Talk About Bad To Worse…Sheesh!

A judge ruled that Meek Mill violated his probation and now the Philly rapper is looking at more jail time.

The rapper is set to be sentenced February 5, 2016 because he was unable to keep the court abreast of his travels.

Nicki Minaj and others pleaded on Meek’s behalf and promised to keep him in line Thursday to no avail. According to USA Today, “Mill offered emotional testimony…about his rudderless childhood in gritty North Philadelphia.”

Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley had already let Meek off without jail time in a 2009 drug and gun case, and was not amenable to hearing it this time. had heard it all before.

“How many times am I supposed to give him a second chance?” she said. The judge also suggested that probation may no longer be the solution anymore, alluding to jail time.

“The chance you gave me definitely changed my life and changed my family’s life,” Mill testified. “If you didn’t give me a chance, I probably wouldn’t be at this place I’m at now.”

Nicki Minaj attempted to paint a picture of Meek as a man working towards a higher self.

“He doesn’t have a lot of structure. He can be irresponsible. Since I’ve come in his life, I think I’ve been working on that a little bit. … He’s just getting accustomed to being an adult,” Nicki Minaj said last week.

Meek cannot perform or work before his February 5 sentencing, not even in his native Philadelphia.

In court, Meek tried to appeal to the judge.
