt that Dre was the “best producer”–that was mainstream hype sold to the masses, just like the idea that “Jay-Z is the best rapper alive.” Riiiight. There are a ton of underrated artists in the game: take DJ Quik, for example–he’s a beast on the production tip, but he gets little mainstream recognition.
Dre put his stamp on the culture, made a lot of money. All the extra, dark sh!t these cats did to get on, I’m not into. I’m here for the music, first… My main gripe is with brothas and sistas who abuse this platform and coon for a quick buck or an extra second of attention, and the imbalance in music.

      • Anthony Mason

Nice! I like your balanced and mature approach. I also appreciate your respect for the QUALITY side. If an auditor came in, most of these new cats would be lacking big time. Lol! Unfortunatley….THERE IS NO CRITERIA. It just gets lamer and lamer…..

Producer wise….when I look at the body of work and all…..Dj Quik tops my list and so does Kanye (yeah yeah). On the Keyboard….Storch is a mega beast. Mablib from a creativity standpoint….I am open minded. I’m not a producer groupie type dude….

I still see spots of growth here and there…. Right now I want some new Run The Jewels tracks because El P is my favorite dude right now. His creative process in organic. Those 2 are awesome together too him and bigga.

      • Q.

I’m generally unimpressed by most of the music I’ve been hearing in recent years. I can easily think of ten producers off the top who are just as significant as Dre. When you think about past catalogs of hits and classics, most of these newjacks don’t measure up to the legacy IMO. As far as newcomers, some of the beats are cool, but weak lyrics tend to ruin songs for me… I like the music I’ve heard out of the TDE camp. There’s talent in the underground. Run the Jewels is cool–it’s dope they made the “odd couple” situation work and are thriving in this new environment. I’ve been fvcking with El-P since the Co Flow days. There needs to be a mass onslaught of high-level artists to reform this culture. I like what David Banner had to say in recent interviews. I’m looking forward to hearing “The God Box.”

      • Anthony Mason

There needs to be reform. It seems like some of the heavy hitters are coming back around with some hunger again. I like to see that. I hope trap dies out in 2016. It has become a virulent disease…..

      • Q.

I don’t think trap is going to die, but there needs to be a balance. There’s more going on in the world than drug-dealing and Fendi raps. The youth deserve better.

      • Anthony Mason

Yup. That’s why I can generally stand behind Lupe and how he approaches his content and balances his messages. He is trying to give the youth something that transcends the street life but isn’t corny and can be listened to by heads.

I’m interested to see where the new production trends go. In the last 5 years it has already crossed over to dubstep and other electronic styles.

I’ll say this….that Ovo sound is here to stay. Weeknd “the hills” goes hard as a MF. I have some beats I made a couple years back that are on that same bass heavy environmental/industrial vibe….

      • Q.

Interesting, the “Hills” beat is similar to the type I hear a lot in trap music… I call ’em “horror show” beats LOL…always with that dark, ambient sound. The electronic sound is alright, not my main preference. I think it’s overdone, IMO. I understand the new style of beats pan out better economically for producers, because they’re sampling far less, but I tend to like more of a soulful sound…A lot of these current songs sound like Nightmare on Elm Street soundtracks to me. LOL
You say you make beats? Got any of your stuff posted?

      • Anthony Mason

Lol. “Horror show” beats. That beat just sounds hardcore to me…..

The trap stuff does sound dark but it isn’t on that level. All chants and ultra compressed drums that are super lame with your average trap joint beats. The bass on that song is immaculate and his vocals are angelic sounding. It is incredibly well mixed. I just know because I do the beat stuff myself.

I will try to get stuff posted for you to hear. I have a soulful joint you might really like….

  • MrNoName2K

Game laid back like a MF lol..thats whats up. I wanna see when he gonna do about this “stitches” dude tho, dude been hilariously popping off at the mouth lately..

  • ApricotNapalm

Game has nothing to talk about if he’s not discussing some1 else -whether a shout out or a diss…. . Other ppls name in his mouth is what keeps him relevant -not his lyrical skill, sad because he’s not complete dirt- i’ve heard sht that made me think he had potential, but his career is marred by talking sht & apologizing- and every verse contains somebody else name. i thought it was a fad…..but he never grew out of it. I guess he’s in his second childhood

  • Juz Sayin

    Game album da truth!!!!!!

  • IDNTGIVAFUCKBOUTNOTHING

Niggas hatin on the Game when he STILL One of the Realest Rappers Out to this Day.
