Yung Lean Concert Canceled Due To Bomb Threat

FANS OF THE SWEDISH RAPPER/PRODUCER FORCED TO EVACUATE MINNEAPOLIS VENUE

(AllHipHop News) Swedish rapper/producer Yung Lean’s concert in Minneapolis had to be canceled due to a security threat. The Fine Line Music Cafe was evacuated Sunday night after a bomb threat was made on social media.

According to reports, security began escorting fans out of the club around 6:30 pm. Lean exited the venue and remained on his tour bus as police taped off the block.

A bomb squad searched the facility, and it was determined the location was clear of any explosive devices around 7:50 pm. Both Yung Lean and the Minneapolis PD addressed the incident on Twitter.

Yung Lean first gained international attention with his single “Ginseng Strip 2002” and his 2013 mixtape Unknown Death 2002. The Stockholm native has released two studio albums – 2014’s Unknown Memory and 2016’s Warlord. Lean is scheduled to perform in Seattle, Vancouver, and Portland in the coming days.
