Meek Mill Speaks With Philadelphia Students Prior To Probation Violation Sentencing (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) On Thursday morning, Meek Mill visited the Boys’ Latin School in his hometown of Philadelphia. According to reports, the DreamChasers rapper offered the students words of encouragement. He also spoke about avoiding incarceration and overcoming tough circumstances.

“You don’t gotta go to jail to be a tough guy. Going to jail makes you a fool,” Meek is quoted telling the kids.

The 28-year-old entertainer (born Robert Williams) is scheduled to appear before Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley today (February 5) for sentencing as a result of a probation violation. He could be facing jail time.

In December, Judge Brinkley ruled Meek violated his probation for a second time for a 2008 drug and gun conviction. It was determined Meek traveled to different cities without filing a travel request form with his parole officer.
