Drake, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd & Kanye West Among Top Artists On Spotify’s “Year In Music” Lists

FIND OUT WHICH OTHER ARTISTS MADE THE STREAMING SERVICE’S 2015 TALLIES

(AllHipHop News) The end of the year lists continue to roll out. Spotify has now released its “Year In Music” tallies, and several Hip Hop acts made very good showings on the streaming service’s look back at 2015.

Drake was by far the biggest star among U.S. Spotify users in 2015. The OVO leader was named number one for Top Five Artists, Top Five Males, and Top Five Albums (If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late). He totaled 1.8 billion streams and 46 million listeners.

Drizzy’s YMCMB comrade Nicki Minaj led the Top Five Females. Breakout R&B star The Weeknd placed in the Top Five in four different categories. Spotify’s “Year In Music” lists also included Kanye West, Beyoncé, Eminem, Rihanna, Fetty Wap, Big Sean, Rae Sremmurd, and Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment.
