Homicide Case Of Future’s Former Bodyguard Takes A Turn

THE CASE OF FUTURE’S MURDERED BODYGUARD TAKES A TURN!

(AllHipHop News) According to reports from New York’s PIX11, a man wanted for a homicide warrant in Georgia has been arrested for the murder of Future’s former bodyguard.

Tywan Porter was arrested in Manhattan at a grocery store and is accused of shooting 27 year old Michael “Big Mike” Phillips, an expecting father in late January of this year.

Phillips wife was also at the Jonesboro, GA home during the murder as the two were prepping for a baby shower and had been married just 8 months earlier in the Dominican Republic.

“Some of the neighbors heard some arguing and some gunshots. We are still interviewing them and trying to piece together what happened,” Lt. Frank Thomas of the Clayton County Police Department told Atlanta’s Fox 5.

Members of the Purple Reign rapper’s team said that back in 2011 Future and Phillips “ended their professional relationship,” as reported back in January.

Throughout the search for the accused, Future was reportedly uncooperative with police in their investigation

Just after Big Mike was murdered Future sent out a Tweet in support of his slain former bodyguard (see below).
