Rich Homie Quan And TIG Records Reach A Settlement On Lawsuits

(AllHipHop News) Last year Rich Homie Quan filed a lawsuit against his label, Think It’s A Game Records, for $2 million in unpaid royalties.

The company then counter-sued Quan, claiming the Atlanta-based rapper failed to report money he acquired from unauthorized music he released while under contract with the label.

According to a press release, the two parties have settled their respective suits, but the details of the settlement have not been released.

The move now allows RHQ to focus on presenting new music to the public.

“I feel like LeBron James, I’m ready and looking forward to ending 2016 with a bang, my fans will not be disappointed,” states Quan.

TIG Records CEO Girvan “Fly” Henry adds, “I am going to keep it short and sweet. We are family! We started together and we are going to finish together. It’s been a long ride, but get ready for greatness. Think It’s A Game!!!”

Quan is also celebrating his hit single “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” being certified double platinum. He posted a photo of his platinum plaque to Instagram with the #TIG included in the caption.

As far as the settlement, Rich Homie Quan’s father/manager Corey Lamar shared his thoughts about the conclusion of the legal fight.”

“I feel relieved and I am glad that it came to an end,” says Lamar. “I never worried about us settling, because I knew my faith and trust in God would see us through.”

Even wen they hate. I sit back and count my accomplishments #TIG #rhq
