David Banner‘s upcoming album The God Box is currently scheduled to be released in February, but in the meantime he has decided to unveil some of the work that will not appear on the LP. One of those leftovers, “The Cross,” comes with a feature from X and production from Gensu Dean. The track finds Banner rhyming over driving production as he provides an inward-looking perspective and understanding of his faith and his vision, painting a clear picture of his current frame of mind. The God Box will reach us next year and it will come with contributions from Big K.R.I.T., Bun B, and more.
