“If you’re going to do something and influence people, you can’t be arrogant when someone gets inspired. When people get inspired, you can’t fault them for that. That makes you look crazy,” said Rocky. “They do say imitation is the best form of flattery.”

He added, “That man is doing his thing. He’s doing what he’s supposed to do. He’s getting fly. He’s f*cking b*tches. He’s making music. I don’t see the problem.”

In addition, the conversation with Ebro In The Morning featured Rocky speaking on the upcoming A$AP Yams inspired Cozy Tapes. The Harlem native revealed fans can expect to hear a lot of New York City based acts on the project such as Action Bronson, Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, and Tanboys.

“[Cozy Tapes is] the Yams album he was working on before he passed. It’s basically like an A$AP collective like your Ruff Ryders’ Ryde or Die Vol. 1 or [The Diplomats’] Diplomatic Immunity,” explained Rocky. “[Yams] wrote down in his notes, and he would tell me who he wanted on there. We were about to start working on it.”

“Yams Day” will stream live via Yahoo.
